    Could never get those tires to work right on my rocks until I took a pair of microcutters to them and made all the tread blocks the same height. Looks like they do better on a lighter rig. Nice driving, too, dude -- especially one-handed while filming.

    Shewwww, glad those tires didn’t nuke the video. I have them on my A18 with those exact wheels and they are absolute garbage on rocks. Love this chassis!!

    This is a cool chassis.. those rear shock towers.. having a lower shock tower like that may make it possible to do a cantilever suspension system.
    Very interested! And I'm trying to support small creators.
    Thank you!

      Those X15 are great with 33% OD worm in the front, and stock worm in the rear. With the front tire tread direction reversed.
      And a 3mm long, cut pen spring "added" to the rear shocks (though this one doesn't seem to roll back, looks good).

    Another great video. The comparison of different trucks and different setups are always great to see. Some of the are quite surprising on how good they preform on some of the lines you have. Keep them coming. Love the intro! When you new videos drop, I usually watch the intro twice, because I cannot seem to get enough!

    I’m new to the hobby so apologies in advance if the question is not relevant or stupid but can somebody explain what is the difference between this chassis, the other “cheap” chassis from e. g. Injora, and more expensive ones like Mazz Design cheat code? Thanks in advance 🙏.

    • @24Yepp
      @24Yepp  6 днів тому

      The material is 3d printed, some might see this as a flaw (i have no issue with it)
      The main difference from injora/ other "cheap" ones is the skid angle. It offers a lot of clearance when paired with double bend rear links. Also has all of the shock holes and link holes in the good spots.
      Another plus, he made sliders to perfectly mount and fit a common body.

    • @JMFuzz
      @JMFuzz 8 днів тому +1

      2s is fine for most builds. If you have higher end servos however, that can take 7.4 or 8.4v, you’ll want a 3s to get that max power.
      Also nice to run brushless on 3s, motors like mofo pancakes and other furitek are super good on 3s. Super slow crawl.
      The furitek motor used in this video only takes 2s though.
      Happy crawling !

    • @JanSonnemann
      @JanSonnemann 8 днів тому +2

      With 3d printed rails and motor mount I don't expect much durability. Especially with the heavy wheels (I have the same and for a top-heavy hardbody they are great) I would be afraid killing mounting points after just one drop. Why not be a little bit friendly to our nature and make rails out of a peace of wood, like Josh from Texoma rc did at his beginning? Whould be more durable, not deform when getting to hot and easy to repair/replace.

    • @24Yepp
      @24Yepp  7 днів тому

      @@JanSonnemann Maybe I've just gotten lucky but I havnt had any durability issues with 3d printed stuff. I think as long as the chassis is braced well its good to go 🤷🏼‍♂️
