You're right though, everything is completely controlled on yt now. Make several accounts and comment on the same video. You will notice some of your comments don't show up to all accounts. The comments get filtered for each user.

Yep. It it tough too because I had to put my content under for kids which gets me 0 viewers. I am glad you would be able to see it but it will reduce the people willing to post that content so younger people will have less and less to see.

The worst thing is that it sometimes deletes your comments for no reason, even if doesn't offend anyone and has no rude words. And also comments from other (not main) channels are always getting as "likely spam" for no reason.

youtube keeps removing my recently uploaded catagory lately. now it take way more time to find what i want to watch. im a news junkie and its almost impossible to keep up without the recently uploaded. i guess i shouldnt be surprised as it is an election year.
My struggle is with how they are hurting and limiting smaller channels like myself. I have been on this since 2008 and I have been on this train ride for awhile and now it has become a train wreck and hurting smaller channels like us.

I've been a youtuber for 3 years and i haven't asked anybody to subscribe once, I'm not joking, I think it's honestly stupid to ask your audience to subscribe it's like going up to a random person and saying "remember to breathe today" it's utterly pointless

Great vid Rogut! I'm just a viewer. What I hate about youtube is that they just puke the viewers own stuff back onto the viewer. If I watch a tv show that I like, they shove that tv series down my throat for the the rest of my life along with my entire history with youtube. What a clever way to dump us all up. The other way that they retard the viewers is by giving us a small, empty search window at the top of the screen. What if I just want to explore and find new things to see, hear and learn about? I remember that when youtube first started you could search through a youtube directory. Laws should require that all social networks offer a directory option that would allow users to explore and find new information. The search window is 'nice' but extremely limits what a viewer can search for, and to me that is criminal. I wish I new how to go about fixing youtube and probably some other broken social media sites. 😢

Just last week I cute a huge stack of firewood, which is more than UA-cam ever paid me in 12 years.. which was a total of zero cents. Remember when you only had one ad at the beginning of a video, occasionally? Those were some good times. I actually don't mind an occasional ad because sometimes they showed interesting things. But now- you get multiple ads every 2 minutes of watching a UA-cam video. It's just too much

It has become so commercial. It has lost the "You" part in UA-cam. People made videos for fun, not for profit. I get others need to do certain things to stay on top (Clickbait, constant team of content, super polished videos, Sponsors and ads..), but it is repelling me from the platform. Thankfully there are some smaller channels or other YouTibers that keep those things to a minimum and I can stomach it. The ads are aggressive and for some reason I keep getting sexual or conservative ads and I question, why?

UA-cam doesn't care at all about its creators. My channel got ruined by a troll who used bots and scripts. Now the algorithm is working against me and I can't even upload anything anymore. I used to use UA-cam as a platform for educational films in my class, but I can no longer guarantee any of the safety my pupils need. Ever tried reaching a human being at UA-cam when you've got less than 1000 subscribers? Obviously you simply do not count as a serious user. I lost half a million views, those views were gathered with short modest videos in 9 years time. Since the raid I gained 500 Russian "subscribers" (all fake accounts) which are impossible for me to get rid of. Someone malicious decided I shouldn't be on UA-cam and thus happened. And you know what? I know who did it, I gathered all the proof, filed a police report which was also sent to Google, and still... Nothing happened. They simply do no give a shit.
The biggest thign that sucks is everyone comments at once in most videos so you look for a game review or even a comparison between systems you'll find comments at the same moment the video was uploaded meaning they are ALL outdated and maybe patches changed it.etc.

UA-cam suck, youtube is just trash seeing how youtube used to be a fun video sharing site where anyone can use until it became. As a video sharing website only big youtubers can use, until now it seem like youtube became a video sharing website that no one Can use now, seeing how youtube has gotten so worse now and it's sad seeing how there are youtubers that end up disappearing. Seeing leafy and belle delphine both got terminated, like I am only just going to use youtube just to watch videos and share them Since I have a twitter account where I share other people videos, which the only downfall I have with it is how I honestly hate the ads! Which makes me miss the days, where you get to watch a youtube video and not get interrupted at all which I also hate you can't. Even skip some of those ads, and also I hate how youtube keeps deleting my accounts on me! since I lost two accounts since they Suspended both of my accounts, which sucks how I see users that done way worse stuff then me but they don't get suspended. From seeing users making fun of disabilities, or being really toxic they don't get suspended like I really do wish we have a new video Sharing site that can beat youtube for good. :/

Years ago UA-cam used to be like Facebook accept it was videos. Where people can make videos on different topics great discussions about life. It seems like since Justin Bieber came on the scene that's when UA-cam changed because everybody is trying to be a celebrity. There's no originality anymore. And why is it people got to beg for subscribers? Used to be you're the viewer you decide if you want to come back for more. Does anybody remember those days when UA-cam had a video response option? Nowadays it just feels like the heart and soul has been sucked out of UA-cam It feels like UA-camrs only want to do videos for money and subscribers. My question to him is if UA-cam never became a corporation handing out money would you still do videos like you do? I miss those old heartfelt days where people done stuff out of their heart and it was their hobbies something to enjoy meeting people online building friendships.

I would like to ask UA-camrs a good question? Could they do their videos for free if UA-cam and not handed out money? It'll be interesting to see how many UA-camrs keep doing videos without having to get paid. I like it when I run into UA-camrs they don't ask for money because they do it from their heart their hobbies something they enjoy. I might get in trouble here but how did it become an idea to get paid to make videos? Do you really need to get paid to do videos do you really need somebody to pay your internet bill?

One person I followed here on UA-cam who is now cancelled says he and others are working on a media site that will not censor and demonitize it's content creators. His channel on LBRY is called "The Last American Vagabond". He said it could be up and running in a month or so.
Videos feel less genuine than before, everyone feels like a money machine, so I end up listening to music instead of watching these 'high energy, high pitched voiced, music in the background channels', it feels so disgenuine. People like me would watch and laugh at the funniest videos, now it feels plastic.

I enjoy making my own content as well my thoughts and my dreams are becoming famous but because UA-cam is liberally run nowadays and because I am a Republican I cannot effectively use this site to the best of my abilities they instead love to censor me for no reason they bury my videos in the ether for no reason. Lately I've been ripping all of my DVD sets that I bought over a decade ago and keeping the video files in portable harddrives. Computers don't really carry disk drives anymore unless you buy a portable USB DVD/Blu-Ray device and my old DVD players broke. With how UA-cam videos seem to disappear and get removed for "violating community guidelines" I am convinced that no small time creator is really safe. That is why I outright refuse and don't subscribe to live stream services like Paramount Plus, Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix or Amazon Prime. I'm missing a bunch of exclusive shows, but outside of a select few, I honestly don't care about a lot of them. I truly feel for some small time creators out there who are getting the shaft and are getting blacklisted and their videos demonetized. If said video was violating an actual copyright, that's one thing. But getting your stuff taken away because your content was seen as a little too edgy and vocal is taking things too far.
censorship for watchable media is not a new thing. Everyone throwing their arms up in the air about this as if it is new....get over it, sorry. This isn't a freedom of speech issue unless you are talking about the private companies freedom of speech. Their platform their rules.
You are so wrong. First off, UA-cam uses an infrastructure that was largely invented by and built by taxpayers dollars. Second , youtube is a digital town square, it is essentially a digital public space. There are many lawsuits you can use as examples to show speech should be protected. Third Section 230 of the telecommunications decency act, clearly says , that youtube can't edit things posted by users if they want to keep their status as a platform. If they start editing content then they fall into the category of a publisher and lose their section 230 protections, that keep them from being responsible for things posted by their users. So for all these reasons, I think we should go ahead and uphold *Traditional American Values* like the ability to say what we want to say. You know... *FREEDOM*....

And not that i have a problem with old content but seriously i was on Ytube 6 yrs ago and i enjoyed the content, nw its 6 yrs later and i wanna be recommend content that is a relevant to today... youtube keeps removing my recently uploaded catagory lately. now it take way more time to find what i want to watch. im a news junkie and its almost impossible to keep up without the recently uploaded. i guess i shouldnt be surprised as it is an election year.
Its always important using alternative sites like youtube to satisfy that itch.
My struggle is with how they are hurting and limiting smaller channels like myself. I have been on this since 2008 and I have been on this train ride for awhile and now it has become a train wreck and hurting smaller channels like us.

When I realized this, I left UA-cam and rejoined the real world and started getting things done. Just last week I cute a huge stack of firewood, which is more than UA-cam ever paid me in 12 years.. which was a total of zero cents. It has become so commercial. It has lost the "You" part in UA-cam. People made videos for fun, not for profit.
I get others need to do certain things to stay on top (Clickbait, constant team of content, super polished videos, Sponsors and ads..), but it is repelling me from the platform. Thankfully there are some smaller channels or other YouTibers that keep those things to a minimum and I can stomach it. The ads are aggressive and for some reason I keep getting sexual or conservative ads and I question, why?

UA-cam doesn't care at all about its creators. My channel got ruined by a troll who used bots and scripts. Now the algorithm is working against me and I can't even upload anything anymore.
I used to use UA-cam as a platform for educational films in my class, but I can no longer guarantee any of the safety my pupils need.
Ever tried reaching a human being at UA-cam when you've got less than 1000 subscribers? Obviously you simply do not count as a serious user. I lost half a million views, those views were gathered with short modest videos in 9 years time. Since the raid I gained 500 Russian "subscribers" (all fake accounts) which are impossible for me to get rid of. Someone malicious decided I shouldn't be on UA-cam and thus happened. And you know what? I know who did it, I gathered all the proof, filed a police report which was also sent to Google, and still... Nothing happened.
They simply do no give a shit.

The biggest thign that sucks is everyone comments at once in most videos so you look for a game review or even a comparison between systems you'll find comments at the same moment the video was uploaded meaning they are ALL outdated and maybe patches changed it.etc.

Years ago UA-cam used to be like Facebook accept it was videos. Where people can make videos on different topics great discussions about life. It seems like since Justin Bieber came on the scene that's when UA-cam changed because everybody is trying to be a celebrity. There's no originality anymore. And why is it people got to beg for subscribers? Used to be you're the viewer you decide if you want to come back for more. Does anybody remember those days when UA-cam had a video response option? Nowadays it just feels like the heart and soul has been sucked out of UA-cam It feels like UA-camrs only want to do videos for money and subscribers. My question to him is if UA-cam never became a corporation handing out money would you still do videos like you do? I miss those old heartfelt days where people done stuff out of their heart and it was their hobbies something to enjoy meeting people online building friendships.
UA-cam got so repetitive man 😡 for example , I would like to discover new songs or interesting videos with autoplay. I listen to a song and expect a new or different song , but what does youtube do instead ? It plays a video i already saw before or continue watching from were I left off on a video

I would like to ask UA-camrs a good question? Could they do their videos for free if UA-cam and not handed out money? I like it when I run into UA-camrs they don't ask for money because they do it from their heart their hobbies something they enjoy. I enjoy making my own content as well my thoughts and my dreams are becoming famous but because UA-cam is liberally run nowadays and because I am a Republican I cannot effectively use this site to the best of my abilities they instead love to censor me for no reason they bury my videos in the ether for no reason.

Lately I've been ripping all of my DVD sets that I bought over a decade ago and keeping the video files in portable harddrives. Computers don't really carry disk drives anymore unless you buy a portable USB DVD/Blu-Ray device and my old DVD players broke.
With how UA-cam videos seem to disappear and get removed for "violating community guidelines" I am convinced that no small time creator is really safe. That is why I outright refuse and don't subscribe to live stream services like Paramount Plus, Disney Plus, Hulu, Netflix or Amazon Prime. I'm missing a bunch of exclusive shows, but outside of a select few, I honestly don't care about a lot of them.
I truly feel for some small time creators out there who are getting the shaft and are getting blacklisted and their videos demonetized. If said video was violating an actual copyright, that's one thing. But getting your stuff taken away because your content was seen as a little too edgy and vocal is taking things too far.

First off, UA-cam uses an infrastructure that was largely invented by and built by taxpayers dollars.
Second , youtube is a digital town square, it is essentially a digital public space. There are many lawsuits you can use as examples to show speech should be protected.
Third Section 230 of the telecommunications decency act, clearly says , that youtube can't edit things posted by users if they want to keep their status as a platform. If they start editing content then they fall into the category of a publisher and lose their section 230 protections, that keep them from being responsible for things posted by their users.
So for all these reasons, I think we should go ahead and uphold *Traditional American Values*
like the ability to say what we want to say. You know... *FREEDOM*....

Ytube always suggests videos that are from around 6 yrs ago... And not that i have a problem with old content but seriously i was on Ytube 6 yrs ago and i enjoyed the content, nw its 6 yrs later and i wanna be recommend content that is a relevant to today... Just pls Ytube, stop recommending content from 6yrs ago...(or make it an option adleast)
