I'm old, 59. I've always been into horror. I love it. I've been discouraged with the state of horror. Then I was introduced to you and analog horror! Thank you! You helped make it scary and exciting again!! You Rock!
Oddly enough, in canon, springlock suits are typically safe if maintained correctly, and springlock failure incidents are survivable, and in the books its stated William survived a previous failure. its also stated to be a slow and painful death, so it makes sense there's a window of survivability with help
The "rerun" part of the beginning is referring to the fact that significant portions of the early episodes are shot for shot remakes of the Squimpus McGrimpus tapes.
I can explain the "Happy Birthday" Tones shown in NonExistent Video Battington released a BTS video a while after that explained that the tones are more or less a "calling" for the Fredbear and Bonnie Bun suits in case of emergencies, likely so the two can regroup if needed considering the alarm heard in that scene, its safe to say its supposed to be that in full effect
And Battington stopped when Squimpus virtue signaled on Twitter and told him to stop after Bats did a birthday joke for the Walten Files creator's birthday that people mistook for them being dead.
@@johngonzalez2495 it’s hilarious because why take the moral high road when at the time only they knew what they did? Kind of a stupid move looking back on it
I feel like the idea of each suit having more then one kid stuffed inside would add another level of terror to this already horrifying story. It would make the animatronics a lot more unstable and aggressive because multiple souls are trying to take control
I believe that having someone unscrew the springs for a victim is so that they may be granted a more merciful, aka faster, death. While getting springlocked definitely spells death, the springs in the suit would plug the wounds, therefore making the process of bleeding out longer. Death due to springlock failure, while inside the suit the whole time, is a long and painful death. It would be much better for said person to be taken out of the suit so they can bleed out quickly. It would also prevent the suit from being ruined by blood; therefore, saving money.
14:31 this version of purple guy is especially creepy bc it was a photo of “William” used by the original series creator, squimpus mcgrimpus, for a very scary part of a repair tape if I’m not mistaken. Seeing him in this tape gave a visceral feeling.
I’m normally not very into videos that use lots of funny pictures/memes but you just have the talent to put these totally on the right spots. Combined with your calm and sometimes sarcastical voice over, this is just so entertaining to watch. And you always give lots of credit and show respect towards the creators of the analog horror series which makes you even more sympathetic. I’ve been binge watching your videos for the last few days and so far I’m not getting any tired. Keep up the great work! 💜
I was honestly hoping you'd cover the rest of Battington's FNaF videos. Thanks for fulfilling my wish! Also, here's an idea for a new analog horror video. How about some Doctor Who analog horror?
I was wondering why it looked so stylised but also familiar, it's Battington, the same creator that gave us Harmony & Horror and scared the living daylights out of Wendigoon with the goat face
I would also recommend Twelveman’s FNAF series, as it has the darkest depiction of Afton I’ve ever seen. Be warned though, it’s very dark in disturbing at times.
15:17 that is whats known as a spring lock failure horrible way to go as someone is inside of the animatronic and the actual robot parts got violently stuffed into the worker
m.youtube.com/@md-ptv This channel did some reeeeeally good SCP-style interview tapes with multiple animatronics, really good blend of analogue horror genres and I highly recommend!! I will say, they're currently on an indefinite hiatus, so its unfinished, but what's here is definetly worth suggesting to you!
"God, hold these souls that have joined above your intended morals for they are not in control and have been consumed by rage. Look into yourself to forgive these souls for the harm they have put on the living."
chica was actually trying to save the girl because in one frame you can see springbonnies (william aftons) ears over the top of the stall door and he was trying to kill the girl
15:34 I KNOW THIS ONE its a springlock failure. The two suits have that feature so that the two actors can locate each other. In this clip the actor has been springlocked and is using the call feature to alert staff to their location. Still no clue why the cameraman is just filming and not going over to help their coworker or calling for medical help.
9:20 Chica wasn't trying to save the child, she was commanded by Afton to kill her. We know that Chica is already possesed by this point, since we actually see Susie's death, therefore, this is another child. We know that Afton isn't the type who likes to get his hands dirty, atleast, not yet. And we've also seen that he's able to manipulate and command the robots in some sort of way, just as we've seen in the books, the movie, and probably in the games. So, I think it is pretty obvious that Chica, or Susie, was doing this against her will, and was rather being manipulated by Afton
My problem with this series is that parts of it rely on you knowing at least some of the source material. If it could stand on its own, or at least produce an easy-to-deduce series of events that lead to what's shown, it would be a lot stronger.
