Really appreciate the support. I'm really glad to hear all the theory's and perspectives. I probably should have included in the description, but yes I voiced bonnie, freddy, william afton, and fredbear. Also what if chica wasn't trying to kill the girl in the bathroom, but instead was warning her? That's one of my favorite scenes because the animatronics intentions can be bad or good, but you can never truly tell. Thank you again for supporting the series, and for supporting spectre. Really great video.

My biggest gripe with the fnaf series has always been how we never really got to see the animatronics be animatronics. I feel like the series would be 100x better if there were like, progressive scenes with them preforming and slowly degrade as each night passed.

If it's between the nights tho, it gives the developers time to figure out why they are degrading. Maybe even close down the Pizzaplex so they can be cleaned during the day meaning Gregory can be around during the day and the night.

I love how realistic Squimpus' VHS remake/Battington's VHS series is tbh; like how for example, the animatronics look to have huge CEC or ShowBiz Pizza design inspiration, and also how they never really rely on the jumpscare factor, and that it is mostly the Anticipation of the scare that gets me.

Actually seeing how someone would wear the springlocks really puts it into perspective on how dangerous and terrifying it must be to wear one. Like I know I would not have the guts to get inside one. With my luck it would lock up and it doesn't seem you have long to live once it happens. And that's assuming you'll be able to scream for help with all that pain and that someone would hear you and come in time (and like there's no way someone would be able to stay calm when they're in pain and dying).

I’ve seen not many people talk about the bare plate endo crawling around scene. But from the few that I’ve seen do, the most popular theory is that this was the aftermath of the bite.
When the Crying Child dies, he immediately gets trapped in the Fredbear endoskeleton/suit. And this scene is the first time we see him wake up in this state. The building sets up an evacuation alarm as the suit weakly crawls around, as if CC is trying to get used to it and actually understand what’s going on. He must be so confused and in such agony of suddenly being trapped that he tries to talk… but the only thing the robot allows to go out of his sound box is the happy birthday tune. And then, when CC sees the cameraman, he starts to get closer probably not to kill them, but to beg for help: that’s why he reaches his hand to him and finally let’s a horrendous scream.
All we might be watching is the terrifying experience of the CC when he possesses an animatronic for the first time.

Although, the fact that the scene is CC possessing the suit doesn’t require it to happen precisely right after the incident. I don’t even think FFD would have just functioned normally the day after the bite.
Perhaps, if CC did hold on a little longer on the hospital for a couple of days, his soul eventually got transported back to the suit once he passed and caught the employees off guard

FNAF is ALWAYS going to have an appeal to children solely because the mascots of the franchise are animatronic animals. Yeah, there's the fact that these animatronics were possessed by the souls of murdered children, but when has stuff like that ever driven you children/ teenagers away from the series? When I was a kid, I grew up with stuff like Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Invader Zim, etc. and I loved every moment of it.
The fact of the matter is, FNAF is always going to have this level of cheese and absurdity that makes it more easily digestible than most other mainstream horror franchises in the gaming market and it's always going to have this large portion of the franchise turning whatever "serious" and "horrifying" aspect of the franchise into a joke. There's no escaping that.
It feels like people like you take this franchise more seriously than it has any right to be taken. No amount of dark and edgy backstories and fan projects is ever going to take away from the fact that our primary antagonists are anthropomorphic robotic animals or otherwise that under normal circumstances wouldn't be anymore than just modestly creepy to look at.

With the Bonnie joint test, if you compare Bonnie's head from the Ear test and the Eye test, his head has shifted slightly. His eyes are wider and his jaw is opened slightly more, I think. It's either that, or he has shifted from looking at animatronic eye level to looking down at the camera. A subtle, but creepy effect.

That scene in the video with Bonnie Bun and Fredbear on stage has just stuck with me. It has such a feverish quality to it, with the music, the colors, the limited eyesight, the breathing. It’s such a nightmare scenario to be stuck performing to kids in this sweaty death trap of a suit, right next to a partner that probably isn’t even human. The way it stares seems almost mocking. Not to mention when the camera turns toward William. God, seeing a guy like that out of the crowd just staring at you and not even knowing what it entails or even being able to do anything about it. Not to mention, if the person in that suit suffered a springlock failure, all the kids watching the show would have to see.

The “scary face malforms AHH” trope is only scary once for me when it comes to watching these VHS series. Squimpus is the only exception. For a while (good month) Afton’s normal face alone gave me terrible nightmares , and any time I’d watch a video on the series I’d skip past the face because it would genuinely give me an anxiety attack. The only ever thing to come close to that would be Gloria in H&H. Guess I was a Wimpus McDimpus.

My all time favorite moment from this remake series is the part where the, for a lack of a better word, skinless Fredbear crawls around the pizzeria and calls out to Spring Bonnie. Just the way he pulls himself across the floor without his suit on and uses the 'Happy Birthday' song to communicate with Spring Bonnie all while a siren blares is genius and terrifying at the same time, and when I show that clip to friends they don't even notice that Fredbear is trying to find Spring Bonnie via audio-marco polo, and the fridge horror they experience when they realize that is just proof at how good Battington is at horror.
It really sucks Scrimpus had to be a big sourpuss as always and tell Battington to stop with the remakes, because I would have loved to see his take on the video with the Crying Child and Charlie; given how great he remade the Pirate Cove Pre-show video.

I do like this series but I think the whole remake stuff lowers it a bit for me. The highlights of the series for me are mostly the original stuff like the dissecting of the fredbear and bunny bun suits, the fredbear endo layer crawling in the halls, and of course the chica bathroom scene. But when it comes to the stuff being remade it doesn’t really add much for me. The Freddy and Bonnie tape’s don’t really add much for me to make me want to watch them over the originals even if the Bonnie one has a cool introduction to the fixing tape but in general for the Bonnie one it felt less scary than the original video. The chica bathroom scene is legit one of the best scenes from fan made Fnaf content but after that it ends up giving me the same feelings as the Freddy and Bonnie videos, I’m also still debating on whether the ending wear chicas face falls off was either either scarier or goofier than the original. The foxy tape has the mix of original and remake to wear it has the base of the original ( the repeating foxy clip, the children going missing one by one, hanging fredbear, and discard it immediately) but new scenes the preshow clip of foxy being rewritten and adding the rest of the gang with it. I do think at points it’s more effective than the original however it’s still not great since the preshow clip being shown is written to be longer and the repeating part kinda brings the tension down, like after the first child goes missing you know something’s gonna happen with the rest gang. Your right about that guess and the video just goes on, you already know what’s gonna happen from there and the most that’s gonna get you is the little chica scream. Sure we get the foxy peaking out of the cove and running down the hallway shot, and the dead kids by the end but other than being cool little additions there not really notable( and the dead children by the end and even the gore we do see break some of the subtlety from the original) The fredbear family dinner training tape and through out makes me really excited for the series since it’s original content meaning there no basis to go off of and you don’t know what to expect ( which is again a big problem with the main 4 gang tapes for me ) while the fredbear video does have the remake part by the last half, the whole starting half is just about completely original making it more unexpected and gives a lot of room for some new ideas, and plus the last being remade isn’t really about the scares so that helps a bit. I can’t say much about the springtrap and toy Bonnie tapes and I need to watch that last one In fact. But so far I love how he’s treating springtrap and the horror attraction so far. I feel like the series has a huge amount of potential from here on out ( I do hope that more subtley and less in your face horror is used here on out as well)
