[Seattle] AMR Ambulance Lights & Siren Collection!

- Captured here are a variety of American Medical Response (AMR) emergency ambulances responding to various medical calls all over the city of Seattle!
AMR is a private company, which is contracted by the city of Seattle for some ambulances services. AMR vehicles are staffed by EMTs, who provide basic life support (BLS) and transportation among hospitals and medical facilities in the area. More highly-trained paramedics, who work for the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) and the ‘Medic One’ program respond to more severe advanced-life-support (ALS) calls in Seattle.
As it was explained to be my firefighters in Seattle, AMR ambulances are most often called to assist the fire department with basic medical calls. For instance AMR will transport patients who are in a non life threatening condition to the hospital instead of using a fire department medic unit.

Yep, happens pretty often 😂 Many of these videos were filmed while waiting at a fire station or being nearby / on the way to a fire station haha

I like how Seattle uses the private ambulance company for BLS only. Usually if a private ambulance company has a 911 contract they are providing ALS services.

TGG - Global Emergency Responses, no the AMR ambulances don’t normally responding in NYC. But they sent the AMR task force to support our hospitals

Great collection! I think I recognized all of those filming spots; the ones around pioneer square are a lot sketchier these days (and I'm sure they were already pretty sketchy a few years ago).
Thank you Lucas! Yea, most of these locations were at or near fire stations, everything else was random luck :) ...and yea Pioneer square is very similar to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Great for emergency vehicles, not so great for walking around with a big camera lol

I believe they are sometimes re-labeled as American brands in the US. Not sure how it works exactly. Some kind of local deal that Mercedes has going on.
