Hey Gareth - it would be mightly helpful if you create a video how to train/fine-tune OpenAI with Airtable data

I'm from Brazil, and here we use comma (,) as a decimal separator. when I needed to send data to csv ou xls file always had problems.... great (tiny) new feature.

Agreed! Much easier and faster to display data the way you prefer!

Nice feature for me in Switzerland where we use 1’000.00 or 1 000.00.
Unfortunately the format is lost when using automation to send an email for example.
It has been cool to be able to chose a consistency number format for all the numbers in a base.

Agreed! Nice feature, but not helpful in automations. You'll need to convert the number to a string with the formatting you want in order to use it in automations

Gareth, what happens when we use these new number formats in strings? Are we going to see the number with the field formatting? This is what I have found so troubling with Airtable over the years, is how the string outputs have been so unmanageable.

Great point! The number is still treated as a number, not a string. This means when you use it in automations, the formatting does not come through. To have formatting carry into automations, you need to write a formula that converts your number field to a string 😥
