- In this video I give go over what I think are all the relevant specifications for the 2024 BMW R 12 nineT and then I give you my first ride impressions. This is a true rider's bike and I'm now looking forward to spending more time on it and building a more well rounded opinion of it.

Got mine just over a week ago. 600 miles later and still loving it.
That’s great to hear! Congratulations
Excellent review, very informative and well orated. Well done.
Great video by the way.
Thanks Ross!
Thanks for the great review
I love the spoke wheels
I will buy it in 2029, it's my dream bike...
That Aluminum tank looks great
I own 2023 R nineT Scrambler. I like it quite a bit as well, although the running engine kinda sounds like farm equipment.
Nice quick review. I have a 21yr R9T with the similar electronics and and still love it. The only mods I made were tail tidy and rear suspension I swapped for Wilbers which totally transformed the bike. I’d be keen to know what the rear shock is like on this new model. I really like the digital dash and phone mount on this one with the control wheel on left handlebar. For me that’s the one thing that would make me consider the upgrade. I like the tank on my one more, but the rear is much tidier on the new one. I wouldn’t bother with option 719 trinkets though they are very nicely finished. Thanks
Ah, thanks for your nice comments and it's good to hear some detail from an owner :)
I have same but I added Ti Akra headers, and a set of silver Kineos
It sure sounds good.
Only if you're not riding it. True story.
BMW do produce bikes that are all quality and the R12NineT is no different. Have to say though, for me, I prefer the R12, which is also a bit cheaper.
I rode one at Oxford BMW and found the front suspension far too stiff. Maybe the R12 would be better...
Is this engine same as that on 1250GSA ?
Nice review
Love the bike, but I’d take the Moto Guzzi for much cheaper. The BMW is just priced way too high. Regardless, enjoyed your video and insight!
Needs a proper front mudguard and some sort of hugger, looks nice but despite the obvious quality its way to pricey.
Ditch the twin silencers.
I reckon the twin pipes look the goods.
Nice bike, but there's better out there for considerably less money
If you showed me it I'd assume it was like a £6000-8000 budget bike like a Royal Enfield or Honda Hornet or something.... Not 14K!
The silly bit about the configuration.... you can get the headlight fairing in black, but not brushed aluminium to suit this style in the video. Neither can you get it in green to go with the other colourway. I would have bought the green but the fairing did not match. WTF BMW?
5k to expensive compared to other retro bikes with similar specs…
I’d be interested to know which bike you think is 5k cheaper with similar specs
"Every signal detail"... What about weight? Over 180 kg/400 lbs? If so, add two wheels--it's an automobile.
Ride a dirt bike then lmao
Sorry but that's not for me 🤔💭🐑🇵🇭🏴⭐
