That really is a proper sword. I looked up the forging project and master blade smiths who made it. It’s not a knockoff or prop. Unfortunately, it’s the only one of its quality. The commission for it was privately contracted. You can’t get a duplicate. THAT’S one hell of a gift!

Man At Arms: Reforged could have done the same sword in less than half the time. One of those smiths later went on Forge In Fire and easily won the competition.

Real ones are rarely used in scenes and they usually end up in studio collections or kept by their creators. Actually, Arnold Schwarzenegger still has the real original Atlantean Sword from Conan The Barbarian.

I only watched it last month when my mother bought the blue ray and I must say that since then I have watched it 10 times! The scenes, the photography, the MUSIC is fantastic! Charlie was wonderful and I was very satisfied! I do not understand why it was not appreciated! What was wrong? Why was the story too different from the other Arthur movies? Better that way we have not already spoiled the movie! Was not there a love story? Who cares! We did not miss it. (sorry for my english but it's not my first language)

Kelly Kelso judging by how long he said it took the blacksmiths to make it and all the guest’s attention to the blade, I’m fairly certain it has a Damascus blade and overall of equal or greater quality to the prop
At first I was kind of offended about Guys referring to the Japanese blacksmiths who made the swords for the movies. But I had to realize that's just how he is. He meant no offense period so I'm not going to get too pissed at him. But if I ever get the opportunity to meet him I'm going to say something.
