I’m still not sure how I feel about audience’s singing along. This crowd was almost at the boygenius audience level of singing so loud you can’t hear the band. In the one shot of Aurora, it’s almost as if she’s picking out all of the out-of-key singers 🥸
I think the band really appreciated it. It's very easy for us fans to enjoy their meteoric rise, but for these ladles it's all completely new and I just enjoy them enjoying it. If that makes sense.
@@alanadams7071 Yeah, it definitely makes sense. That’s the reason I love seeing the crowd sing along. But then sometimes, the grumpy old bugger in me shows through and I want to yell at them to “shut up” so I can hear the band 🥸 I never do it, but sometimes I really want to , haha!
If I don't want to hear any interaction between the band and the audience, I listen to the studio version. Sometimes, with a small crowd, it may happen that a few are drunk and it becomes slightly obscene. But other than that, there is only one thing that really makes me grind my teeth: If the audience claps on 1+3. That physically hurts me.
@@paulrandig Audience clapping: this proves just how badly music needs to be taught in schools! People are clapping everywhere but the beat, neither the 1 & 3 or the 2 & 4. They're all over the damn place.😢
This feels like sitting together with very good friends making music. Intimate, real, honest.
Lizzie's voice is so insanely pretty ugh
She has a nice voice. Lizzie.
