I’m so glad that they are still happily married and still in love with each other for over 50yrs, a rarity in the Music World because most rock stars change wives like we change clothes! It’s so refreshing that they take their vows seriously and not walking away when things got rough!

10/4/21: Just saw them at The Ridgefield Playhouse in CT and they were absolutely fabulous!! Voices were beautiful and strong, what a blessing to have seen these music legends. Love the entire 5th Dimension.
You can see light in the world, in these last days(times),just by looking at this couple.It's a good thing when people unite in the Lord.(Beautiful souls).

For me Sly and Family, Stone was the highlight of the film. They encapsulated the time period more than any other artists there and with all original material written by Sly Stone!!! They knocked it out of the park.

Billy Davis sung to the Black audience in his Gospel vernacular 50 years ago at the Summer of Soul Concert...As a Pop group The 5th Dimensions style would be different for a Popular music audience... That is how artists adapt to the audience they are playing to....The 5 the Dimension garnered new fans at that concert.
Funny how they won't actually show the actual performance at soul fast because it was an actual amazing performance and I can't find it anywhere other than Hulu

Ultimately they brought everyone together, which is what matters above all else. Marilyn and Billy are incredibly humble and they move me to tears of joy and happiness.
Does the world need another Beatles tribute album?! The point,of the film was how so many,black artists never got their due. How about a tribute to " "The,Summer of Soul" all artists ftom the festival. How about a tribute to 1) Curtis Mayfield 2) Sly and Family Stone 3) Aretha Franklin Those are deserving tributes!!!
