Swords Only in Genshin Impact can be quite challenging at times. However, as the self-proclaimed master of "Weapon" Only challenges in this game, I am able to best any obstacle (probably).
HoYoVerse put out a tweet saying "Polearm Impact"... So I decided to take it upon myself to make a new account, but only use characters who wield a sword because absolutely nobody asked me to.

I personally use it on Ayato but as a Jean main, I can say you that all the swords that have attack or ER are good on her.

HELLO FELLOW JEAN MAIN ! I used to use r5 sac sword on her before i gave it to xingqiu now i run her with lions roar
I personally use Haran Geppaku Futsu on Ayato, but as a non-Jean main, I would say the Amenoma Kageuchi is the best F2P weapon for her because of the ATK it gives and it’s ER passive.
Java, might I respectfully suggest... using sunfire plus dendro in the stamina-less domain?
It's probably your best shot at generating a lot of pyro dmg with both swirl and burning and pyro dmg is really the only way to comfortably deal with that domain (who am I kidding it still sucks, but it sucks a little less)
Or you could try sunfire, Haitham, Xingqui for burgeon
Kazuha, Jean and Bennett is a great combo for that domain
Honestly, he's got Layla. Combine her with some pyro, like Bennett, and then at least one character to quickly kill stuff once they lose their shield. Having a shield means no need to avoid the icicles, which saves your stamina, and, well, Layla's shield is cryo, so 2.5x as effective against cryo... she gets a very tough shield in that domain, since the highest level is all cryo damage.
Mind you, won't make the domain instantly fast, but it does remove the main annoyance.

A note on the Jean- I run her on Amenoma r1 with an ER Sands and as long as I get some stacks I can cast her burst off of cooldown-- an ATK sands might need you to get 3 stacks every time though, so just keep that in mind
This one actually IS pretty good on Jean, considering her healing scales of Attack and that her main healing comes from her Burst, meanwhile this sword gives her first of all, attack, but also replenishes some energy for her!🎉

you *have* to slide off of it, and with interesting teleport physics (al/keq), you can become the next qiqi from the sky!
Jean was my first 5 star on my account (lost pulling for Zhongli in 3.0, started in 2.8) and since then I love using her. I hope you do too on Swords only :D

The quest for the sword is very easy to replicate. Thanks for the guide 10/10
For the Mondstadt book domain, make use of Layla. Layla's shield has a 12s duration and recharge, so basically 100% uptime. More importantly, it is cryo, so 2.5x as effective at absorbing cryo damage. And all the damage in that domain is cryo, including the falling icicles. So you pretty much don't have to worry about them, provided she's at least somewhat decently built, and therefore, stamina issues mostly go away. Of course, Layla will do jack all for damage, since her cryo will be as worthless against shielded enemies as theirs is against hers, and the slimes are immune, but still worth it, just so you can ignore the icicles. The other 3 characters can handle the offense.
Though, of course, then you'd probably have to build your Layla. But hey, even without dedicated farming for her, she can at least make use of all the hp% ones.

Never give up on swords only! You will be able to do chamber 12 eventually! Emphasis on “eventually”.
for anyone that doesnt know: when u use jeans and bennetts burst it always applies pyro 100% uptime and its called sunfire based on league of legends
Man needs to raise like a million characters. It's still good he got her. You might want to build her physical or sunfire (Bennett + Jean) for shield shreds.

I think that an interesting team to try would be Ayato/Ayaka, with kazuha and sunfire. TBF Ayato works a little better in this scenario than Ayaka, but if you really want to use Ayaka in the Abyss, you could try this melt Ayaka team.

OMGGG yes you got jean! I just lvl 80 mine and she is so good!! Her healing is an absolute god send in spiral abyss. The sword you chose is probably the best f2p option. I suggest you try sunfire jean/kazuha its a fun team comp!!

Hey java, I actually have a team that I've been using with jean, and it is: Ayato as main dps, jean as sub dps, kazuha and Bennett as supports. And you don't need to but er sands on her, because I put atk sands and run her with kazuha and her alt recharges pretty fast

the sword you get from kazuhas quest is also rly good for jean and also gives some extra damage which helps because her normal atk can heal as she attacks which is great if you don’t have her burst
Probably best to put Kagauchi (your new sword) on Ayaka, Ayato, or Keqing. Whichever needs more attack
hello!! suggestions on where to put jean, you could put her in an ayato or ayaka team with bennett, because if u stand in bennett's ult and use jean's, then you can swirl pyro really easily and quickly! (faster than kazuha, and u MUST have pyro application on jean)

Me personally I’ve seen a lot of people playing Jean with Gladiators because it increases her attack which increases her healing but idrk.

3: I don't know if it's just me, but all I had to do to get the blueprint for that sword was go to Jinren Island, free the dude, do that part of the quest and done. (I did the Sakura Cleansing way before so that might be it)
i brought jean into a domain and ended up doing 33k

I use Amenoma Kageuchi on Ayaka, but it's so good on Jean that I made another one just for her. Solid pick. For artifacts, I use 2pc Shimenawa and 2pc Viridescent to maximize her damage output while also contributing to her healing since her healing scales off her atk. If she's the only anemo in the team then I'd recommend 4pc Viridescent and if Bennett isn't in the team I'd recommend 4pc Noblesse, but the 2pc/2pc is her most flexible option. For stats I use atk%/anemo dmg/crit for a sub-DPS, because even without focusing on her healing and completely ignoring ER a fully built Jean is (in my experience) a strong enough healer to keep the team at or close to full HP. If you want to go all in on healing you can go for triple atk% (healing bonus is more healing but less damage).

The early game mondstadt and liyue ascension domains are insanely rage inducing if u dont hav or cant use the best characters for it
This book domain, i love using xiangling and zhongli, flex slots
The hydro domain, ayaka and ganyu make that place so ez
The electro domain, ghe one that drains ur energy, my nahida and kuki, and chars whose skills are their main values
And yeh, some stuff along those lines
Java, with all respect to you and the fact that you gotta get paid, I only have the energy for one Gacha and it's this one you're playing where you just got Jean.
Something you may find advantageous to exploit is that Jean actually has damage scaling based on the enemy's current HP as long as they can be launched with her charged attack. Spike 'em up then use her Hold Skill to fling them straight up and they'll be in for it on the way down. Try it out on Sumeru Bounties next time you get one of the mid-rank Eremites as your mark.
That sword is also one of the best ones for ayaka, so now u can put mistplitter on keqing :)
