Making Uncle Roger's Pasta From Scratch Cos I Ain't Paying $30
Вставка

- Uncle Roger has released his own spicy noodles; that Creamy Chili Crab Pasta thingy. Problem is...it's freaking $30 dollars, and that's not even shipping and tax included. Do you guys have any idea how much $30 is in Malaysian currency? It's over 120 bucks! 😭💀 So I ain't paying $30, no way Jose!
Also, it's because the product itself is no longer available for purchase at eatmila.com 😭
So here I am, going full DIY on making my version of Uncle Roger's Creamy Chili Crab Pasta, while keeping it as authentic as possible by means of following his recipe from his original 'weejio'.
Of course, I did some few tweaks and changes to accommodate what was available to me at the time so, it's obviously not 100% similar to the original product. I ain't spoiling it here... WATCH THE GOSH DARN VIDEO!

Congratulations once again, fam! ✨🍜💜
0:12 wait, what was the that thing at the left that looked like a potato😅
Ohhhh thats ginger 😙 Pretty popular aromatic to be paired with whenever seafood is involved
This is the best tips in how to save money
Absolutely!! 😁😁💜
Hello again! so glad to see u growing so fast!
Thank you so much!! I'm pretty surprised myself at the same time, super grateful. In 4 months, it's gonna be the first anniversary of my channel and I look forward to celebrating it with my noodle fams 💜💜🍜✨
Uncle Roger Chili Crab Pasta (Dollar Store Version 1.1)
[MADE IN MALAYSIA]
Mine is the real made in Malaysia 😂😂😂😂 Uncle Roger may be Malaysian but his is giving ‘exported goods’ 🤭
@willitnoodle maybe it's giving [PASAR/LOCAL GOODS] :))
Ithink bro forgot how to screen recording😂
LOOOL I actually tried to download the video but it was impossible (mind blown by UA-cam's security levels) so u know what, I'll just manually record 😂 Maybe the phone recording effects could help avoid any copyrights lolol
I didn't know it was phone recorded until I saw this comment lol😂😂
Ithink this recipe will going better if you use your own noodle (or pasta whatever😂)
Ngl, I am so using noodles if I happen to make this the second time! I think it would've been better too 🤤
@@willitnoodle hey imagine roger saw this, and you make your own noodle with his recipe,
uncle roger:hayyaaa why so poor using regular noodles and he make it by ur self😂😂
@ LOOOL id like to see him try and roast me 🤣
Oh yes 🎉🎉 btw why is there a band aid on your finger 🥺
It's what I get for not being careful while de-shelling crabs lolol 😂😭
Great and funny video, BTW are you sure you put the right dosage of everything??😅
Heheeee thank you!!! 😁😁💜✨🍜 Well, seasoning-wise, it could be positive, but spicy ingredients-wise, well.... I guess I chickened out 😅🥲🙈
Ive been making it myself for around 6 months now its better
the wallet is happier too! Hehehe
@ definitely, also ironically I easily find everything but lemongrass! Bucantini is everywhere for me
@@Veyyron18 dang it's the opposite for me here in Malaysia. You can literally find lemongrass everywhere. But go to a grocery store and ask for bucatini, they be like "who dat?"
@@willitnoodle Makes senese haha, U.S. here, given his pasta dish is 'malaysian' thats quite funny
How to save $70
Heck yea! 🤣 Overall ingredients costs me only 5 dollars roughly hahahah
Quick question, what would you do if you run out of ideas for vids about noodles
Honestly, if that happens then I can always resort to my noodle fams (you guys 💜) for suggestions :D
But no worries, I don't think I'm ever running out of ideas for a few years cos I have hundreds more ingredients to try in my list (and the list keeps growing as people share their suggestions on here and TikTok), not to mention plenty of noodle recipes I have yet to share from not only my local Malaysian cuisine, but also, many other cuisines throughout the entirety of Asia. Oh and plenty more long form contents I have in mind, and even many more noodle products I have planned to review 😁😁😁 I even have an idea of making a little vlog of my favorite noodle restaurants (and even that, I didn't have the time to do. Lolol). I think the only vlog I shared for now was the one where I reviewed a hotpot restaurant 😋😋 So yeah, the journey is long, but I'm always open for even more suggestions from you guys! Heheheh 💜🍝✨
Sikitnya letak agent pemedas😂😂
Rasa kena tambah berapa sudu serbuk cili lagi baru rasa pedas2?
Ntah la, takut nak try 🤣🤣🤣 Habanero ni bukannya cam cili padi, takut nak amik risiko hahahah. Tapi mmg menyesal letak sikit lol nasib baik makcik oil tu pedas gile 🤣🤣
Now thinking about it, u sure the whole set of ingredients costs lower than the actual noodles?😅
Yes guaranteed! 😁😁 (Maybe I should've included this info in the video lol oops)
Those three crabs costs me only RM3.95, the pasta was RM4, the spicy powders costs me roughly RM18 BUT I didn't use all of them (they're each 50g except the Carolina reaper being only 10g). So let's simply assume I used RM3 worth (could be less). And I used only half a carton of milk so that's pretty much RM2.70, the aromatics are basically cents worth of each (rough calculation would set me back around RM3) and the seasonings were already available at home but calculating roughly, based on the amount I used vs the price of each product would set me back around RM4 total. Oh yeah forgot to add the price of the normal chili powder. I used roughly RM1.50 worth.
Add them all up and it all would've cost me only RM22.15 which is equal to only $4.95 😁
FIRST COMMENT !
