    CHAPTERS:
In this video, I present to you all of the most interesting traps in the Ponziani Opening. The Ponziani opening is one of the oldest openings in chess history and chess books, as it supports an immediate d4. Although it’s rarely seen in tournaments, it’s very underrated, as white can control the center and develop pieces quickly. This opening is very easy to study and one of the best choices for beginners. Therefore, I think that trying out these wonderful tricks and crazy lines will give you a lot more confidence to face any opponent, from beginner to advanced.

Nice video on my main opening.
Sadly, my opponents always go with the Jaenish counter attack, and every games is the repetition of the same boring stuff. They don't go main line, and after some moves, we are always in an equal position.
Boring boring boring. That must be because of my lousy moves, I don't know.
    Anyway, happy Ponziani everyone.

I agree 💯%. But I'm sure there's someone out there who may find this comfortable to play.

      @@kaspachessofficial You're right.
Even when I say all that, I still play it as my main opening. To me, it is a great exercice in order to be able to be patient, put my pieces on good squares, and try to make the most out of what I've got.
When I started with the ponziani, I was aiming for the traps, and I was even disappointed when the opponents didn't fall for them. ( same for the Vienna i used to play ). Nowadays, I place absolutely no hope in the traps, ans if they happen, they happen. I feel a tad more mature.
Maybe some people can relate to that.
Anyway, dear Kaspa I love your videos. To me, those on the Tennison gambit ( when the main trap doesn't work ) and the Bawdler attack are the absolute best. I cannot thank you enough for that.
Sorry for the long rambling message.

Black should go D5 and not nf6. Many times if c3 is in, black's queen is safe to be on d5

You forgot about opponents who complicate all these tricks by playing an early g6 or b6. How can i be prepared for THAT?

That's totally a different opening that I will need to cover in another video

@@kaspachessofficial it is very nice that you say it like this, because i sometimes try to push for opening traps that no longer exist, expecting i'll find something similar but don't!
