Thank you Kaspa for this video and another video on d4 opening of O'Sullivan's gambit. I was losing a lot facing d4 where I did d5 and then c4 e6 because I don't know what to do correctly in Queen's Gambit. I just won a game with d4 b5 while finally my opponent was greedy to take my knight as cxd5. I took the bishop back and even I forgot my Ba6 and did Bb7, I won at the end with another forking by my Queen - it's so powerful. Thank you again and hope to see more opening courses in your channel.
Ha ha😄 My friend arrived here at our place. Then I stopped this video in the later part because we have to play Chess. I applied this gambit in one of our games and I just beat him with this Gambit. Thanks a lot! This video is very helpful !
White can avoid the gambit and the Alekhine altogether by playing the dull 2. Nc3, which protects the e4 pawn. However, more fun is the chase variation: 1. e4 Nf6 2. e5 Nd5 3. c4 Nb6 4. d4 d6. White's center is more stable than it looks. A maneuvering game results, which requires careful play by both sides.
you're saying white WILL play b4, but only 45 of the 223 people that played this line on Lichess found the correct move (from 3.5 billion total games). The answer from this position isn't as obvious as you would think for white because that light square bishop is trying to win that rook (that's why it's a trap). If they take the rook first, the advantage for black is double the advantage white would get from b4 Qxb4 Bxa8. There is only one good move from this position (to redirect the queen from the 5th rank and that diagonal), everything else loses or equalizes. if you wanted to play safe you would play 7...Nc6 and black is completely fine
even the moves youve made took the pawn. if you play with the queen and knight you block that moves and then black will be in a very difficult position

I have played 1 e4 Nf6 as white, and none of those disasters befell me. Being unfamiliar with Alekhine's defence, I simply headed for more familiar waters.
two things, I love this line, wonderful, you are a sniper in chess. You spend the time and show us. Amazing. I know allot about sniping, hours and even days waiting for that one moment. Hard, thank you for the time you spend. Second, I want to get to 2000 rating, I seem to be stuck at 1450 1484. I seem to be hitting a ceiling. What course of yours would you suggest.
Currently, I have reduced the price to $17.5 per course, subject to change in the long run depending on the demand and supply. Yes, I do plan to make other courses. For more about the courses, check in the description above or contact me via the email provided in the description. Thank you 🙏
You are a great player analyzing bullet game- gee I won't even go there! As I said before this is much like violins in Nimzo indian, thanks and great job..it does look like b4 bust black but otherwise Great!!
Is there a way to search all games that had a promotion to knight? Looking for a crazy gambit I saw 2 years ago where white promotes to queen and black sacrifices multiple peices to advance pawns ultimately promoting TWICE to knight and win the game.
You are correct: White can play c4 first and still get to the main lines, e.g. 3. c4 Nb6 4. d4 d6 and now 5. exd6 is popular in tournaments to avoid the ultra-messy positions after 5. f4. With that said, 2...b5 is hardly anything to lose sleep over. If you don't entirely trust the pawn grab (which isn't to say 3. Bxb5 is bad - objectively, it's probably the best move here) just play 3. Nf3. Then if 3...d6 you can play 4. Bxb5+, taking the pawn with check and giving Black no real compensation. You're probably more likely to see 3...c5 after 3. Nf3, if only because it's the move played after 3. Bxb5, but then there's a fun line that goes 4. c4!? (now Black will be thinking, "Wait, I thought I stopped this move") bxc4 5. Bxc4 Nb6 (or 5...e6 6. Bxd4 exd5 7. O-O with a clear advantage to White) 6. Bxf7+! Kxf7 7. dxc5, trapping the knight to regain the sacrificed piece, e.g. 7...Nc4 8. Qd5+.
Man you deserve a lot of viewers man. All you need is just an upgradation in the video interface Like changing and modifying the boards colour and right side panel that's it

So I tried this, but they blocked the check with their knight and when I took the "free bishop" they played their pawn to attack my queen and knight 🤦♂️

You should show white replying 2. C4 for the simple fact that Magnus played it and he did lose that way
Nice Moves.

Someone did this exact gambit to me yesterday… ❤Great video
I am an Alekhine player myself thanks for the new development of this opening.
He used to beat me a lot before, then I just beat him with this gambit! Very advisable! I love offbeat gambits too!
What if after 5 cxd the white play Qxd4 instead of Bxd5?
You're content is outstanding!

You sir have great video and very informative!!! Cheers
Really nice for you to share this with us!!!! Thanks!!!!
This gambit accepted is like Hudaibiya where you feel like you are playing inferior moves but you just have to keep faith and trust the process.😂

At 14:40 "the counter trap" instead of b3 white should play b4 and black is busted
Instead of 7.Nc3 dxc3, Black can easily play 7...Nc6. good position
How about if white play c4 in 3rd move

what if at 13:46 white doesn't take rook on b8, but instead plays b4! yes b4 and black can resign! FFS it is no good! A player rated 1500 sees this!
I'm gonna look at that

Forget the other move you talk about after knight d5 they always play c4!!! 100% of the game i play , they play c4 after knight d5.
I would always play 3.d4 if I knew the reply was 3...b5

You have lied there! A knight solve things you just have to bring your queen there
What about c4 instead of d4 I. The beginning?
In that point ill play another opening

I don't think there's one direct way, but try to search the key words on UA-cam.
After c5 and white plays c4 attacking the Knight what happens after that.
Perfect
How if white move the knight to f3 to protect the pawn and blocking the black queen to take the g2
Thanks, for a very good video. Keep it up...🙏
How to access lichess database?
Nice video n great lessons
Maybe white can play pawn to c3 before black Queen attacks of course without bishop taking pawn on b5.
Why can't White play after 3...b5 4.Bxb5 c5 simply 5.Ne2 Qa5+ 6.Nbc3 and is a pawn up with the much better position.
1440. What happens if the white plays b4 instead of b3? Does the rook hang?
Yes, white just wins the rook and the position is +8 for white.
white can't play b4, back will take en passant and check
But the en passent rule only works for the 5th rank, not the 6th.
How about Qe4 after Nb4
Great man
You are really the best
Until now that work really well,in any way the opponent play this!Big thank you for the black defence alekhine!
Enjoyed the video, thanks. What happens if white plays c4 after Nd5?
I was asking me the sam3 question!!! I'm elo 1760 and everybody play c4 after d5 !!!
@@nass7070 Yes, to chase that pesky knight away.
You are correct: White can play c4 first and still get to the main lines, e.g. 3. c4 Nb6 4. d4 d6 and now 5. exd6 is popular in tournaments to avoid the ultra-messy positions after 5. f4. What if white plays 5. Ne2 for first one Alekhine defence
The whole idea is just to win the free light squared Bishop on b5.
I'd try it only thing is my opponent would probably go c4 before d4 spoiling it. Don't like Nb6, looks a bit hemmed in.
What happens then if white decided to pin the queen at QC2 after moving to QA5?
From my experience I have seen only f7 pawn moved to attack Knight in d5. 1:49 step doesn’t work
Much like the Vitolins in the nimzo indian
How about blocking with tje queen
So I tried this, but they blocked the check with their knight and when I took the "free bishop" they played their pawn to attack my queen and knight 🤦♂️

Yeah i saw it.. C takes d4 and Queen takes d4. Why Queen takes d4 when you have a free knight on d5?
That is cxd5 instead of Qxd4. Then if Qa4+ then Nc3 after that. Pls explain.
