Fun Fact about Hard Candy: they were sold in Sephora and high end FOREVER ago, like in the 90s they were considered high end and then went to drugstore for some reason. Glad they still got it, they always remind me of my preteen/teen years!
I think they were that grunge through ska scene type thing and then when music and fashion got more girl group and boy band hard candy wasn’t as popular.
I remember going to a big mall (not local to me) purposely to find Hard Candy Nail Polish back in HS! Loved the sky blue color & how they had such cute 💍 rings around the tops of the bottles! Even back then, that nail polish was NOT cheap; quite the opposite, actually! Such good nostalgia, I’m glad I’m not the only one who recalls that Hard Candy used to produce high-end makeup.
I always want to like Physicians Formula, but I despise their shade range in everything. As a pro artist, there's nothing by them in their complexion coverage products that I would use.
I am side eyeing influencers who keep supporting this brand despite their lack of inclusivity.. We used to be good at calling out brands for this and now it seems OK🙄
The liquid bronzer to me works best using it under makeup like a Charlotte Tilbury one. Emily Noel used it that way so I did too and it looked really pretty
I have been loving drugstore makeup more and more lately. I used to love urban decay and too faced but now not as much. I think I enjoy brands like Milani, physicians formula and hard candy now. I still enjoy some Natasha denona eyeshadows though 🤪. Who doesn’t live to mix high and low anyways 🎉. Love your videos! I always look forward to your uploads.
I hated the highly rated mascara at first, it was so wet and got all over the place. Jen Phelps suggested wiping the brush before applying. That helped so much and I ended up really liking it. I know its an extra step but since I already have ir I'm happy to find a way to use it. I hope this helps someone who already punched it and had the same problem.
LOve your critique of the products! I am going to try the primer and the foundation. Would LOVE to see a ranking of drugstore foundations, primers, setting powders, blushes, and mascaras! There have been so many new ones and there are still a lot of oldie but goodies. Please do rankings! And I love to see drugstore dupes!
Honestly, this look is so stunning on you. It’s refreshing to see a naturally glowy look without lashes and many eyeshadows 😇🤍really emphasizes your features!
I like an affordable video from you, Morgan ❤ I wish PF (Physicians Formula would EXPAND their shade range. As a MUA, I like to have shade options for the base, and they need to do better. I am going to be checking out that Hard Candy primer. Everything looks high end!!! 🎉🎉🎉
From the drugstore, ELF, Nyx, Loreal and Milani are the only brands I have tried, but have not used those other brands, although colorpop isn't available where I live, I wish it was as the eyeshadows look really cute
The physicians formula liquid bronzer... how do u think it would be on a lighter skin tone? I saw that at my local Walmart and almost got it as well, I'm so glad to get ur opinion on that😊❤❤
I like the Elf creme eye sticks. The matte shades have a thin, blendable texture. I’m still forming an opinion about the shimmer formula. They do have an upscale feel with good pigment load.
I actually like the Milani highly rated mascara. It's the only one that doesn't smudge under my eyes. Takes a minute to dry but, so far I'll buy it again.
The Hard Candy primer and the L’Oreal True Match foundation look fantastic on you. N3 seems like a perfect shade match in the foundation. I can’t get over how beautiful it looks on your skin. Better than some high end foundations, I think!
The Hard Candy the Emily Moel inspiration just made me love you even more.. I love and use drugstore makeup but I watch you just for your personality..
Thank you Morgan for a drugstore video. I love your reviews and try on also cause you give a lot of helpful information. I was curious about the physicians formula stuff, will probably pick up the highlight and concealer as well as the L'Oreal foundation, pixi corrector, and CoverGirl gloss. I may pick up the hard candy primer but I'm hesitant cause I usually don't like their products. hope your move goes smoothly, are we going to be seeing a video on that? 🥰
Love your channel and this video featured fantastic products I was just DROOLING at. That primer…..*le sigh* it’s gorgeous! You mentioned a dupe for the famous Dior blushes everyone’s gone mad over and I think I have a very similar one (if not a bit darker so be careful on application) for the coral one. It’s in the shade Ollie Need is Love by Ofra. It’s gorgeous now for spring. Such a bright and cheerful color! Also a color that is now discontinued but you can still access it on Amazon, Delizioso Pink by Milani. This one is for the pink one. It’s also very pigmented so go easy with it. These videos are great because at least for me it inspires me to look at what I’ve got that might be similar enough to pull it off. Makeup should be fun and not an exercise in frustration trying to get EVERYTHING. I love how these videos help me achieve that.
Hello, I'm newer to your channel so when you say you love the Maybelline fit me powder are you talking about the loose the pressed or both? And the hard candy eyeshadow sticks shocked me, I got one on clearance awhile back and I LOVED IT, then got a new one and it was just like you said, idk if they changed the formula but I wish I would of bought all of them that were on clearance :/
I have extra dry skin…. I craveeee for looking sweating 🤣🤣 Definitely going to look for it. I like the L’Oréal new foundation formula. But the old shade range will always be my holygrail. With this new formula I wish they stuck to all the shade ranges just revamped the formula. Inso I can find my perfect match. The Covergirl Clean Powder I like but it made my concealer dark. Even my light concealers. I like the formula but you have to play cat & mouse with it. I agree, everything looks nice and for a full new face of drugstore… you can’t beat that.
I hot a new wet n wild highlighter in one of those tubs luke the covergirl powder u have and I had the same problem trying to get it open! It was the shade "I'm so lit" lol! If u were wondering.
my biggest realization of last year after using so many high end and affordable brand is- we, consumers dont need to spend much on makeup but more on skin care..at the end of the day no matter which foundation/primer/powder i use it will crack, crease and melt..nothing can make the face look completely flawless...moreover drugstore brands have so many varieties that we get the "best value for money" just by going to walmart. than why would i waste money on sephora! in very rare case, i find high end brands give 'value for money' in terms of quality and longitivity..so i stopped spending money on high end brands..PS; i used charlotte tulbury, patmcgrath, bite beauty, benifit, too faced, tarte, abh, bare minerals, becca, ofra, the balm, inglot, mac
Love your content! But FYI in case anyone else had this experience. I found the Covergirl Yummy gloss to be kind of gross & sticky. Not the worst gloss I've tried, but I vastly prefer the Maybelline & Essence glosses.
I want to like physicians formula but why do they have to put tons of fragrance on their products!! 😢 My allergies always makes me want to wash my face the soonest.
Same! I stop using them and went back to them. I was fine ( you really have to play cat and mouse with some of their products) Also Milani’s Mascara (Anti Gravity) and their old old school foundation use to make me swell and sneeze. I’m like how… they suppose to be Clean 😂🤷♀️🤷♀️ or most cases Fragrance Free. 🤦♀️
My favorite hard candy primer is their long wear one. It's incredible and really keeps the makeup where it belongs. Without needing to be sticky like the elf and milk ones that are typically long lasting. The hard candy feels like a traditional primer. Soft and smooth. No sticky feeling, but keeps make up in place all day. I don't use any physician formula because their ingredients break me out. Especially the coconut and all the butters. So I stay far away from that brand at all cost.
Hi Morgan! Just found your channel😃 When you said you were moving in 4 days and hadn’t started packing and didn’t have boxes, my anxiety went off the scale!!!!😱 I’m that person that the second I know I’m moving, I’m packing. Ideally a month or 2 to declutter the house and start packing immediately! I’m sitting here asking ok but did you survive? I would die if I didn’t have everything packed!!!! I hope the move went well. It takes me a while to recover from a move!!! Nice to see new makeup!!!🌺🌺🌺
I’m in the Midwest ( Snow and Rain ) … I would loveee to have light jacket weather! ( 60 degree is cool summer weather here ) 😩… It’s cold den a mfka here! We got 8 comforters on our beds. 😂😂
I hate that covergirl packaging. The lid is a pop on and off and is messy trying to get it off especially when you are clumsy like me, it gets everywhere
FYI for super pale people! Covergirl Clean Invisible Powder is NOT INVISIBLE & OXIDIZES, especially when you powder your under eye concealer. Stay away! 😩
Not gonna lie, the powder on the nose was hella distracting..I couldn't figure out if you were baking or just didn't notice it 😂 Also, Morgan chose the lilac shadow?! I was SO shocked. 🤣 Jk. Im in a snarky mood apparently haha 😆❤
Hard Candy has some winners, and they're SO affordable 🥰. Physicians Formula CONTINUES to NOT be inclusive - not sure why people are still supporting their brand...😐
Wow I don't remember that
Yes ❤ thank you
I remember going to a big mall (not local to me) purposely to find Hard Candy Nail Polish back in HS! Loved the sky blue color & how they had such cute 💍 rings around the tops of the bottles! Even back then, that nail polish was NOT cheap; quite the opposite, actually!

Agreed
I am side eyeing influencers who keep supporting this brand despite their lack of inclusivity.. We used to be good at calling out brands for this and now it seems OK🙄
And in this day and age that’s unacceptable IMO
Hard Candy years ago was only in department stores. Then it went away, and the next thing I knew they were in Walmart! I was stunned.
The liquid bronzer gave you a very natural looking glow ❤
Hard Candy is often the unsung hero, I swear. Their Glamoflauge foundation is my hands down favorite… it is good for every day and full glam!
Mine too. I wear it every day.
The liquid bronzer to me works best using it under makeup like a Charlotte Tilbury one. Emily Noel used it that way so I did too and it looked really pretty
You need to try the hard candy tinted moisturizer it’s INSANE. Literally better than high end skin tints
LOL!! "Makes my eyelashes look sad," hilarious!! I have the same lashes, so this is helpful!
I have been loving drugstore makeup more and more lately. I used to love urban decay and too faced but now not as much. I think I enjoy brands like Milani, physicians formula and hard candy now. I think your complexion looked beautiful & lux. Thank you for the affordable makeup reviews! ✨💓
Good evening, Morgan! Thank you for bringing us some affordable options 😊
Honestly, this look is so stunning on you. It’s refreshing to see a naturally glowy look without lashes and many eyeshadows 😇🤍really emphasizes your features!

Thanks for keeping it real-I managed to get a dot of mascara on my nose one day last week too! 😅😅😅
Thank you for your sacrifice with the Milani mascara 🤣🤣🤣😵💫
Can you make a vídeo only about lipglosses/líp oils ? Like all your colleccion? Top? Most used ? Empties? Please. ? Love long videos too. 😅
That Hard Candy stuff that you applied first looks stunning on your skin. So pretty.
From the drugstore, ELF, Nyx, Loreal and Milani are the only brands I have tried, but have not used those other brands, although colorpop isn't available where I live, I wish it was as the eyeshadows look really cute
That L’Oréal foundation has an amazing color range and the formula is great for everyday. I’m looking forward to trying the CG glosses.
That lip combo!!! I loveeeee both of those products. I've been wearing yummy gloss in acai you later nonstop 😍
The physicians formula liquid bronzer... how do u think it would be on a lighter skin tone? I saw that at my local Walmart and almost got it as well, I'm so glad to get ur opinion on that😊❤❤
I’m super fair and it works well for me! ❤
I like the Elf creme eye sticks. The matte shades have a thin, blendable texture. I’m still forming an opinion about the shimmer formula. They do have an upscale feel with good pigment load.
I really love the Hard Candy eyeshadow primer. It worked wonderfully well.
Long time subscriber of Emily’s channel and new to yours. Keep up the great reviews ❤
I actually like the Milani highly rated mascara. It's the only one that doesn't smudge under my eyes. Takes a minute to dry but, so far I'll buy it again.

Thanks Morgan great video review, I’m very interested in the hard candy, the bronzer and the lip glosses 💜🌻✌🏻
So excited I love these tutorials
Love the yummy cover girl glosses. I have three shades.
Edit: Hard Candy used to be in Sephora in the early 2000’s.
Can you recommend me a shade for medium light skin? I want to buy at least two glosses but i'm not sure about the shades 🥺
Would love to see all the bronzer and blush shades from colourpop hun
I really love that highly rated. Wet and Heavy Yummm but my eyelash are really curly so it games them
Can you do a full swatch and sip video for the colourpop blushes please!!! I need help choosing shades🥲❤️❤️ btw love you!!!
The Hard Candy the Emily Moel inspiration just made me love you even more.. I love and use drugstore makeup but I watch you just for your personality..
Love your videos really💕💕 are you going to try the reformulated dior skin concealer???
Good afternoon lady beautiful Morgan, love love drugstore makeup 💄 have a wonderful evening 🌸🌺
That foundation looks so good ❤
Girl, you are always gorgeous 😍 even with no makeup. Enjoy your youth 😊
Nooo keep using the milani mascara! It’s a holy grail for me!!!
I love the purple shade 💜
How do you pack your makeup especially if it gets hot in the truck? Are you worried about mold or the makeup being damaged in transit?
Thank you Morgan for a drugstore video. I love your reviews and try on also cause you give a lot of helpful information. You mentioned a dupe for the famous Dior blushes everyone’s gone mad over and I think I have a very similar one (if not a bit darker so be careful on application) for the coral one. It’s in the shade Ollie Need is Love by Ofra. It’s gorgeous now for spring. Such a bright and cheerful color! i love your 'trying new makeup' videos 💜
Use the Milani mascara after it dries out a bit. It needs to dry out, then it’s actually really good.
Hard candy is amazing. Deff a dupe for live tinted 😊

Omg girl that gave me so much anxiety that you only started packing 😧🤣😜
You look amazing. Love the look you got.
I saw that hard candy primer and was interested but didn't get it, it looks beautiful on you though so I might have to go back and get it😊😊❤❤
Hi Morgan good morning happy Tuesday morning and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
I hot a new wet n wild highlighter in one of those tubs luke the covergirl powder u have and I had the same problem trying to get it open! It was the shade "I'm so lit" lol! If u were wondering.
Morgan do a elf grip primer vs milk hydrogrip
Love from Chile Morgan 💝🇨🇱
I only watch drugstore makeup videos! Thank you.
I wanted to try that purple in the hard candy rye marker things buy my Walmart doesn't carry that shade. Ugh!

Allie Dawson and Theresa is Dead both talked about the Physicians Formula bronzers and gave them positive reviews. 😊
I love the yummy gloss
I like the gloss’s

How are you wearing cashmere in Miami 🤣🤣 Does it even get below 60 degrees 😭
When you're used to the heat, 60 can **feel** cold to us 😂
I’m in the Midwest ( Snow and Rain ) … I would loveee to have light jacket weather! ( 60 degree is cool summer weather here )

I love this 🎉
Hi Morgan and everyone 😊
Could you do a video like Angie did. Viral make up you never try
FYI for super pale people! Covergirl Clean Invisible Powder is NOT INVISIBLE & OXIDIZES, especially when you powder your under eye concealer. Stay away! 😩
Hello beautiful Morgan 😍
Good pencils for a teeny hopper you don’t want to look to made up
How is this foundation looking so good on most UA-camrs ? It looked horrible on me.
Thanks Morgan!! I still haven't found any drugstore makeup that I like other than some ok lip products. It's always nice to see you tho!!
✨💖✨
Not gonna lie, the powder on the nose was hella distracting..I couldn't figure out if you were baking or just didn't notice it 😂
Also, Morgan chose the lilac shadow?! I was SO shocked. 🤣 Jk. Im in a snarky mood apparently haha 😆❤
Pronouncing serum “surum” 😂
Very "so stink'in nice" !
Suruhm. Suruhm oil. Not serum, suruhm. 😅 (No hate, not making fun of you, I think the accent is cute) ❤
Those eyeshadow sticks are for teens.
That PF Bronzer is garbage. Too much glitter.
Hard Candy has some winners, and they're SO affordable 🥰. Physicians Formula CONTINUES to NOT be inclusive - not sure why people are still supporting their brand...😐
