I think all of us makeup lovers need to take a step back and look at our pml collection and ask ourselves “do we love this palette or is it just one (sometimes two shades) in the palette that we love”. That simple question would help a lot of people from maybe buying more palettes from pml for that 1 shade that is standing out from us in whatever launch pml is coming out with. And that would also hopefully help the pml brand with their products.

I love revisiting all of my motherships, quads, 6 pans. Holiday releases are when she goes against her normal scope of colors/palettes. Idk if I could ever get rid of any of my pat shadows. 😅

I’m a total cool-toned color person so Mothership 1 and 9 would be my jam. I thought about Mothership 10(Moonlit Seduction) but there are similar matte shades in MS 1(Subliminal).
I have decluttered a few of her quads but kept the Divine Rose 1, Subliminal and Moonlight Seduction Motherships and both holiday quints and honestly can’t see buying another PM palette any time soon. In the minority, but I don’t like her mattes at all so I always end up reaching for my Viseart mattes when I use her palettes and my shimmer bases are covered.
I about spit out my drink in disbelief when this popped up! No way could I imagine this was reality lol. I did declutter both divine rose mother ships but I still sometimes regret the divine rose 1 and might pick it up again when she has a 40% off sale.

I would nevvvvvver declutter my decadence palette. Every time I use Pat Mcgrath I pull out two palettes. Decadence is always the second palette. It's the companion palette to all her palettes.
If I decluttered Pat I would keep all Motherships ( including latest X Moonlit Seduction which also has no special shades), 3 Mega palettes, and Nocturnal Nirvana quad

I love it and wear it so much. I used to go between midnight Sun and divine rose 2 the most by far, and although I still wear them a lot, I think moonlit seduction has beaten them all. Moonlit seduction is hands down my most used PML palette. I love every look so much. Congrats on 200k btw!!

Hi, so, I don't understand the point of a having a "hypothetical" declutter of a certain brand. The declutter videos, I get those, but what's the doing of a hypothetical one.
It feels like you actually would want to rethink your purchases from a particular brand and you wouldn't buy everything if you had a second chance. That's why i don't like consumerism because people hoard everything and tend to fall in some kind of brands "fever". If you had to be completely honest you will need 1 or 2 palettes maximum! I

I'm a hundred percent addicted to makeup. I feel like I need to declutter my collection but I feel bad for de-cluttering it because I have no one to give it to and it's used so I can't donate it. And I don't want to just throw it away but there are so many items I have in my collection that I no longer use anymore. Should I just bite the bullet and throw it away even though I feel like I'm wasting?
Same here… you can put your declutter make in a container and store it somewhere and after 6 months or so, if you forgot about them and didn’t really care or missed them then throw them away…
I don't know I've been seeing Pat McGrath stuff at TJ Maxx and Marshall's.. I just got the Venusian Nude highlighter from holiday of last year for $16.99. They also had the colorful holiday palette for $29.99. I don't like that though, it kinda takes away from the whole "special" factor of buying Pat McGrath makeup..
