This was my 1st +10 somber weapon and given the rarity of the ancient somber stones i regretted it. Still, it is my favorite weapon regarding appearance and I am happy to see it get some recognition! I might revisit it in the future. It is also worth mentioning that it pairs good with Dark Moon Greatsword.
They ain't that rare. You get like 5 or 6 of them by the end of the game, so you can technically max out 6 special/boss weapons on your first playthrough.
You get 8 per play through. NG+1 to NG+3/4 are pretty easy to push through to collect more/second weapons, as the scaling doesn't really ramp up noticeably until late NG+4 and beyond.
It's my favorite weapon second only to flamberge. Third is Death's Poker. Deaths Poker is the int Greatsword L2 king. Helphen's Steeple is the Greatsword R1+R2 king. OP in tandem with one another.
Literally every weapon in the game is good, including freaking throwing knives when you pair them with the two buffs everyone always uses. Golden Vow and Flame, Grant me strength.
idk what you mean by that, i mean i fought placidusax and fire giant who both have high HP, not to mention regal ancestor spirit and fortissax who just love to run off every second.
I tried very hard to make this weapon "good", but ultimately it felt like I had to buff constantly to keep it that way. I even did a Shield/Counter build with it to see if that would help and it just felt mediocre at best. Hopefully it gets more love in the upcoming DLC.

i simply like this weapon because its cool lmao
This sword feels like sword of Milos brother
It's good that there are people who use this weapon as well. But I think his timing made the clip too long.

What were the stats for this build?
This weapon is overrated but has plenty of consistency, maybe if it had cold damage by default.
