Amazing drum cover, lots of cool details. Massive congrats. Subbed. One thing I'm not sure about is the snare for this song I think a more "slap" snare would sound better than the 'hollowly' sound this particular snare has, if you get what I mean. Mind-blowing nevertheless.

that song sounds the same from start to finish. as for him not being able to do it, Hélder, I doubt he'd have any issues.
Well I agree that the song is repetitive and I actually never really liked it. But from a pure technical standpoint it's regarded as one of the most difficult ones. I don't doubt Josh could do a good job, but it would hardly go "without issues" as you say.
The original drummer Thomas Haake still has trouble to this day playing this song and it's been said that he practiced more to that one in particular than to all the rest of the album when they were recording it.
I've seen some drummers play it here on UA-cam, but are usually drummers that go for more technical stuff, not so much Metallica, Slayer, etc. like Josh does in his channel. But again, I think if he would put the time to it the result could be sick!
Fair enough, I'm not a drummer, so I shouldn't say what is and isn't possible. Portnoy is no slouch, though, and Josh's Dream Theater medley is quite awesome if you haven't listened to it.
For me, I'd listen to the drums only. Just can't get that style of music. Musicians are incredible, but the voice is so annoying.
