    Thanks so much for this video! Great in depth review. I was tossing up between this and the Bugaboo Butterfly. But after testing both over two seperate occasions - Minu V2 was the choice! Can't wait until it arrives. This video helped make my decision as well. Thanks again.

    Another added feature that I saw on another youtube review was that uppababy have upgraded their carseat/bassinet adaptors to fold down with the stroller so that they don't need to be removed each time the stroller needs to be collapsed down which can be a huge pain point.

    We ended up getting the Minu v2 over the butterfly. Our rationale was that we aren't likely to fly with it and we do use it over broken sidewalks and other places where the wheels and suspension seemed a better fit. We also preferred the canopy with the option to cover the mesh. I had some issues with the canopy not staying extended but I reinstalled it and its working fine now. Overall I'm super happy with the stroller, just hoping that it stays comfortable for my little guy as he gets taller, as the seat back is quite short.

      He says useable up to 3.5 to 4 years old which is actually pretty old for *any* stroller - do you disagree with this then?
      It's also cheaper compared to the butterfly including belly bar.

      @@benyaminewanganyahu i think it will depend on the size/height of the kid really. Its a sturdy stroller so the weight won't be an issue

      @@mI6sanand i really like it. It feels sturdy, like it really could be your everyday stroller in the right environment. I haven't tried to use it in the Canadian winter snow, I have the Ridge for that!

    Thanks for the reviews, very helpfull, now able to short list two different models : minu v2 and nuna triv next but still cannot decide which of the two is the best option considering the minu is way more compact and the triv next more versatile. Any advice ?

    Hi - just got the V2 after using our Orginal Minu for many years and loving it.
    I was about to install a seat liner and noticed that straps don’t seem to open. Is that correct? That’s a concern because in winter, we’d also want to install a foot muff… is that truly not possible? Thanks!

    Love this review, thank you! Would you compare this to the Bugaboo Butterfly? And specifically could you look at if they're actually usable/comfortable for older/taller children, because a criticism I've read of the Minu is that it is not.

      My nearly 4yo is still pretty comfy in the minu (we have V1) but I haven’t tried him in a butterfly. He’s about average height/ slightly above average but a little more lanky than broad so maybe it would be different with a different body shape but he still seems to have a fair bit of room width wise as well

      @eaglezero78 Рік тому

      @@beth4212 Thanks! That's good to know. I worry because my husband is verrrrry tall and I've seen class pics of him from childhood, where he was a good head above the other children, lol!

    • @beth4212
      @beth4212 Рік тому

      @@eaglezero78 the minu has heaps of room above the head. Legs may be more of an issue if the kid is super tall but the canopy is very high up. I could see myself taking a 6yo in it for a trip where their legs may get tired. I have seen the butterfly in person and chatted to the owner of one and it looks a little smaller especially width wise but I’m not sure height wise.

    No mention of the fact that the seat back is only supported by the strap, and shifts when the rider leans forward? This was a dealbreaker for me.

      Yes, we bought this pram thinking it would be suitable from 6 months onwards. Unfortunately, the seat is completely unstructured and sinks in when our baby sits in it (9mo old). Baby is always slumped over and it looks very uncomfortable. The label on the side of the pram actually states it should be not used 'stroller mode' until baby is at least 10 months old but the Uppababy website states it is suitable from 3 months of age! Completely misleading advertising and very disappointing especially as the pram is not cheap. It is disappointing that most reviews don't even mention the terrible seat.
