In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' on our Patreon page (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access it here: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864 As an independent, consumer-oriented reviewer, we have fewer revenue-streams open to us than the majority of other channels out there, so we do ask for a small donation for access to this guide (as well as a free consultation and access to our other Patreon content). Thanks so much for your help!
Great review! I've learned so much about strollers by watching your videos, the lady helping us at the store jokingly asked us if I was from the competition.
I just bought this stroller, I absolutely love it. I also love the fact the re-sell value of the Cruz will increase significantly with the upgrade. It’s basically the vista without the double abilities!
Hi everybody, There's been a lot of talk lately about 'Greenwashing,' which is the process by which businesses promote their products as 'sustainable', 'eco-friendly' and so on, while in actual fact, their manufacturing processes and business models clearly show this to be nothing more than a marketing ploy. As soon as I heard about this concept (and even that several major companies have been penalized for it), I realized that this practice really defines the approach of virtually every major manufacturer in the stroller industry. If you'd be interested in reading more about this, please check out our article: 'Rampant Greenwashing in the Stroller Industry,' here: www.patreon.com/posts/rampant-in-38755846
J'ai utilisé cette poussette j'avais oublié l'habillage pluie et bien elle en ai ressorti niquel la qualité des tissus est fantastique. Le panier spacieux et la maniabilité au top 👍😀
Thanks for a great review! Sadly we’re all set on the stroller front but others in the family are expecting, so I’m itching to help them pick a stroller. Putting this on the shortlist for sure.
Hi! Thank you for the video. I am considering the Cruz V2 or the Nuna Mixx next, which one do you feel is better on rough terrain or uneven sidewalks? Thank you!
I am also torn between the Nuna Mixx Next and Uppababy Cruz v2. I like the compact fold and the suspension on the Nuna, but Cruz seems to be a better choice in terms of seat size and comfort for the child
@@henasyed I did TONS of research on this. I read way more bad reviews on the Mixx Next than the Cruz - squeaking and the discomfort of the seat for the toddler - thats it's very shallow and small and not comfy or supportive. There is basically no support under it. I loved the look of the Mixx Next but I thought the Cruz was more practical and better reviews.
@BarnevognverkstedNo The handlebar makes a clicking noise no matter what setting it is on and never securely locks into position. So it rattles a little when you pull on it. Is it a general problem or only the one I have this problem? Thanks.
I am considering a Cruz V2 for baby number 3. We have a large age gap so we don’t need a double capable option, we just need a huge basket to fit my older kids school bags in for walks to school - would these fit? Is there a pram with a bigger basket? Thanks 😊
How is Cruz compared to Vista on a rougher terrain? As the Vista has 4 wheel suspension and larger wheels is it much better/smoother on a rougher terrain or Cruz is still ok? I am not talking about dirt, mud hilly terrain, more like rougher cobble, bumpy areas with small tree branches on the ground, raised floor tiles etc.
Thank you for a very informative review! I'm planning on using the Cruz with a Clek Liing car seat and wondering if you have any thoughts on whether the Uppababy adapter or the Clek adapter is better (e.g., more stable, easier to dock/release the car seat, etc.)
Thank you for your reviews, they have been incredibly helpful. Do you have somewhere a review on the nuna mixx? Its a little cheaper than the uppababy but I would love to know if it as durable and sturdy as the uppababy or if it is more on the stokke beat side in terms of structure. Thank you!!
We haven't done any Nuna reviews yet unfortunately, but we plan to later in the year (it's a matter of ordering from abroad for us). From what I've seen online, it's more in the middle, a bit more like Joolz than Uppababy, but not quite as well engineered. Can't say for sure before I see their models in reality though, of course. If you're looking for a stroller right now, and would like some in-depth help, check out our guide on Patreon. :)
I am considering to buy this stroller since I need a smaller stroller then Stokke Trailz as Stokke takes up the whole trunk. However, I have not been able to see it. Do you think Uppababy cruz 2 would be a good idea?
Hi I've been watching your reviews for quite a while and all the information has been really helpful so a big thank you. Recently we've come across the iCandy Peach stroller which seems to have excellent reviews. But I just wondered if you would ever review this product. I'd really like to see your review since your reviews are the most impartial ones I've seen. Thanks. Please keep the good work!
Thanks, glad you like our videos :) I haven't seen any recent versions of the Peach, but we had a few in the workshop several years ago, and I wasn't much of a fan. They don't sell it here in Norway anymore as far as I know, but if we get ahold of one in the future, we'd be happy to make a review :)
Hi, Thank you for great review! It helped me a lot to understand this stroller :) Would you recommend this cruz rather than Bugaboo Fox or Stokke trailz?
Hi team TSW! Your reviews are SO great. I was set on the Uppababy Cruz V2 but then I saw your review of the Joolz Hub+ which seems so awesome. I was wondering which one you'd recommend -- Cruz or the Hub+. I live in a city and often use the stroller on non-even terrain plus parks, we take public transport all the time, and don't drive but use Ubers. Currently using a Doona but our baby is now a year old and going to outgrow it soon. I'd be amazed if you see this message but would love your take. THANK YOU!
Thanks for the vid. After much back and forth, I ended having two strollers left standing: UppaBaby Cruz V2 vs Stokke Trailz.. Both would probably do the job as well as the other, but I went for the Cruz V2 because of the design and the updated shock absorption.
7cm. Total length 109cm (Seatback to canopy + backboard + baseboard + leg-rest). Took these measurements myself with a measuring tape, so could always be off by 1-2cm. :)
What I was calling Cadillac strollers have mostly disappeared as their own class (models like the Bugaboo Buffalo and the Stokke Trailz for example), basically large-sized four wheelers that are not built big just for a tandem function, but rather for a larger seat and basket and better terrain capability. Some tandem models are still like this if used as 1-child models (Uppababy Vista V2, Emmaljunga NXT90), but most tandems are shrinking down the main seat and front wheels these days (and stretching out the chassis), in order to accomodate for better 2-child configurations. :)
Cybex Priam (used) vs Cruz V2? We have the Cloud Q car seat and will mostly be used on sidewalks with the occasional grassy park. Have a full size SUV so size isn’t really an issue. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
I would love to hear your opinion on the uppa baby vista, orbit baby g5, and in general strollers that go from single to double like the vista, city select, and which are you top picks. You know what you're talking about and I never thought to hear stroller reviews from a stroller mechanic. (I myself am a stroller guru and have my top picks but hearing from a mechanic is very cool!)
I have the city mini gt2 and the basket is a huge con. Good for a suburb but very bulky when I took it to Manhattan and now I’m looking into the uppababy Cruz v2 lol
This stroller is terrible. I’ve bought it based off of this recommendation and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The folding mechanism is weak, the latch that holds it in place when folded broke on me. The plastic clips that connect the stroller frame to the seat/car seat broke in half clean when small amount of pressure was applied to it putting into my trunk causing me to get it replaced by warranty. The entire warranty experience was terrible as they’ve tried to find ways to not fulfil it. Overall, highly disappointed in this expensive stroller quality and after service. Would not recommend this stroller or brand and I’ll be looking to replace it with something else next year.
Yes I really dislike this stroller as well! You’re better off getting a cheaper one like a chicco (better quality and more convenient) it’s a struggle getting this stroller in and out the car

Could you do a review on the Chicco corso LE modular stroller?! I can’t find any good reviews on it :(
That's the one I have the eye on, but there's no real reviews on it, I'm due January 2023 so I still have plenty of time to wait and search.

Thanks for this review! How does it handle curbs and snow?
It handles curbs great. With snow it always depends on how much, but 2-3 inches won't be a problem in any case :)
@@BarnevognverkstedNo Thanks a lot! We had a B-agile and it was a nightmare lifting it up even over lower curbs.
