- Today is the long awaited update on me and my wife’s IVF / pregnancy journey
We are in the middle of preparations for a new born baby,
And update on how Stacey is doing and how baby is doing.
As well as decorating the house with a big reveal at the end of the video
So happy for the update. The house looks clean and fresh but most importantly, Stacy and the baby are fine. You guys are going to be fantastic parents!

I am a registered nurse that works in the neonatal ICU, in a large teaching hospital here in the U.S. Don't take this condition lightly - Pre-eclampsia is a very serious condition and often causes low birth weight babies and the mother to be delivered early. This means an underweight premature baby which often causes issues. This advice is given with kindness and love so please rest as much as you can. I will be praying for you.❤
Yes, I had pre-eclampsia with my pregnancies. Do follow your Dr's advice , rest often, and take care of yourself. Both my children were premature but are doing great now.

I just retired as a neonatal ICU nurse. My daughter-in-law had an IVF pregnancy with hypertension that went to pre-eclampsia then to HELLP syndrome. (A complication of pre-eclampsia). Please follow your doctor’s advice and do not miss appointments. Daughter -in-law had to deliver the baby by c-section early for the safety of both mom and baby.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Positivity. My wife had pre-eclampsia and both kids (23 & 25) are great people who were, and are, healthy and successful in life. Nothing better, or tear producing, than holding your youngster the first time.
Stacy- I had pre eclampsia, too, and had to take it very easy through late pregnancy. It was scary, but everything worked out fine . My daughter is now 47. It’s very natural to be worried, but things have improved so much since my day. Back then , they just checked your blood pressure and your urine for protein. Everything else was just guesswork. Now, you are aware of even slight changes that might be a cause for concern. Having been there myself, I really feel for you. But you are young and healthy, have good healthcare, and a supportive husband to help you. I’m sure everything will be fine.
Oh, and about the baby’s size- my daughter also had growth scans, bc my granddaughter measured small. But she and her husband are small people, and I told her “ remember, sparrows don’t give birth to eagles”.
My story too! My daughter turned 48 yesterday! The pre-eclampsia first showed up when I was carrying her big brother -- he's now 51. He was 'big' for a newborn in our family, but my girl was tiny at birth. She's now as tall as her Dad but taller by inches than I.☺
Lots of work, but so worth doing. Glad to see Stacy following Doctor's orders - she must take it steady, not much longer to go now, so not the time for heroics - must be a relief to know Sean is so supportive and is well able to take care of things, while Stacy looks after herself and Baby. Take care of each other, and looking forward to welcoming your Baby.
I love gender surprises, wishing you a relaxing end of pregnancy. Get your feet up and have Sean pamper you, you're precious and you're a precious vessel to a little one. Lots of love!

The last few weeks are the hardest, but it's all forgotten when you have your beautiful new baby in your arms. The paint job looks great, I love the color!

Thanks for the update! The living room looks cozy and bright, and it's great to hear that Stacy and the Sprout are doing well. I think "Pregnancy isn't easy" might win the prize for Understatement of the Year! :) Will remember all of you in prayer and will look forward to the happy news. Not long until you can hold that little gal/guy in your arms, and won't that be wonderful.

No pregnancy is easy, and you will forget all of the issues when you have your baby in your arms. I have a feeling it’s a boy. Just be patient and don’t worry ❤.

Stacey, it's good you and baby are being monitored. Having your first baby can be very worrying at times, i always say listen to your body and follow your gut feeling, if it dosnt feel right seek attention. My daughter had the same as you with 2 of hers, and both arrived safe and well after a c section thanks to the monitoring. the appointments are hard when you live rural and have a demanding job like Sean has, but once you have your little bundle of joy, it's all worth it 😊. Sean seems a very supportive hubby, and I wish you all the very best. Your home looks beautiful and fresh, ready for the little one. Lots of love to you 3.

So happy for you and Stacey. Pregnancy is always an adventure. Rib kicking seems to be a favourite pastime of babies as they grow and stretch. I so remember those kicks…since I had 9 pound babies. Amidst the crime and war and hateful spirit we are living with in these time you are such a refreshment ……..absolute affirmations of the beauty of love, hard work, nature and God’s love. Pregnancy is life changing and I’m sure you two will have a successful delivery and healthy child. 🙏🥰

I had preeclampsia! Both times! Just do what the docs say and you'll be fine! I laughed so hard when you said the baby is kicking you in the ribs. Both of mine did as well! Fast forward about 10 years. I had to have a surgery and I asked the surgeon to look at the ribs and see if there was a note on them saying to "kick Mom here..." He assured me after I woke up that there was no etched note on my rib cage. HAHAHA! Hang in there! You will get through it! Sending you love and hugs!
I'm so very happy I've got tears. Ribs? My child would dance on my bladder, lol rest as much as possible sweetheart cause this will be it for the next rest of your lives folks, mine are 51, 52 and 53. I'm still up in their business ❤ (9 grand babies, 2 great grand babies., theirs too) It's a wonderful adventure your about to take just remember to bend your knees and look up for help❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I was wondering how everything was going wishing you both nothing but the best hoping the baby comes in the world nice and healthy and your wife is fine after the pregnancy. Please keep us updated love I love watching your family grow and you with your dogs and the sheep I look forward to each and every post.
For my first born I developed pre eclampsia and was put on bed rest (at home) and had to lay down on my left side. Everything turned out fine and my daughter was 6lb 12 oz and just turned 29 a few days ago! Take care and listen to your doctor's advice! Best wishes.
You are a very hard worker Sean and have a lot of love for your wife, your dogs, and the farm animals! I have a lot of respect for you. You are both so lucky to have each other.

Whatever the content of the video, the story is always the same, what intelligent and decent people you are, Sean and Stacy, and what a beautiful life you have created for yourselves, the baby, and not to leave out Kate, Echo, Storm and Monty. I live in the US, which is at this time a very fractious and sometimes scary place to be. Not only do Iearn about farming and herding and collies from your sharing, but I get a chance to see someplace in the world that seems beautiful and peaceful and happy. Thank you.

So relieved, after not seeing or hearing about Stacy for so long. You're looking good, Stacy. I "showed signs of pre-eclampsia" when pregnant with my first child. The doctor just made me lie in bed on my left side for a month. I was allowed to get up briefly to eat or do other necessary things. My baby was fine and healthy, and she's my darling adult daughter now, and has always been one of my best friends.
We are all pulling for you. Your house looks charming and inviting for the new little one. Thanks for the update.

I developed preeclampsia with both of my babies. They are both mid thirties now and happy and healthy, even with them both being premature and only about 4 1/2 lbs when they were born. (Sorry, I’m not sure what that would be in metric, but maybe 6-8 lbs is normal/average?) If your baby is premature, watch for signs of postpartum depression about 4-6 weeks after the birth. Your hormones can be very thrown off by both the effects of the preeclampsia itself as well as from being unbalanced by the early end of the pregnancy. I experienced it twice, but if you know what and why it’s happening, it’s a little easier to deal with.

One of the disadvantages of living in the beautiful, peaceful country is being a bit far from hospital/doctors, as I well know.
