Larry. You have no right to tell someone when to vote. It’s an American right to vote on Nov 5. Early voting should not come into it. Many voters vote on Election Day, period!
Larry McReynolds is wrong. Our number one Civic duty is voting and if you wanna do it on the day of the election that is your right nobody should be penalized financially on another note. I don’t know who he voted for but he still has the right to vote when he wants.
Phelps is the same person who reprimanded me for arguing about NASCAR during the BLM riots saying don't you think there are more important things to worry about than NASCAR right now. I replied, we come here to get away from what's going on in the country and you of all people should be happy we are this passionate about NASCAR! Crickets... So then he fines a driver for wanting to vote in person especially with what's going on in this country with mail in voting!
I don't get why they throw the caution at the end of the stages. It changes all of the pit road strategies of the old days. They just have to worry about getting to the end of the stage now. Tell the teams the stage points will be awarded to the top 10 cars at which ever laps but keep it green. You will still have drivers trying to earn stage points and still keep the pit road strategies a part of the race.
Quit calling them playoffs ... when you allow competitors not in the playoffs to compete. Also, win ONE race and you're in the "playoffs" ... win ONE race and you advance regardless of how you do in the other two races ... is head shaking. Imagine making the NFL playoffs by winning ONE game. These aren't playoffs. This is my first year of really caring about NASCAR, and this end of season 10 race format is messed up and has me not caring about NASCAR anymore.
Looks like you have your own dictionary. I've been in NASCAR since 1951 and I am very pleased with the Format which has made NASCAR more exciting than ever. Throw that dictionary away and enjpy pure good old fashing racing.
Bootie Barker is being scapegoated, he's absolutely not the reason for the poor performance of the 23.. When the 23 underperforms again next year then what?
Sirius/XM Dave Moody thinks Booty asked for this year to be his last. Bubba ranks 18 out of 40 drivers. Better than Chastain, Busch, Dillon and 19 others. You just have an hard on against Bubba. Get over it. He;s still to stay.
Only NASCAR would do something as dumb as that, fine someone for missing a media event that they should have moved anyway because of VOTING DAY. NASCAR should be fined for that.
It's getting close to the end of the season an the 23IX lawsuit so Nascar needs some money. I don't care who you are but fining someone for exercising their national right to in-person voting is a CHEAP SHOT! But it doesn't surprise me Nascar would pull this crap.
In Alabama there is no early voting you can get an absentee ballad of request it like a month in advance but other than that you can only vote in person the day of in Alabama
The playoffs suck. The majority of fans hate it. (Obviously thats my opinion, and its anecdotal) If they think Martinsville was the only instance of race manipulation, they are high on their own supply. No officiating issue? How many times has elton had to explain Sunday, on Monday? Finally, the dvp SUCKS.

Larry Mac you missed the mark on your voting comment. You gotta stop kissing nascars ass and stand up for things you believe in,,,like voting in person
Larry shouldn’t have commented on this subject being that NASCAR owns the Sirius XM channel that Larry broadcasts from 3 hours a day your not gonna hear him go against the people that sign his checks very often. Why NASCAR would’ve had anything planned on Tuesday is beyond ridiculous, but that’s par for the course with NASCAR. I really like Larry’s opinion on racing but this subject was a black flag for him either way he went.
Phelps saying “these four drivers deserve to be here, full-stop” is cute and all, but does anyone who watches the sport actually think he knows racing? He just seems like some guy who was hired as an executive and supposedly knows business, but I’ve never heard him sound like a racer or race fan. I’m guessing everyone in that room or watching the video knows at least as much if not more than he does about racing. He’s much more a part of the problem with NASCAR than he is an answer.
Super tired of these NASCAR officials saying they all knew the format. NO driver would accept this without NASCAR's monopoly and them telling the drivers tough Sh*t if you don't like it. No way in h3ll the drivers would vote for this system. NO WAY. Byron is the only one of the 4 that deserves to be there but Chevy cheated to get him there so even he doesn't deserve to be in the final 4.
Of course NASCAR has officiating problems. NASCAR has made fools of themselves. 2 of the 4 drivers in the playoffs are in via controversy. The worst example is 2 non-chase drivers penalized for manipulating the race by not passing Byrum and blocking so other drivers could not pass Byrum. Why was Byrum and his team not penalized? Don't you think his team was involved? They probably requested the help. Not to mention the green flag followed immediately by yellow before the cars hot to turn 1. Should have never gone green at all. The least NASCAR should have done was reset the field. Lastly, Bell rode the wall but didn't pass anyone in doing so. That's a big difference compared to what Chastain did when he rode the wall.
In 2013 we had “spin gate” which caused Truex a bid for the playoffs. Last Sunday I understand CBells penalty, but 1 Toyota driver and not 1 but 2 Chevrolet drivers all manipulated the outcome of the race. 2 penalties on Toyota and 2 on Chevrolet. Why in the Hell didn’t NASCAR do what it did in 2013? It’s in the rule book that drivers can not manipulate the outcome of a race and all drivers must go 100 percent of their capability. I’m a Truex fan and I like the 20 & 24 drivers but why wasn’t this rule implemented giving the 5 the spot and disqualifying the both the 20 & 24 cars? NASCAR had proof of the situation. This whole season was a complete disaster!
@ The same thing Truex did in 2013… nothing! Just because Clint Boyer purposely spun out so Truex could gain a position and yes they were both Toyotas.. is no different than what the 24 cars ( Chevrolet ) team mates did to manipulate the outcome of the race by blocking for him when they had fresher tires and caught him easily and could have passed him easily but held up Brad so he couldn’t pass the 24 to loose a point. It is what it is lol I have no beef with the 24 at all but NASCAR chooses what rule they want to implement. All my buddies are die hard Hendrick fans and they all agreed that NASCAR should have done the same thing to the 24 like they did Truex 11 years ago. There is no difference whatsoever! But hey I love racing but I just don’t understand why NASCAR does stupid things like they did all season long! But that’s just my take of what I saw. But the 24 did nothing wrong at all just like Truex did nothing wrong at is what I’m getting at.
Everyone has a right to vote, ON ELECTION DAY, if they choose. Its UnAmerican to fine him because of it. As far as the comments from Odonnell, and the France lacky….I’m done with Nascar, been a longtime fan. But Nascar is going woke, and thats how you go broke. To respond to peoples complaints the way they did shows an arrogance not seen before. The new car sucks, yet if it was about safety, Xfinity still races the old cars. Out and done with Nascar.
I got your back, Ty. We all do. I've voted early for two decades. The early voting places are usually open for 2 or 3 weeks, I zip in, get my ballot, and I'm out of there real quick. I've never had to wait. As far as the punch, isn't that part of what draws fans in? And you mean to tell me NASCAR doesn't want these confrontations? No, they absolutely do. Crashes and punches, and pissed off drivers and cheatin' is all part of what I love. I remember the time I think it was Michael Waltrip got busted with jet fuel in his fuel cell. Laughed my ass off. To me, it's such a turn off to hear NASCAR's heavy hand after every race. Shut up already! Just sitting here watching a bunch of Xfinity cars oil up their tires before slamming the wall in practice. What bad luck for Allgaier. His Phoenix car is done, and it was clearly one of the quickest cars on the track. Eee haw! Championship weekend! Ford swept all 3 top tiers last year.
