Thanks for posting this video! It was so charming. I have a rolling walker, but as with the style that the performers were using, it helps me get around a lot better, and has made walking almost fun again. I traded up from 2 quad canes with offset handles. I still use those in tight spaces, but walking with my canes isn't really comfortable. I much prefer my rolling walker. It was so nice watching these people perform. Granted, their moves were scaled down to accommodate their mobility issues, but it was still stylish, entertaining, and still counts as gentle exercise. When I was younger I was fond of walking, hiking, and biking. 2 bad knees, among other health issues have side lined me. Thanks to my canes, and later on my rolling walker, I am able to get around better now. When I use my walker it feels almost like regular walking again, as I picked the right model for my needs. I don't get that feeling with my canes, but both mobility aids have been a big help for me. Sometimes when I'm roll walking along I'll have a tune going in my head and will move somewhat like dancing in place, but not as much as these performers did. Because my rolling walker makes walking so much better I am able to get into the mood to play around with music a little bit while using it. A mobility aid that makes it easier to move, and also makes you feel better while moving is a treasure, 🤗 but then you guys already know that.😀
This brings back memories of the PBS show "Sit and Be Fit" -- it usually came on during the lunch hour and we cool cats would watch it in the break room at our office. Mary Ann Wilson was a bonafide celeb in our group.
Love this! Recently I broke my knee and wrist! Now I’ve developed balance issues! So my walker is greatly needed via now! But I love to dance sooo this is a option!! WTG lovely lively ladies! 👍🏻❣️🙏
