This isn't exactly on topic, but I thought you might get a kick out of it.
One of our local talk radio affiliates aired a commercial for Total Wine yesterday. In the commercial, it is stated that Total Wine can ship wine and spirits to all states except Virginia and North Carolina. That was news to me. So I visited the Total Wine website and learned that, not only do they not ship spirits to Alabama, they can't even ship wine here. All you can order from them for delivery in Alabama is "accessories": glasses, decanters, perhaps mixers, etc. Disappointing, but not surprising.
Also to any other whisk(e)y fans here in Alabama, I think you only have a few days left to register for the June Quarterly Allocation Lottery. Get them entries in!

I've picked up some really good bottles from Costco here in Vegas. Old Forester Single Barrel store pick, Knob Creek 12, Old Forester 1920, Noahs Mill, Rare Breed, and plenty others, always for really good prices too. Also, if you ever see a Kirkland Single Barrel, I recommend picking that one up, I buy a couple of those when I see them.
