McGee's Reel with David Greely

I hadn't met up with David for many years, and we had a really nice reunion at the Acadia Trad School in Bar Harbor, Maine this past July. We were both sporting new fiddles (David bought his there!), we played a little in the beautiful weather while Jon Cooper worked on fiddles close by. Neither of us was sure of the title of this Dennis McGee tune, but pretty sure it’s McGee’s Reel.

It was listed as Reel Cajun on the 78 he recorded it on with Ernest Fruge.

There are other versions of other tunes called McGee's Reel, but this is quite a nice tune!
