The thumbnail of that video shows the leaves of the Amelanchier Lamarckii (Juneberry). They looked very special that year.
Fall Colors. Autumn Colours. I actually didn't plan to make a video that day but when I came to the garden the leaves have turned yellow and red and I had to make this video. I wanted to test a new microphone that blocks the noise from the background. It didn't work, it was enhancing the noise. I was thinking to make the same video again three days later but when I came to the garden and it looked so different. Some of the leaves were already on the ground. Voice over would have been a possibility. My husband had another idea with one of his logic programs that are supposed to reduce the background noise. It worked and now you can see the video.
The colours are amazing. Look at the red leaves and twigs of the dogwood, the yellow leaves of the walnut tree, the pear tree and the grapevines. The orange leaves of the nectarine tree are absolutely stunning. I bet fashion designers get their ideas from nature. Enjoy the colours and have a nice week ahead.

Hi. We are finally enjoying some beautiful weather again, too. You are right, there is so much work needed to be done, and the kids just left today, so I am going to try to do as much as I can before it gets cold again. Your pumpkins are beautiful! Those raccoons can destroy a harvest in a few days! The green amaranth might have come from the red ones. We call the green ones callaloo, but they are the same, just different colors. Your garden, other than the raccoons, is doing beautiful! Enjoy it and take care.

The Red Admiral on the pumpkin was so beautiful. Love the Asters too and Marigolds. Love the colours on that little tree.
I don't feel like harvesting those pumpkins as long as the Red Admiral likes to sit there. Those butterflies should have been going down to south of Europe already. The butterfly is cute and camouflaging well with the pumpkin :). You still have plenty of beautiful flowers, the asters are beautiful and the leaves are changing colours very fast.

Your neighbors hydrangeas look like the limelight variety, it’s a good one to have in any garden, easy to maintain and beautiful most of the year.

I don’t know if I’d keep gardening if I had to ride 50km to get to my garden 😅
It's 15 km one way. We didn't think that we would be able to do it but during the time when we were not supposed to use public transport we started to go by bike. We really like it now 🚴🏻♀️🚴🏾
