Garden Tour (formerly: Garden Tour // Auf Tour im Garten)
We found a garden in Berlin. Now we try to create a little paradise for birds, bees, hedgehogs and butterflies and we want to plant as much as we can to be self sufficient. We're doing everything on a budget. We're still trying to save some money to get better equipment. It would be nice to get some close ups with a better camera and a microphone that blocks the noise from the street.

The squirrels are throwing the hazelnuts back into the basket as if they want to tell me that they prefer walnuts :) #Eichhörnchen süß und stark. Now is the time to collect leaves for your garden especially when you're gardening on a budget. You can add it to your soil, protect your plants in winter or make soil out of it for planting your seedlings in spring the so called leafmould. That's not a nice word but what comes out is great.

In our garden we grow many plants that normally don't grow in our hardiness zone. We used to be 7a now we're 8a. In winter those plants need special protection from the frost. It's cold outside and the squirrels are hungry and looking for food. The crow is always following them because they know when the squirrels eat nuts there will be something left for them. There is another squirrel in the tree you can see it if you watch until the end. It's hiding in the ivy and then climbing up the tree.
