It would actually make sense if kratos met a knight (if not counting on time continuity) walking to Scandinavia because he would probably cross trough Germany one of the places with a lot of knights trough history

God of War tem a série principal e os spin offs. A série principal é o GoW original, GoW 2, GoW 3, GoW (o de 2018, que é chamado só de God of War,mas que devia ser chamado God of War 4,porque ele é o 4° da série principal) e GoW Ragnarok. Além disso existem os spin offs, GoW Chains of Olympus, GoW Ghost of Sparta e GoW Ascencion. Os spin off são canônicos é claro, mas eles basicamente exploram momentos importantes da história que acontecem fora da série principal (Ascencion e CoO antes do 1, GoS entre o 1 e o 2). Eu particularmente adoraria se eles fizessem um outro spin off que se passa antes do GoW 4, mostrando como ele chegou na Escandinávia e como ele conheceu a Faye.

I think it was stated somewhere that after Becoming the new God of War, Kratos also had access to all Ares' weapons, including the Blades of Chaos, which he took with him when he left for Scandinavia
After killing Ares and taking his place as the God of War, Kratos gained all of Ares' weapons, including the Blades of Chaos though he vowed never to use them again. God of War Wiki

If I had to guess. The reason why the blades reverted to their original appearance is that a lot of the things that powered the blades (the magic of the various gods that changed it over time) had begun to fade from the blades when those gods died.

My theory of how the blades of chaos changed back is the lack of blood orbs that were going to the blades because they are magical weapons that were powered by the blood orbs

What I'm thinking is that Kratos couldn't die because he'd killed Hades and kind of absorbed his soul in GOWIII. I think it's something like the valkyries- without a proper God of the Underworld, a soul like Kratos just couldn't be ripped away from its mortal body, so he just didn't die. That is, until he got to a place with its own underworld... Scandinavia.

If memory serves the novels concluded that Kratos in lore regained the powers he had in the earlier games later in the series. Though yeah this is difficult as hell to canonize. I guess you could say the Cestus were there because he went to the Cyclops Brontes or something? (I don't know)
This takes place pre god of war one which is why he is asking Athena if its a test. Its also why he uses the blades of chaos.

Shovel Knight in the game is half the height of Kratos. Kratos is 6”5 tall. Shovel Knight then must be around 3 feet tall.
Kratos is 7 feet tall
maybe the blades went back to being the blades of chaos when the God's all died and so all the power in the sword got lost. that could explain why the blade looks rusty and old. at least until you begin to use it again and upgrade it. who knows, maybe when brok and sindri have a look at it officially, it will have a new power up or something.
Hey Kaptain Kuba I think I know how Kratos got to Norse, I know this video was uploaded over a year ago and you may have a different theory but I’m almost positive that Skoll and Hati Took Kratos to Norway. There was a mysterious woman I believe and if it wasn’t a woman it was most likely Tyr since he was one of the only ones who can travel to other mythologies with the Unity Stone and if it was a woman then it was most likely Faye. I believe one of your theory videos say that Faye has a bit of a Connection to Tyr and obviously the giants so I also believe that theory.

Ares gave The Blades of Chaos to kratos when he made the deal with him.
Athena gave kratos The Blades of Athena after I guess he lost the BoC when ares died. (That nightmare fight vs a bunch of kratoses)
Athena transformed the BoA into The Blades of Exile In Gow 3

He knew where norse land was because after ascension he had had atreus at which point, some time after( after gow1) he placed the blades of chaos in fayes hands scince he had the blades of Athena

He is no longer in Greek lands and waters. It would be stupid for her to continue to harrass him. She is the only 'god' left there and there's nothing stopping her.
IMO and theory there is only ONE pair of chained blades. The Blades of Chaos. While Ares was alive, no other god could influence the blades. Once he died, ony gods who were powerful enough could. It's also said that once Ares is dead, then he can remove the chains. Athena could only transform and imbue them thereafter. Changing them once and renaming them (Blades of Athena) and then again by repairing/transforming them into the Blades of Exile.
It is likely that Zues' destruction of all the other weapons was only powerful enough to take all of the power out of them, making them revert to the original Blades of Chaos form. She did NOT transform them back. The visions of Athena and Zeus in Helheim are just that. They are simple nods to the previous 7 games.

GOW ascension takes place before everything, shortly after kratos kills his family i believe because kratos is attempting to break his oath to ares. Ascension is the first game in chronological order
There is a comic its about Kratos after God of War 3 where he walks away and when he wakes up Athean brought him the Blades and in the comic Kratos hid his face with a red piece of clouths the comic would be betwen after the end of GOW and before Meeting the Showel Knight

How do you know this gome happens after God of War 3? And concerning Athena's appearance, I it wasn't a memory, at the contrary she was marking a spectre of herself to appear in front of Kratos mocking him safely, and that was in my opinion long after she changed the blades back to blades of chaos.
cory has confirmed that this is in fact after gow 3, and Athena wasn't really there, otherwise mimir would have notice her meaning it was in kratoss mind, so the view people take is that it was a vision. But what im asking is what caused the visions? Each Culture have their own Gods and each culture have their own Dimensions that's why in Norse theres Hel while Greek have the underworld but they're still in the same planet. And I think Midgard is just a name use by the Norse and not the whole world itself. Since Mimir said that he knows Kratos is Greek because he knows who Athena is meaning Midgard isn't the whole earth but a part if Earth occupied by the Norse mythology

I dont know witch mithology is older but i think that Kratos didnt lose his god powers, because he can still heal himself, like in the begining of the game, first battle with Baldur. I think he healed himself and used the faiths magic to go back thru time, before all the titan and god war in greece, he will take Atreus to Greece when the war starts, so he can stop it. In that case, Kratos wolud keep his family, none of the things that have gone wrong wolud even happen, and he will die an old man In Greece. And Atreus about he is talking about might be his son, if he even is his son, because Atreus has red hair and blue eyes, non similar to greek culture.

Well, my theory about kratos going to scandinavia is simple, based on the scene that the gang find jotunheim temple hidden on the realm of realms... kratos kind of recognizes the unity stone!! I got this theory where Kratos is Tyr since it is already hinted that time travel is involved in the game and Kratos; his presence and his actions have changed the course of prophecies. Kratos does not know it yet just like how Atreus has no idea that the world serpent is one of his offsprings. Kratos would eventually become a good "God of War" just as how Mimir tells of Tyr being loved by all as Tyr shares his knowledge with people beyond the Norse realms. Some parallels are seen in Kratos wanting be a better God and having made the decision to give "hope" to the world instead of handing it to Athena at the ending of GOW3. In some ways which will be revealed in the sequels, Kratos will end up fulfilling the role of Tyr in aiding the Giants against Odin. I also think that Kratos after all the time travelling and changing history (+ fulfilling prophecies) is the one who will bring the wine and pot from Greece and place it in Tyr's vault. He just does not know it yet. Lastly, I believe Kratos to be the immortal God of War as it gives credibility to the ending of GOW1 where it tells of Kratos keeping a ever watchful eye whenever men fought wars.
Kratos or Tyr actually aided the wars through this day just like it was on the GoW1 cameo.

It was pointed out to me that at least one of my theories, the one about Atreus/Loki turning on his father specifically, may have been ripped off from another video. Sounds good. I really liked this video too especially the part about the Blades of Chaos being returned to Kratos by Athena as a way to torment him further.
