Well that's because you don't need vicodin after getting your teeth pulled. I have had almost all my teeth removed using only the numbing shot. There is zero pain after it and if there is you can take Tylenol and that will take care of the pain by itself if there is any.

      @RickyL305 Рік тому

Though I agree with what you stated. There are still a good amount of doctors that still prescribe them but a lot more loops to get around as the loops should be in place anyhow. Let's get real there was no use for pill mills at every corner, there was no laws in Place prior to 2016 to stop both doctor shopping and out of state so called patients taking advantage of legitimate patients whom need them. Unfortunately when the CDC 2016 guidelines was put into law by Donald Trump, America did not realize fentinil and other dangerous drugs would be taken over. Where America failed to see this outcome, other countries taken advantage of it with making a ton of money while killing thousands yearly.
I still receive my medications after returning from overseas but I know of many whom were cut off immediately also. I know some of my are banned also in more than half of all American states also. One of my scripts, I only know of just two states that issue them and even then, it's far less doctors doing so.

Best comment ever. Doctors are no longer able to prescribe medication they seem fit for the patient . Government leaders and insurance companies some how know more about the medical field then the doctors who attended years of school. 1st mistake made was forcing patients off pain meds 10yrs ago up to this day. That forced so many people who need it to function n be a productive in life to find other things that help. Its like Doctors are afraid to practice for fear the FDA will shut them down. This video is proof when ur not getting the care from ur medical professional humans will look for any n everything they can self medicate with. Seems to me under a Doctor's care was better then people out here self medicating . I strongly believe there is something in certain peoples bodies that make them have a higher risk of becoming dependent on certain medication. I dont believe its all having an addictive personality. I truly believe some people carry some kind of gene or something they are lacking in the body when they take pain meds for the 1st time as prescribed what ever it is the body latches on and cant function without. Once science figures that out a lot of lives will change. Maybe its just me that thinks this way . Ive watched so many people that were successful , NEVER dependent on anything , take pain meds for a few weeks and now all the sudden they cant function without it. Banning the stuff dont fix the issue in fact its made it worse then ever..

I have used tianeptine before for the purpose of relieving anxiety, especially social anxiety, and it works well for that purpose. It's used as an antidepressant in other parts of the world. I didn't have any side effects whatsoever, except that I did start to feel slightly euphoric or high one time when I took more than normal. At higher dosages, it binds to opioid receptors in the brain, and this is problematic for those with addictive tendencies. I used it only occasionally and I used it responsibly, and I feel that it can absolutely be used responsibly. This news story is very is one-sided, telling only of the horror stories of extreme abuse. I feel that it is generally safe, but only when used responsibly.

This here should tell you that Drs are doing it completely wrong.. My back Dr retired last year and I was sent there by my regular Dr.. I go back to my regular Dr and he says there's not much that I can do for you.. What? So absolutely nothing at all for withdrawals.. After my back Dr had me taken #6 oxycodone 30's per day and I would like to see anyone try to withdrawal from that high of a dose.. It was scary.. I got fed up and I started paging my regular Dr at 4am just to wake him up.. He put me back on #4 per day and now I'm down to just taking #3 10's per day.. I also think that every doctor should have to go through oxycodone withdrawals before they are able to write them.. just like police go through being teased and maced.. Crazy Mess.. They act like it's no big deal to withdrawal.. Well just imagine going to your front door at 10 p.m. and when you open it there's 4 men standing there with shotguns.. Yeah that's what the panic attacks feel like.. You can't sleep like that..

That's ludicrous... Yes it used to be a standard practice for psychiatrists specifically to try the drugs they prescribe at least once themselves but purposely going through withdrawals?? Stop being dumb. You just have to read to know that withdrawal (especially from certain drugs) is pure hell and you can forever change your brain chemistry even after the withdrawal stage. People should not be taking it often enough to have withdrawals in the first place... no one. You couldn't pay me to take an opioid everyday.. It's called not being pharmacologically illiterate. You should've known what you were in for taking a morphine analogue daily let alone at that dose. And the only professionals who should purposely put themselves through intense opioid withdrawal are the moronic ones like yours who told you to take it daily...

You mean because you're uneducated... This ain't the 1950s or 70s bro. If you need someone to hold your hand through basic drug pharmacology and the basics for derivatives of opium then you're a loser straight up.
"And you can't expect everyone to know.."
Yes I can... Anyone who's not a literal child should know this and should be considered common knowledge even as far back as the 90s. There's absolutely no excuse for this even for patients. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the realities of an opium derived psychoactive compound. You people truly blow my mind.
"maybe you shouldn't be in your field of work, especially if you want to blame it on the freaking patient.."

It's incredibly easy to get help now thanks to some pandemic era regulations that passed. A family doctor can now prescribe suboxone now, for instance. There are now telehealth options as well. In my case I sought out assistance via telehealth and they use my insurance. It's great since I work out of state irregularly throughout the year. 20 bucks a month, drug tests are mailed to me and results are uploaded to their app. The app also has loads of recovery groups that discuss nearly every topic around addiction and getting help as well. Bicycle Health. Quick MD, I believe it's called, also offers a similar service for far less than the average persons habit in one day, without insurance. The pandemic was an absolute blessing when it came to addiction assistance, access to therapy and other mental health concerns. So you may have been correct 5+ years ago but not anymore unless you're specifically wanting to talk about methadone, which is still ridiculously prohibitive to access for some reason.

It literally has the same addiction rate as alcohol. I even have alcoholic genes and still can use alcohol in moderation, let alone opioids.
There's only one exception to this rule and that is people who were neglected as children (especially in a maternal sense) having an underdeveloped endorphic system in the brain making the feeling of opioids pretty much irresistible because it's like being loved/hugged for the first time in their life. People who were neglected as very young children therefore react very differently to opioids than 'normal' people. That is the only scenario where you can fall into the hole of addiction without prior excessive and frequent abuse of a drug.

The problem as I see it is that many drugs if used sensibly don't cause addiction or harm. Fentanyl for example is a great pain killer when used by a physician in small doses for cancer or end of life care. The problem is when people misuse them. If these drugs are available to buy then it is guaranteed someone who is so inclined will find out how many they need to take to feel "high". Therefore these drugs should only be available on prescription . I know there will always be illegal selling of drugs, but putting these things in gas stations is just encouraging people who maybe wouldn't go as far as using a drug dealer to try something to get high .
I agree that alcohol is equally harmful if used to excess; but it is also a drug that has been around for a long time and if used socially in moderation it is one of life's little pleasures. Maybe because it has been around for so long people are conscious of what is a reasonable amount . Sticking to one glass of wine for example.
People trying to get high to be honest I don't understand it as it is taking away the pleasure of the drug eg alcohol. Also if someone has a real pain problem and they have already been taking something like heroin which has pain relieving benefits then they will not benefit from that drug when they really need it.
I agree that there is a problem in that people with real excrutiating pain are not being prescribed the opiods they need. There are legitimate medical uses for these drugs in which case I think they should be allowed to be prescribed.
I understand there can be a cross-over. (that people started taking them legitimately then continued when the pain had gone) This probably came down to overprescribing, so prescribing needs to be closely monitored and only prescribed for as long as is needed.
I was prescribed a sleeping tablet that was "totally safe to stay on for as long as you want" more than 40 years ago. Around 10 years ago they decided it wasn't. I can't kick it completely, but this is where physicians need to take some of the blame as they put you on these things in the first place. Luckily my physician is still prescribing it to myself but not new patients . When he threatened to take it away I tried other things which I could buy legally and to be honest the side effects were far worse.
So I think it's reasonable for physicians to keep patients on moderate doses eg of opiods, fentanyl etc ; also ambien zolpidem etc if they were introduced to that a long time ago. Whilst I agree it is not ideal and I wish I had never started taking a sleeping pill , it may be more dangerous to try and switch to this sort of "over the counter " stuff where you don't know applicable doses or side effects.

I've never even heard of this. You've just given addicts another alternative if they didn't know of this to begin with. Also, I don't think I believe the F D A has no way of knowing anything. Don't these companies have to register their products somewhere in order to sell them especially at convenience stores? If not they should have to.

Right now is the best time in U.S. history to be a drug dealer, manufacturer and Cartel.
The fact that you can sell such addictive product without any hassle from our government is simply amazing.
Children are being given marijuana gummies to get them hooked at such young ages.
I remember back to the Ronald Reagan administration when it was Just Say No To Drugs campaign.
And look at our country now.
Our state legislatures and federal legislatures are all on the Cartels' payroll,
    so anything goes now.

Your hilarious delusions and lies aside, edible THC is substantially less addictive/habitual than inhaled THC just fyi. Also not really a great time to be a drug dealer unless you're selling MDMA, LSD and/or weed. And coke to an extent but all the other drug markets have basically been ruined. There's not even heroin anymore and real amphetamines are a thing of the past. All that's left is super low purity methamphetamine that is all just racemic mixtures anyways.

It was the Reagan years that the cartels got their shit together and really started importing the dope and the Reagan administration did next to nothing to stop them and in fact actually helped explode the epidemic cocaine and other drugs.
