- Hello, it's Thursday! This week we are making an adorable running bunny with antlers! Yes, it is supposed to be a hare, but mine came out a little too cute, and little less evil, so "bunny" fits it better.

Folks! The text of the last row of the antlers swaps between "fpsc" and "sc" from shot to shot. On the original I used fpsc, on this one I changed it to 6sc because it's easier and makes no visual difference , and I've clearly missed the update in a couple of shots. It doesn't matter which one you do, just pick one and stick with it. :)
This is AMAZING! I am from Wyoming where the jackalope myth originated. We always mess with people and tell them that they are in fact real here, you’ve just never seen one because they drop their antlers as soon as you look at them 😂
I wish everyone formatted their patterns the way you do, I always found it super clear and easy to follow. Especially you taking the time to bold the current row in the videos is super appreciated.
Agreed. It's so hard to follow the ones that don't put the text on screen and also don't provide a pdf version.
Holy crap for a channel called complicated knots, you really make things so easy to follow & yet so detailed, so everything is a work of art.
This is the earliest I’ve ever been. Hope your well, all way from Scotland.
Hello to Scotland! :)
this is so funny! last June, i crocheted a jackalope using your old easter bunny pattern, and i attached a pair of antlers from a deer pattern i found online!
So excited to make this lil guy!!!
0:31 I didn’t even notice the white yarn, it blended into the background until you pointed it out.
HE IS ADORABLE!!!
This is so perfect!!!! What a lil guy ❤can’t wait to make one
Thank you so much for your free patterns!!
So happy you made this video before christmas! Im going to make one for my dad!
I love your video's, thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I got real excited when I saw Jackalope won. Now I just need to find a pattern for a skvader (rabbit with wings) and a wolpertinger (rabbit with horns AND wings) to make a complete trio 😂
oeeh i have a wolpertinger pattern though he is also marked as jackalope and it's fluffy too
Did I need more projects this holiday season: No
Am I still going to make this: Yes.
Eeee I love him! I'm so excited to make this! I totally missed the previous vid where you designed it. I was the one to suggest a jackalope! (Maybe other people did, too, but I know mine was the first comment about it, so I am totally taking credit. 😂 )
This is so cute !!!!
Thanks! I'm glad you like them! :)
Oh Thank you, thank you, thank you. I fell in love with your running jack and boy am I so glad you're sharing him with us. I'm buying the pattern to add to my other complicated knot patterns. DeathMoth (LOVE), Skeleton (Adore), croc (so cute) and a few others. If I didn't thank you enough for this pattern. . . THANK YOU!
Gorgeous ❤
You should realise the pants cryptid to because the pants were so cute!!!!
❤so beautiful truly love it❤❤
So cute! ❤❤❤
In germany there's quite a similar mystical creature, the wolpertinger a rabbit with antlers but also other animal parts. I guess it was wings of a duck? Idk anymore
I love your designs 🥺💕 could you do more parts on how to design amigurumis? how to create more shapes, how to see the proportions, etc. I would love to see more content of that style on your channel 🥺 greetings from Chile ♡♡♡🇨🇱
I think you’re aware - we LOVE TB in our fam, especially NMBC (nightmare season!). I’m thinking this kit is worth it just for even half of the patterns! GREAT flip-thru and excellent video, as always! Side note: I wish I could crochet a replacement for my wheelchair, lol. I get it would be a LOT more comfy and groovy 😂. Loved this! Hugs!!! ☺️🙏🏻🧶🫶🏻 xx - mommalisa
Open a class for how to make the shapes you want for a pattern. PLEASEeeee🙏
If another cryptic video comes about you should make it Ocean themed, there are a tone of whale and dolphin cryptids
14:57 Just marking where I’m at currently.
I need 8 of these and then I need a sleigh and then a barn, and then a field full of them, and then.... and then..... and then.....
Have you ever thought of crocheting an Elk/Wapiti? Or whitetailed deer? I haven't found a single pattern for either one of them that didn't look wonky. Maybe the antlers and noses are to hard to recreate?
Love this! ^w^
One question tho, I noticed row 10 of the antlers changed between 6sc and 6fpsc a couple times between shots and wondered if that was an error or does it matter a lot which ones you do?
Its pure typo. On the original I used fpsc, on this one I changed it to 6sc , and I've clearly missed the update in a couple of shots. Which one you do will make no real difference, 6sc is just easier. :)
Love your cryptically. Have you tried a Bunyip?
Ugh...hate auto correct...should have said cryptid 😂
Would it be possible for you to realese the eeveelution patterns on your patron or UA-cam because you are like the only person who has every single eevee in pattern form so if it is possible that would be the second most amazing thing to meeting you myself ❤❤😊
😭 oh no I wuv them so much
Thanks for watching :)
Hi I’m in the process of making this for a friend and I can’t get round 4 to end with 28st total I’ve ended up with 30 every time no matter how many times I recount and re stitch it, is it possible there’s an error to the count or am I just having a dyslexic moment 😅
HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 😊
Hi! :)
Am I seeing correctly? It looks like what you're calling an "increase" is front-loop only twice, and then you're doing a regular increase and calling it "two single stitches into the same stitch"??? (sorry, I'm new to crochet and trying to learn)
Ok, so there are increases, and "3sc into the same stitch". I work mine using the "invisible" method for both, meaning I work the first stitch through the frontloop only, and the next stitch(es) through both loops.
This is thought to reduce the appearance of the increases on the finished piece, but you can also just use regular increases if you prefer :)
I believe there is a meme about knitting/crocheting is being witchcraft lol
A crochet a toothless?
