Hey Max. I was watching your video the other day about drum programming again. It's just so great has a lot of knowdlege to it and I was thinking of another challenge that i think you should probabaly consider.
How about just creating the biggest best drum groove to yours ears? Programming the grooviest, funkiest drum groove, giving it all you got and not holding back? And that's it. No instruments (you can/should use percussion) And maybe just making a drum groove you can listen to all day. (It can be acoustic or sampled if you want is up to you. i was thinking maybe acoustic drums) but thats just another idea i thought you should consider. I know obviously the amount of free time we both have is different but whenever or whatever works for you

Hey thanks David. We have done a couple challenges that are a bit similar...
Challenge 55 - Drums as Melody
(Though this does have subtle instruments in it)
Challenge 07 - Drums and Perc Only
(I used a bunch of crazy effects on that one)
Then we also did the one replacing the drums for Twilights Waters (Challenge 56) which ended up having some crazy grooves.
That being said, we haven't done one exactly like you mentioned. Maybe in the future this would be good but I'll wait a bit since we just did a series of drum-related challenges. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hey Max. Your music is awesome as always...
If you don't mind I may have another video idea
Have you made a video about instrument and sound selection? Like how does one know which sound is good to use in a song?

And Hos make Me Dance funky groovy beat. I like the way he makes studio one look that's why he inspires me to grt it. And all the plugins he has (ish) he has a lot of great music theory. And a lot of music knowledge. I'm 14 at the moment avout to be 15 next month and i wanna be as good as him...

Hey Max. I need some serious help
I don't mean to share my whole life story (and I knwo you probabaly can't help me because all you know about me is my name.
I need help. I'm still practicing piano. I'm at a point where I CAN play chords and I do know all the notes and where they are..... but how do I gain the muscle memory and fingering position to actually play them like a pro? I wanna be good at piano when I'm young not when I'm old. (I can't help but feel like that may have been offensive to you sorry lol)( So you know any muscle meory tips that can help fast?

      My suggestions:
Find an in-person piano teacher who teaches pop/rock/jazz stuff. This is by far the fastest way to progess.
Learn the chords to real songs that you like and then play along with the recording. Practice the chord changes until they are very smooth and easy and then play along as if you're in the band. This is how I started and it created great muscle memory for the chords used in each song since I had to repeat them so much. A teacher will also do this with you.
Playing real music is the key. Exercises and practice are important but you need to apply what you learn to playing music in real time. That's the way!
