    The current market/economy is unnecessarily tougher for boomers/senior citizens, I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio of $230k.

      If you want to grow your monthly income over time then look into stocks that pay monthly dividends. Closed end funds are a great way to accomplish this.

      @@Aurierserge50 I agree cos i use one and I’m grateful my advisor's moment by moment changes in the market are lightening quick, cos who know how much losses I would’ve had by now.
