Dan Flax talking cost-cutting for Tesla! 🚗💸 If they can trim expenses, maybe I can finally put my $150k emergency fund to work and invest in some innovative stocks. Thoughts on where to start
Absolutely, cost reduction is key for Tesla's profitability. With $150k, you've got a good amount to allocate wisely. Maybe look into companies focused on disruptive technologies or sustainable energy - sectors with growth potential. Keep your eyes peeled for the next big thing! 🌱💡
Thanks for the sector suggestions! I'm eager to start investing, but I'm clueless about finding a reputable investment advisor. Any tips on where to begin my search?
Finding a good advisor can be tricky, but it's worth it for peace of mind. Look for someone with experience in the sectors you're interested in. You might want to consider Linda Aretha Reeves - she's known for her strategic insights and personalized approach.
I looked up Linda Aretha Reeves after seeing your comment - she seems to have the expertise and reputation I need to steer my investments in the right direction. Thanks for the indirect recommendation!
I feel investors should focus on under-the-radar stocks, considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered. I don't know where to go here out of devastation.
The safest approach I feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.
@@amolejoshua7452 It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.
@@KacieLehman This is considerable! think you could suggest any professionals/advisors? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation.
@@FolarinSodiq My CFA ’ is “Victoria Carmen Santaella”, a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
@@KacieLehman Appreciate this recommendation, hopefully, I can get some insight into where the market is headed and strategies to beat the downtrend when I hear back from Victoria Carmen Santaella.
Joe is due for retirement.
Move on
Hope so. Joe sucks! I don’t watch the show because of him.
The least objective, most transparently biased, "journalist" on CNBC. Endlessly smug with his unsubstantiated cheap shots and loaded questions whenever a guest smarter than him is featured. (Especially AFTER said guest can no longer respond, of course.) He's always pursuing a thinly disguised political agenda.
The secret is to keep promising things you can't do yet. All the Tesla talent has left because of exploiting the best engineers in the world. Now nobody wants to help him... RIP !
It helps that most car companies won’t promote engineers that aren’t “diversity”.
I'm guessing you must've been one of those exploited engineers that got let go...
Tesla is circling the drain
Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $560K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategie;s ... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
Very true. buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. hence I will suggest you get yourself a financial-Advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist.
Yes its important. I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k
@@RichieAnnabel This actually isn't the first time i am getting this suggestions, but finding a decent one has been challenging. Do you mind leaving some recommendations?
@@PHILIPTURNEL Well,I dont know if you are confortable trying finacial advisors recommended on comment sections but anyway, Svetlana Sarkisian Chowdhury is the licensed advisor I use and im just putting this out here because you asked. You can Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
It was easy to find Svetlana Sarkisian Chowdhury . Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her résumé. Thanks for the tip
It is so sad that emissions credits are more than half of operating income. DT will likely buy the UAW vote by easing emissions regs. Tesla margins will take another hit.
does he work for Tesla? he cannot even say obvios thing about what if Trumps cut subsidies
let BYD sell in the US
This man sounds like a clown. This stock should not be trading at these levels
There share holders are a cult.
Tesla ain’t going anywhere but it’s the next Oracle. It’s gonna be dead money for a decade
Hi UA-cam if you’re gonna delete my comments at least don’t notify me when someone else comments🤦🏾♂️
Also Tesla is wildly overvalued. It’s gonna be our generations Oracle. It’s gonna be dead money for a decade or more as it grows into it’s valuation
Obviously the stock should trade much much lower. Tesla is in a good position in EVs, but the PE is ridiculously high. Tesla is a cyclical, not a growth only stock.
Stop deleting my comments UA-cam.
Also crazy overvalued. A 20-30 p/e would be generous… 60 is nuts for foreseeable growth in the single digits
Tesla is unique in that its stock has always been trading at very high levels and consequently the P/Es appear ludicrous . That is mostly underpinned by a lot of sentiment by loyal investors who have great expectations from Musk . The serious competition that they are facing is from the Chinese with lower costs inputs and govt subsidies.
This guy lives in an alternate universe. He is drinking the Elon Kool-Aid.
The analyst sounds all positive. All the discussions around issues that may indicate a possible downturn for Tesla were answered without reference to the particular issue being flagged
That man is definitely a bagholder lol
a progressive policy (emission credits) pretty much kept the company going
Sort of ironic given Musks support of Trump.
@@mkyhou1160 his company is afloat because of "woke" people, based on his ideology, he should make cars running on coal

It is amazing to have your competitors pay for your new technologies innovations!! By the time the credits are lost, how far ahead will Tesla be? competitors contribute to Tesla competitive advantages !!! CRAZY
There are no competitive advantages for Tesla, EV sales are plummeting. Just paying for dreams of robots one day.

Have you ever tried a Rivian, a f150 lightning or an Audi eTron GT? The quality is way higher compared to Tesla, that’s all you need to know to understand Tesla’s earnings. Robotaxi? Maybe in 10 years
Robotaxi- one of Musks brainstorms while high and drunk. Ditto Cybertruck. And Mars. Lol😅😊
Even if he is right about bring the cost down and in his words innovating. Elon seems to be focus on the robotaxis and who really know how long that would take to get off the ground and then be profitable. I mean I don’t think no one would be surprised if he push the Oct event into early next year.

... AND comparable quality and technology (which they pillage both freely and with complicity from the West).
Robotaxi will be read in Q5, just wait
Robo taxi is coming soon. Robo taxi is coming next year. Robo taxi is coming in 2 years. Robo taxi is coming....
_Whelp!_ That _last_ bit triggered a thoroughly unwanted and horrifying mental image.
In other words I still need more time to make my fake robotaxi videos
I believe this is a good long-term buying opportunity for TSLA. $219 is juicy 🤤
I like my model 3, but I wish they would spend more time on getting the fit and finish right, instead of pie in the sky dreams.
Don’t sleep on $SMTC small cap Russell 2000 chip maker with $50-60 price target currently at $33? Has the biggest upside as the chip sector bounces off the bottom and $SMTC benefits from being in the Russell as it’s a small cap.
Call options cheap 😊
This person doesn't seem to be dialed in with any of the questions asked. Like pulling a string on a toy.
Even with tariffs on Chinese EVs Musk gets half of his operating profits from Democrat green credits. That's wild😂
Joe Kernan needs to retire.
Next one to two years, seems to never come.
Tesla X Optimus X AI = Transformers Robot 🤖 in the future ❤❤❤Elon is amazing 🤩
Wen Roadster?
Elon Musk is not navigating the dynamics of politics very well. Seems to be more in favor of an administration that is potentially against what the CEO of a EV car and tech company stands for.
stock support by stories, 40% to 50% sales growth gone, now robotaxi, later robot
Whether you love or hste Tesla/Elon Musk one thing is certain and that is thebfact that EVs would be nowhere near advancned and the gake up would be nowhere near what it is now without Tesla and Elon
You have to question the priorities of Elon Musk and his followers in the Tesla boardroom.
Many car manufacturers have focused on high-end models, making it difficult for people to buy affordable cars. A $30k entry-level Tesla would be extremely popular.
Musk's obsession with big vanity projects is perplexing, especially when the brand's identity is becoming less appealing.
An analyst who provide sound reasoning.
old cars, with a psychotic CEO and a cult behind him. no thanks.. illl stick with Chevy.
Trump didn't do anything with EV regulatory credits the first time. Maybe this, maybe that? Joe is miserable.
Europeans dont care about niche products like the FSD, cyber or robotaxi. Millions wants a Tesla, but cant afford it now. So they are waiting for the compelling 25K$ compact, a bit smaller than M3, fitting much better to the narrow european roads.
Sold all of my Tesla stock due to Elon’s unhinged moves and views.

@@johngonzales3645 I meant you.
@@darylfoster7944 Your opinion is worthless.
@@johngonzales3645 as is yours
He doesn't actually answer any questions. Without the regulatory credits and EV/solar bailouts, Tesla is bankrupt inside of 2 years. BTW, Tesla already makes the "$25K" EV. Its called the Model 3 LR. Tesla just needs to drop the price of that model.
It's already available for $35k, and is superior to every other car in that price range or above. Why would they sell it for the price of a Corolla, and lose money? Just so you can have one? Fyi, Tesla now has over $30B in cash. Your bankruptcy comment is laughable.
@@darylfoster7944 Tesla losing money on a vehicle is irrelevant to the consumer. Case and point, Cybertruck. Tesla is literally paying consumers to take delivery of the Cybertruck. How much does Tesla have after you subtract all the liabilities? Go ahead, we'll wait...
Tesla has like 0 debt.
@@mouzurX Maybe you should read the earnings reports. 🤣
@@KungPowEnterFist the CT will be profitable by year end. Listen to the conference call.
The near future of Tesla is about lower cost electric cars, Full Self Driving cars (AI), Robo Taxi's (AI), Humanoid Robots for automated production (AI) and Energy Deployment (batteries). The company will 3X in 5 years no matter the politics.
AI and all those wishfull thinking apps are more likely to waste all the positive cash flow EV and grid power make. The real revenue producing business NEEDS REINVESTMENT OR IT WILL DIE. Anyone with business experience knows that you don’t put a tech multiple on a car company just because it dabbles in tech.
Tesla will see growth in ZEV Credit Income as the legacy OEMs continue to struggle and pull back on rolling out EVs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this income.
Every EV maker in the USA besides Tesla is selling more EVs in 2024, than they did in 2023. They are pulling back on goals, but their new goals are still way above their 2023 numbers.
@@PeterSedesse Stelantis is questionable. They might just pay tesla and run their US business into the ground making rams and jeeps.
Bro shave that tiny bit of hair wth
haha, I was thinking the same thing. There is no shame in giving up the fight, and accepting reality.
Bringing down cost means them keeping the same models that are already really old. Tesla is like the EV equivalent of Nissan. They keep the same models with no refresh and thier CEO/former are crooks.
Model 3 just refreshed. Model Y refresh next year. Cybertruck new. Your idea of a refresh is changing the fenders and taillights. Tesla updates its parts and processes on a daily basis, not once every five years, like OEM, not to mention OTA updates.
@@darylfoster7944 Yeah sure buddy. How many of those Cyber trucks paid $18k for an appearance package they never got? The answer is all of them. You may find this hard to believe but people don't like getting screwed on money.
