after car seat is no longer used due to to weight, it can still be used as stroller but a different car seat would be needed for car only correct? first time mom here.
We just got this as first time expecting parents and are a little nervous with how much movement there seems to be? Is that common or should we be looking into a base option 😬
@whitneydahl1976 - Congratulations on your impending arrival! Can you give us more specific information? Where is the movement? What part of the seat are you touching when you are checking for movement? In which direction is the seat moving when it's attached to the lower latch anchors in your vehicle?
@@CarseatBlog thank you! The movement is at the head of the car seat and it significantly moves from the back of the seat upwards 1-2”. We are touching at the head of the car seat. It does move a bit side to side when touching the head of the seat and moving it around
@whitneydalh1976 - that movement is normal and totally acceptable. All rear-facing car seats will have movement at the head because it's not anchored to the vehicle near the head. I'm going to look for the Urbn instructions online so I can reference a specific page in the manual, but generally speaking, the only place you check for tightness is *at the beltpath*, which means near the point where the searbelt or latch connectors are secured to the vehicle. If you have the seat attached using the rigid latch connectors and the connectors are securely attached to the lower latch anchors in your vehicle - you're good as long as the recline angle is correct! That's the beauty of rigid latch. You don't have to worry if it's tight enough. If it's attached correctly, you're golden! 👍🏻

@@CarseatBlog thank you so much for the help greatly appreciated!! 😊
@@whitneydahl1976 - it's our pleasure. Good luck!!
Hi, does the stroller allow for lay flat position?
Hi. Are shoulder pads advised for newborns? Feels like it’s really squeezing for me
Do all cars have those anchors???
google says that after 2002 they all should have them
Is the toddler seat able to be removed? Or is it permanently on there?
So it slides around and isn’t truly secure lol
I wont lie. The urbn doesnt look safe whatsoever
