I feel like I’m at a rave watching this video
Nothing like a RAVE review! ;)
Would a universal riding board be able to attach to the back of the tavo? Is this good on grass and gravel? Thanks!
When you say you can use the stroller from birth, can I put my newborn in for bassinet-style lounging and/or push my newborn in the stroller without the car seat? I haven’t seen any videos showcasing that so wondering about the safety and comfort for my little one.
It's not a true flat fold like a bassinet, but super close to it. I'm purchasing this one because I think I will use it more.
A few other reviews say it’s newborn compatible because of the recline
Yes, you can use the seat from newborn in the full recline position!
i was shown this stroller physical in a store, and the seller didn’t mention anything about the base coming with purchase. where do you buy the base ? :)
I believe this car seat is baseless !! (:
The base is included in the box! You will receive the Tavo stroller, Pipa infant car seat, and Pipa car seat base! (Noting this is the case in Canada - can't speak to what's in the box for other countries!)
Comes with the base in the box
All infant carseat comes with bases
Those top two buckles are too close together and may hurt kids' heads. I bought one and may return it.
Really? We've never received that feedback before. Has it improved now that they have grown a little?
I need the stroller but not the carseat as it's for older toddler
The Tavo is only sold as a travel system with the Pipa Infant Car Seat - some alternate options in the Nuna stroller family are the Triv, Trvl, or Mixx Next!
What are wheels made of , and the height of the seat
The wheels are rubber, foam filled rear tires and rubber front tires.
In between this and the uppababy vista v2. My wife is 5’2 and about 100 lbs so weight is a major concern with this Nuna as well as I’m heading the seat is very large in smaller cars.
the stroller is huge in my toyota rav 4. I would get the V2
I got this and I regret it because it’s so hard af to attach the carseat to stroller
Oh no! We haven't experienced that issue with ours. If you are local to a Snuggle Bugz store, feel free to bring it in and perhaps they can take a look and offer some assistance!
Really? When I tried in store is a simple slide in and it clicks
I have it and it’s literally super simple! It just clicks in super easy. I love mine. I’m a first time mom btw so I’ve only used this one and don’t really have anything to compare it to physically
Which system would you say you would recommend nuna TAVO or the nuna mixx?
Been doing a lot of research for my own birth. So I love the Mixx, however, the tavo next reclines to the flat fold and I feel like that's more worth the money. No, it won't detach so you can pick which way kid goes, but I feel like most children want to be front facing (since infant will be in the car seat). Plus the fold for the tavo next seemed more seamless to us. Good luck!
With the MIXX you are getting a full size stroller - which means it is coming full loaded with features. Also, you can take the toddler seat off to use as a travel system. The toddler seat does fully recline and can be used from birth. With the TAVO you are getting a slightly smaller stroller, smaller wheels, toddler seat cant reverse or be removed when using with an infant car seat... At the end of the day, they are both great options, just depends what appeals most to your family!
