Your vids are awesome! Wish you did this vid a few years ago when I taught my boys how to drive stick. I had a 2007 Cummins that I used to teach my boys. That was MUCH easier than the 13 Jetta. Thanks again for posting
My F350 has a manual transmission also. I keep forgetting there are those who cannot drive manual transmission. Mine has no trouble stalling with the old 7.3 as long as you do not let the clutch out too fast. How in the world did you convert to a right hand drive truck LOL!
I’d say you can do both depending on the situation and the comfort level for beginners you should always keep wayyy more distance than when a automatic because now in our society 90% of ppl drive auto. And they dont understand that you can’t just step on the gas a go. But to answer your question as a beginner you can pop the clutch it in neutral and stop (not the other way around). Or you can you downshift to a lower gear and then pop it neutral and stop

When ur at a red light and start slowing down do u shift down while slowing down or do u just stop and put it in neutral then put it in first
