    Honestly I love my PT01 I added the jesse dean on and off switch, the fader and a few other upgrades, I honestly use this guy at gigs more than my turn tables for scratching,
    Plug this bad boy into a mixer and use that fader and it totally changes the game as well!

    Just thought I'd point something out, I own one and I'm also a left handed scratcher (left on fader, right on record) it's without a doubt possible to use this thing as a lefty. I haven't even adjusted the position of the switch. You gotta position the table differently than a right handed scratcher would, that's it. I don't know why you'd torture yourself by learning right handed...I've put a few hours into this already and it feels comfortable.
    P.S. I do recommend an external fader...such as the Raiden Fader or the Stokyo Kutter. Gives a more authentic feel and opens you up to a whole world of different techniques. For us lefty's this is also a god send, you can position the fader however you choose so the placement of the on board switch won't be a problem.

      Zach Berci yea I was also wondering why he just doesn't turn the turntable so that the fader is on the left lol

    I just got mine in the mail today. I am waiting for my 7" vinyl to come from Mega DJ. I have the new "Cut & Paste Masters - 7" - Yellow Vinyl -Combinations with Rhythm and Flow" on the way. I will be ordering the white vinyl version of "Practice Yo Cuts vol 1&2" shortly. Good review and PRACTICE YO CUTS, HOMIE!!! LOL!

      thats great! You deserve to excited because its an early Christmas gift. I think I might scoop a copy of the Combinations with Rhythm and Flow. Might as well get a copy of the Super seal 2 seeing that its going for a better price (at Mega DJ).. I'm getting a little better seeing that I can take this setup anywhere so I don't suck so much lol.

    Yo Ave, how does the factory stylus look to you after having used it for a while? Is there noticeable vinyl wear? Should I get a different stylus for it? Thanks in advance man

    • @AveMcree

      there is a better stylus out but I just ordered it and I will do a video once I get it. Right now the stylus is ok at best.. It skips a bit on a few records I own when I scratch but that was expect when working with it. Best way to avoid it is to use skipless vinyl

      the rca to soundcard is what translates the signal from the turntable to the computer. he did it with an ipad. Could i do that with traktor control vinyl and the traktor soundcard? Does this idea make sense?

    • @AveMcree
      @AveMcree  7 років тому

      MrGoodbye23 yes it will work the same way. However, IDK if the fader on the PT01 would respond due it not being able to translate midi. There are seperate portable faders that will though.
