On NA, I've noticed a decrease in down tier matches. I tend to get downtiered around 20% of the time, whereas before the MM changes, it was around 33%. I'd have to take a closer look to see if certain tiers were more prone to being bottom tiered fights - but I do exclude my T10 matches from the calculation.
I've also noticed that being flighted an hour or two before reset tends to result in a lot of all bot matches (or occasionally an extra player on blue), but that might just be due to the low populatoin on NA. The most I've ever seen is 7 humans on a side, and that maybe 3 or 4 times.
I have seen some screwy MM though, like everyone else - like 3 human bombers on one side, with a couple of human GAAs on the other.
Overall it seems (and this is mostly anecdotal) that it pretty much averages out over time. But again, I mainly fly late at night on NA, so that probably skews what I see.
We get the bottom tier when we fly tier 6 a lot during peak times.
Tier 5, worse so.

Good to know. Tanks has preferential mm on some tanks, but they have a specific page to check them, they are generally advertised.

Yeah, it's literally preferential mm. The t5 Churchill 3, Russian premium, will only ever see t6, never t7, and usually 4 and 5 matches. Some t4s will never see t5s.
One of the weirdest things with the matchmaker is if there are two specialized planes in the queue they will be put on the same team almost every time. (no they aren't in a "flight") They claim there isn't special matchmaking for spec'd planes, yet that happens.
It is first come , first served. If they were first in que before than unspec ones, then it is what it is.
The best feature of the WoWp MM is that it can easily drop 2 live player bombers on one team, and only bot bombers on the other. That's just f*****n ridiculous.
Well, this is a big problem and I don't know if the WOWP team doesn't see it.
I wonder why american airacobra have 20% more chance to get to tier 6 battle but soviet cobra which is a little weaker have 50/50 chances
American P-39airacobra is not for sale on tech tree, Russian P39 is sold on thech tree and the premium shop 365 days a year,
in short American P39 is Uncommon , so they buffed it.
you're right that it's quite wird considering that the P-39n has the best firepower at tier 6 among the light

It also seems to me that it is definitely not OP 😄even with a special pilot:) , but it would be nice if they wrote it in the premium store when purchasing these machines or pilots.
This game gets boring very fast, random battles are too monotonous, many bugs, crap mm....
On the other hand, Bomber leading mode was quite fun, sad that it is only availiable during some event days..
Well I don't get boring, at lest no more than when I play WT, everything can be boring in time
