Seriously 55k a year ? Wow! I think that's not a very high salary.
I think that's pretty good honestly considering it's hair salon and only having one business. she also didn't go to school for a long period of time
She said that's not her true salary that's what she pays her self so she can have options to open more locations.
$55k /year is NOT good and not ideal. She should be making close to $250k /year easy.
Well me too but a lot of people think getting their hair done should be cheap even tho it’s what you wear on your head !
Idk if you mean 55K isn't good/ideal for a salon owner or in general, but the beauty industry, especially salons, don't pay squat. The only people who work in the beauty industry and are successful (or, at least, not super-miserable) are those who do it because they just love doing hair and have others means of income. Not to mention beauty school is more often than not a huge rip-off.
