- In this Chevreuse guide I will explain her kit and what she does, go over her playstyles and when is she best played, go over building her as a support and as a damage dealer, explain her artifact options and main & sub stats you should look for, best weapons, possible team comps with Chevreuse and lastly constellations and how much they increase damage and healing. Chevreuse is an interesting character and one I’m definitely looking forward to, I hope this guide is helpful.

I think what could have been the best with chevreuse is that when she is on the team, overload reaction wont knock back enemies and ofc shell buff overload reaction
There is no way they would give a mechanic that good and impactful to a 4 star. But maybe a future character may have something like that that revolves even more around overload.

I'm probably going to run mine with Lyney, Fischl, and Benny... it's largely mono-pyro how Lyney likes it. But with a kick of just enough overload to keep Chevrouse's bonuses going. And Lyney's charge attacks will make it easier to hit stuff it is launched out of auto-aim range.
Love the guide. Glad to find a content creator who breaks it down in a way I can better understand build recommendations. Hope to see even some of the older characters updated with current build guides.

I think it would be cool if she had something like Nilou where by using her skill she changed the reaction. Like what if she changed overload to magnetize where instead of pushing everything away with the explosion everything caught in the explosion would be pulled towards the enemy that triggered the reaction or something like that.

I'm AR52 but I have so much to learn about artifacts and reactions. My idea of a team that I can run would be Diluc Main DPS, Raiden Sub-DPS, and Chevreuse as Support/Healer and have the fourth spot go to a reliable off-fielder with good electro application. I'd run Diluc with Crimson Witch of Flames for the Overloaded damage increase, and Raiden with Thundering Fury for the same reason or Emblem of Severed Fate. Obviously the best choice for a Chevreuse team would be the team on the banner, which I can already build... but I like weird teams that no one uses. I don't know how well it'll work, it could be awful, but only time will tell.
thanks alot of the guide. i have a specific scenario in which i would like to ask about. in a team comprising Raiden, xianling and bennett already holding noblesse, chevreuse cant use noblesse in that case, and i would like to build her for highest buff potential, in other words maintain her support role. in that case can she use full set gilded dreams, HP/HP/HP with rightful reard fontaine craftable polearm...
since i cant give her noblesse as being used on bennett and i also want to provide her max support, i cant go for a set like crimson witch, golden troupe and emblem as these seem to be more on dps focused side and with a support build she wont benefit much from these sets ... i thought if giving her gilded set that way she can maintain her support role + deal some dmg on the overload side using the ATK and EM stats provided by the set in this team comp.
about ER requirements, i think it should be fine to go with 130+ having 3 pyro characters + raiden main dps on field right ...plz let me know.

still not sure if i wanna build her as a sub dps going atk sand pyro goblet and critrate/dmg circlet or full hp/er. guess i wait a few days after her release and see if people uploaded some comparisons. i mean bennet could do the healing part besides buffing so maybe building her as an healer will lead to not having enough dps.
Not only c0 kazuha a c6 chevreus actually beats c2r1 kazuha with 1k em on a raiden hypercarry set up.
In 1 banner getting c6 chevy is less likely than getting c2 raiden
@@Noise991 Yeah but the fact doesn't change that a 4 star character beats a famous c2r1 kazuha 1k em support on buffing raiden. Many won't believe or accept this fact that their beloved kazuha got powercrept on hypercarry category.😜

@@shjinriven3408chill buddy, chevy is mostly going to be a part of overloaded teams only. Unless hoyo is willing to create a new meta around this overload reaction, I'm pretty sure kazuha is gonna stay on top of the meta and a better character overall due to his flexibility, while chevy will be the character that can be occasionally useful. Remember, electro already got massive buff from dendro reactions and still very strong even after the new hp changing mechanic got introduced, and most pyro characters benefit from hydro enablers for vaporise damage. Time will tell
I intend to use it with Bennett (he already has Noblesse Oblige), so using Song of Days Past seems like a better option, right?

Why is no one talking about Cyno? He wants some EM anyway, so good overloads from him, and he benefits from Chevreuse's ability to refresh her buffs off-field. C4 Xiangling's burst lasts 14s, which is enough for the buffs to last Cyno's entire burst. Last slot could be Bennett or an Electro flex, but I think Thoma or Dehya will be very strong here for some interruption res, dmg reduction and off-field Pyro application. With Chevreuse's C1, you can help Cyno's energy issues if he is able to overload consistently, which he should be with Xiangling and a Pyro shielder
Because he's better with dendro.

@@Lenn1z Everything she uses is out. Neuv's boss mats, Order talents, flowers from Fontaine, Narwahl weekly for 7-10 talents.

I have a team plan like this, but unsure if this will be good or not:
Chevreuse
Bennett (noblesse)
Yae Miko (TTDS+ Millelith)
Yoimiya
So, my idea was to give Yoimiya all the ATK buffs and -40% res debuff to enemies.
Chevreuse = 40% ATK + -40% RES
Bennett = 1k+ ATK + 20% ATK
Yae Miko = 48% ATK + 20% ATK
Pyro resonance = 25% ATK
In total, Yoimiya will get 1k+ ATK + 153% ATK and the enemy will get -40% RES debuff.
But when I tested this (without Chevreuse), she doesn't do good compared to my usual Bennett Kazuha Xingqiu team.
So I'm not sure if Chevreuse is worth pulling or not...
The overload may also knock everything away from yae totems
i believe with chevreuse she will deal more in the same set up team. while it might knock enemies back, u can still dash here cuz u dont hav to follow the auto pattern recommended for vape yoimiya, and as yoimiya is a bow character she still has decent range.
chevreuse can permanently refresh debuff from off field compared to kazuha who needs to be on field to reactivate VV set debuff.
id still recommend vs multiple enemies to use the kazuha vape variation for cc, as mentioned in the guide, while keeping chevreuse overload variation against bosses.

Since she is overload based, why not building her with EM? With every enemies sent flying from overload, do you even need healing?
Because she isn't going to be the one proccing the overload reactions, it would be her teammates, and these would very much rather habe attack over EM. Plus overloaded doesn't have good escaling, it's a decent reaction as a byproduct of other reactions, you can look at it as a nice little bit of additional damage but right now there is no character that wants to play around doing damage with that reaction alone.
The only teams I can see Chevreuse working on right now are Raiden hypercarry and Yoimiya with Fischl and Bennett or Sara.
Tho it is being rumoured that she is meant to support either Arlecchino or Clorinde, so we will have to see
Overload can't push the bosses lmao
I'll only be repeating what @Zoalde said, but overload is not an amplifying reaction like vaporize where it is worth it building for EM. Building for attack and DMG% is better than EM. only small enemies can be knocked back by overload, some larger enemies won't. HP% adds to bur attack buff, so even if you have Bennett and the healing is not a problem, it is still beneficial to build for HP to increase your DPS's damage.

honestly i feel like something like that would be hard. its hard cause would there be a way to not stop electro charge/vape to happen before a overload ya know
By putting Furina on a Chevreuse team, you would lose Chevreuse’s first ascension passive that requires only pyro and electro characters on your team in order to reduce the pyro and electro resistances of enemies when an overload reaction is triggered. Since that’s an essential part of Chevreuse’s kit, it’s not recommended to put Furina (or any other non pyro/electro character) on a Chevreuse team.
Only somewhat viable if your at C6. And her healing is likely not going to be enough unless your going for HP% Sands/Goblet/Weapon and Healing bonus circlet.

I added a filter to normalize volume, that's why it's so low. Hopefully the next videos won't have this issue.
