After a day of playing her, I feel like it's actually easier to set up a viable B-Team first then let Raiden's A-Team adjust with whatever's left on your account. She will absolutely dominate her side of the abyss regardless. She really is that flexible.

Raiden is very flexible and can serve just fine as a sub dps if you have multiple main DPS's just for her skill alone (electro infusion). Small advice for next time. things like around 21:00 maybe put the combo's on screen as text. Bit hard to understand. Looking forward to updated 2 with Chevie. I want to try Bennet/Chevie/Raiden/Sara. Or perhaps Furina/chevie/raiden/sara (fanfare may be hard to build)? Also I will add as someone who has had Raiden c0+her weapon since she came out in 2021 she is fun, she is great, BUT she is needy. Building her will require months to years of building since you don't build her nearly as easily as some hp% scaler. So if you do plan to pull prepare to suffer the emblem domain grind. That said there is a plus! Emblem is used by several characters so even if you don't get what you need you could build Xinqiu, Sara, Xiangling, yoimiya (shiminewa). And both artifacts have good 2 pieces. Don't roll for c2 from the getgo. Just wait for a rerun for that so you can at least see if you will be a raiden (/ganyu) main like me!

Also as far as building raiden a simple hyperbloom build on her is super easy while your work on emblem and its soooo powerful. Slap all EM, Dragons bane and good to go. A nice solution while the emblem suffer goes down lol

Raiden Sunfire is incredibly fun and powerful. Pyro is consistently being Swirled so that Furina can vape, while Raiden benefits from Furina, Bennett, and Jean's VV + Overload damage. The weakness of this team lies in smaller enemies pulling you out of CIRCLE IMPACT, resulting in a significant loss of damage. However, when facing bosses, you'll certainly clap some cheeks.
Navia + Raiden + Xingqui + Zhongli (or Albedo, Gorou, or any geo that goes well with Navia) a fun double carry team. Used them in the last abyss and loved it.
Navia is a blast to play and the possibilities are so endless. I dont thin gorou synergizes with her but you still get the geo res. Thanks for sharing. :)
"Ei is queen". That team of zhongli nahida shogun and furina sounds like a lot of fun and I have almost all the things to use it now. Just not furina so kinda wish I didn't skip her for a super shogun. Oh well guess if I remember her in a year I'll try to roll for her for that team as my nahida is already c2

My problem with Raiden after just getting her yesterday. I barely get to use her burst ;-;. She increases my team members damage so much that they annihilate everything while I'm building resolve stacks itself.😂
My shogun has an attack goblet with energy recharge. I just need those extra constellations and I'm good to go. She's still a main stay in my abyss teams and with the power boost I'll be able to do more damage quicker as that's my problem when fighting the last abyss nodes

Man took me 280 wishes to get c2, looked dicey at first but got 2 early drops after losing the 50:50. Wasn’t gonna get her weapon but dropped it at 42 pity, first time I’ve ever pulled for a weapon. Now just got to deal with resin restrictions and probably wait a month until i get useable artifacts 😭
As for weapons. I took her main weapon off and put her on death match for her Crt rate. Until I get sub stats in the crit rate I'll switch back to her main weapon.
I mean you can def play her how you life no doubt about it but I would strongly say if you are using NAs outside of burst you gotta adjust your rotation. As a primary DPS she should only be on field for her burst uptime to playoptimally. But with that being said you can def play however you like.

Yes exactly. An entirely new completely OP comp for an already unbelievably strong character. I dont think we will see her losing relevancy any time soon!
Any advice on hitting certain milestones on the stats for some characters? I've got full HP% (Sand and Goblet; Heal% Circlet) on Chevreuse and coming up 3k short of maximum passive buff and Raiden herself is landing 50% short of the 300% ER (ER Sands, R5 Catch). I'm guessing I just need to land better substats? It's pretty frustrating, because many of my substats are a good spread but just didn't land full focus on one thing or another, lol. Example: I have Crit Rate/DMG, ATK%, AND ER% on a Flower for Raiden, but the stat buffing landed all across them rather than on any one stat.
Well a balanced piece can def be great. The hard part is replicating that across the board. But heres a quick suggestion and correct me if I misunderstood you. You are running the catch and have 300 ER? With the catch it would be more optimal to drop some ER. 250% would be more than enough here and might allow you to adjust some more crit heavy or attack based pieces in place. I mean if you are ER sands at 300 I would go to attack and if it has ER sub on it even better but that could open up different pieces to help you complete your build. Hope that answers your question :)
250 would be a solid point. To get great value out of 4 piece emblem and have 100% uptime. If you have engulfing 275 would be the limit I would go to max on the attack bonus.

Its a good question. You can always fish for the catch unless it is already being used. If it is then I would def go for her weapon over cons. If you dont have the catch yet, its fishing time haha Then I would use that and go for cons. C2 is such a massive personal dps boost for her! Good luck in your wishes!
You double dendro will certainly work! You can swirl with other characters such as jean, or lynette who can add vv but double dendro will be perfectly fine!

I built the raiden national team yesterday and it works out really well, however, I just do not like Bennett because of the %heal (I am used to Diona shields&heals). Is there a viable alternative to bennett or am I stuck with him?
This is a great question. The big thing is his attack boost that just offers so much value especially because of the synergy with Xiangling too then raiden can comfortably combo while on field. Diona is an option but it would add melt into the mix and could certainly be tough. Jean would definitely be a solid choice but at that point you would be better off replacing XQ with furina and just making it a diff comp. With that being said this comp can def be a powerhouse.
The crit stat is nice but the passive will not be optimal for her. In an EM build you dont need crit and in a crit build you dont need EM so the other weapon options are preferable. WIth that being said if thats the weap you have it can certainly work.
You can but it wouldnt be a international anymore. You would be adding overload. Tbh international is such a great team I would consider keeping it as is and using raiden for your second comp. With that being said it would work but you may lose some dps from having two on field drivers
Hell yes you can lol. I would recommend attack gob for raiden and a maiden set or full heal set for benny. Raiden will see a bigger benefit by higher base attack in this scenario because furina offers such an insane buff as well as the electro damage she already gets from her kit based on ER. Solid team!

Ive just gone back to genshin after 3 years and i had a stack of primo to pull this banner. Is this banner as a team viable? I assume the rotation is similar to the bennet kazuha sara one? What id i also swap chev for xl, is this a good idea?
I freakin love this question. Yes this banner can certainly be used exactly as you said. Often we would go Xingqui instead of sara but if you want more raiden damage you can def make it work!

Hey great question. So you can use it and switch buttt you are leaving a lot on the table there. The damage is one thing but during her burst uptime you are drastically loading your team mates up with energy. If you have enough energy on everyone already and want to treat her as a quick swap do it up for sure but test it both ways to see the better outcome given your team comp and builds

My Raiden is sitting at 63.1% Crt rate, 202.3 Crit dmg, 238.8% ER, 102.1% Electro DMG
As for weapons. I took her main weapon off and put her on death match for her Crt rate. Until I get sub stats in the crit rate I'll switch back to her main weapon.

Haha well we used a few accounts but if its mine I run staff of scarlet sands and the build is pretty nutty can get 80k plus often.
Imagine having a GOOD Raiden. She's now my auto bot, along with zhongli, nahida and fischl. Just do 4 skills and go afk for about 10 seconds

This is a great question. The big thing is his attack boost that just offers so much value especially because of the synergy with Xiangling too then raiden can comfortably combo while on field. Diona is an option but it would add melt into the mix and could certainly be tough. Jean would definitely be a solid choice but at that point you would be better off replacing XQ with furina and just making it a diff comp. With that being said this comp can def be a powerhouse.

The crit stat is nice but the passive will not be optimal for her. In an EM build you dont need crit and in a crit build you dont need EM so the other weapon options are preferable. WIth that being said if thats the weap you have it can certainly work.

You can but it wouldnt be a international anymore. You would be adding overload. Tbh international is such a great team I would consider keeping it as is and using raiden for your second comp. With that being said it would work but you may lose some dps from having two on field drivers

Hell yes you can lol. I would recommend attack gob for raiden and a maiden set or full heal set for benny. Raiden will see a bigger benefit by higher base attack in this scenario because furina offers such an insane buff as well as the electro damage she already gets from her kit based on ER. Solid team!

78% no brainer. If the 8% makes you crit where you wouldnt of before you have more than covered the 20k damage loss.

No your party needs to only have electro and pyro for chevreuse to work

I freakin love this question. Yes this banner can certainly be used exactly as you said. Often we would go Xingqui instead of sara but if you want more raiden damage you can def make it work!

Hey great question. So you can use it and switch buttt you are leaving a lot on the table there. The damage is one thing but during her burst uptime you are drastically loading your team mates up with energy. If you have enough energy on everyone already and want to treat her as a quick swap do it up for sure but test it both ways to see the better outcome given your team comp and builds
