Yes, Dan Martin - not sure how we failed to mention him, but with the season he's had it would be a surprise not to see him hit the headlines during the Vuelta at some point.
Vamos con todo Rigo y Bananito. Angliru is hard? you must see mountain stages such as Letras, Linea, Minas, Boqueron & Pintada in Colombia..... that's bloody hard, even Coppi assessed them as inhuman.. I LOVE CYCLING
that would be funny to see those guys inspecting the climb + live talking at the steepest parts while heart rate above 180 bpm :). seriously, would love to see some HD footage and inspection at these 20% ramps
Think the top 5 will be Henao, Betancur, Purito, Nibali and Valverde. Dan Martin will get a stage win. Cancellara should have a good shot at the time trial.
Carlos Betancur a tour contender for sure and future grand tour winner for sure. He may surprise us. I think Valverde may do well, the course suits. El Angliru I think will decide the winner, it's a beast. The hardest climb in Europe, for me harder than Zoncolan. Regarding Miller, well he moans about anything. He abandoned the Vuelta in 2002, was just another moan. When Simoni a pure climber one of the greatest ever climbers, won with ease that day.
Ever heard of watts/kilo? Professional cyclists are supposed to be skinny and they have the perfect weight for their objectives dialed in. Also, cyclists carry weight where they need it, in the legs, and hardly anywhere else. Like me.
In a couple of videos you've talked about David Millar pulling out on the Angliru in protest of it's difficulty, but from reading his book I thought he pulled out for a number of reasons including the general state of cycling at that time.
Requests for your Vuelta coverage - I'd like a video of Dan, Simon & Matt Stephens racing each other up the Angliru for the stage preview video! Mwah ha ha (evil laugh)!
i have to say i think dan martin for a stage win or two and a top ten finish.he was ill in the tour so hoping for good things.another top video lads.keep up the great work.
I'm looking forward to Zdenek Stybar. He won the Eneco Tour and is stronger then ever on some climbs. If he manages to break away, he'll be a tough one to catch.
13 Mountain stages, and the penultimate stage on the Angliru...later on we talking about doping again. The organicers are crazy.. This years Vuelta is to hard.

We think you're right, we expect Ten Dam and Mollema to be up there, but not necessarily going for the win.
Yes that's true, but the Angliru was the catalyst for sure.

i think the duo Ten Dam and Mollema will have a chance to do something but betancur and nibali are the big guys to look out for if you ask me
i know but Ten Dam is gonna be the leader and Mollema to help him in the mountains and maybe take a stage win
I hope you will be covering the USA Pro Cycling challenge. The fans are just as crazy as the ones from europe
