Since a lot of people are misunderstanding, as mentioned in the video credits, I want to reiterate that I DID NOT MAKE the animation. It was all done by @hmh_szns from Twitter. What I did was add the voice and the rest of the audio.

Now I feel terrible, knowing that I have never ever saw him bow to me before the fight. The very first time I was mashing the x key, knowing that I’ll be screwed if I won’t hit him the first second.
I love this!! I've always thought that the raspy voice was just an intimidation tactic, something he could slip in and out of at will, just because of his actor vibes, I'm sure he can switch into all sorts of voices. I really love how his voice became more threatening towards the end, that's such a nice touch!

Everyone does memes on this but this is actual lore heres my theory: you can hear the grimmchild making noise every now and then the grimmchild voice is far away from grimms voice and as the grimmchild grows its voice gets a bit smoother step by step so cannonically when it reaches its adulthood it shall have a smooth voice but as it ages and leads the troupe it has to do mamy exhausting tasks and to sustain itself its probably fed by the scarlet flame aswell and as it gets older it consumes more of it which makes its dreams more nightmarish extinguishing the original voice to a more "GRIMM" one

Any other voice (like if you gave him a deep gravelly one) Wouldn’t convey the manipulation needed to convince somebody to continue the ritual especially after figuring out it leads to a difficult fight.
I always heared "show them you are worthy, of a story" and I think it's pretty neat, like not a story he's gonna tell you but a story of your journey as a legend
