It is so sweet of you to genuinely thank your viewers for the support and making the Hartley possible. THANK YOU for everything you have done to help teach, motivate and inspire thousands of new gardeners (like myself) to see what’s possible in their own spaces. You deserve that greenhouse and I’m thankful that we (your viewers) could help make it possible.
Perfectly said, Rob!
She’s simply awesome! I love seeing ppl happy and successful!
So wonderful to see how joyful Laura is spending more time in the Hartley. If we, the viewers, helped make this joy possible, then Yay! The amount of information and pleasure that we have gotten over the years from this channel is priceless.
Well said Rob.
I know... she's a genuine lovely woman who comes from a very loving family. Good has blessed them.
IDEA! How about putting a decorative towel bar in front of the sink with some pretty hand towels hanging on it. This would cover some of the pipes but add convenience for towels, as well. I absolutely LOVE your channel and have for years!! ♥️😊
Yes! And painting the pipes etc underneath black + towel hanging I think that whole underneath utility type area would just disappear
Fabulous idea!
Great idea 💡
Video Idea: As you were checking for spider mites on the plant at Home Depot I thought a great idea for a video would be to show the things to check for when buying plants, flowers, even vegetable plants. So many people may just have a “big box” store option where the quality might not be as good as a garden center and I think a video like this would be so helpful! Thanks!
I believe I brought the ones I brought home was from Lowes😩
Good idea.
How beautiful the Hartley is coming! I definitely would put the Christmas tree in the center so it would look magical from either side you are on in there. Also I would put a small refrigerator under the counter for the entertaining and cocktail parties you would like to have in there. Especially Christmas time when people like to come stop by for a visit and a a cocktail! It would be convenient. Summer as well for a cold lemonade😊.
I agree!!!
Exactly!!!
That would make it complete!
You could put a small trickling fountain in the Hartley. Would be lovely to listen to the water when sipping on cocktails!
And add some humidity for the plants. 🌱👍
Yes! I like that idea!!
Ambiance...definitely ❣️
Fountain in the Hartley sounds wonderful.
The problem I see with that is there has never been a small fountain that I have found attractive. Maybe there are some out there. But I find that most of them are kind of cheesy and she has a really particular taste.
For a "matching" saucer for your concrete pots, buy the spray-paint that has the 'stone look' in a similar grey and then spray the outside of the plastic saucers. It's not perfect but it's really good at not leaking (plastic) but really fools the eye as it's "blends" with the concrete pot. I even do this for terra cotta too, as the terra cotta saucers, not glazed, are notorious "ring makers" on wood lol. SO gorgeous , in LOVE with your Hartley.
Yes! or go to Ikea and buy cheap plates in grey or black...
Ingenious!
Yes! Great idea. I thank spraying will work perfectly!
@@brendafarley3434 I also buy oil based spray paint and you can spray the Inside of the plastic grey (the oil based is water repellent)
I used thrift store glass plates! The glass, imo, looks nice with the concrete.
Congratulations Laura, I can’t think of a more deserving person than you to have the opportunity to realize your biggest dreams. You are such a grateful person for all the wonderful things that have come your way in life. I was so impressed with your appreciation of the sacrifices your parents made to give you piano lessons when you were a child, I’m sure you made your mom cry😉
Taking the time to very genuinely thank us , your followers, for making these dreams a reality is so sweet of you.. I’m sure I speak for many, we are grateful for you and Aaron for bringing us along your life journey. Your blessings in life are so deserving, thank YOU Laura❤️
Dear Laura and family it is with great pleasure that I can say " you are an incredible person" I enjoy listening to you talk about everything , I don't think I have seen anyone one on u- tube that gives me more pleasure to follow "..
With that being said I have loss my husband of 52 years in January 2023 , I was a loss person as you can imagine... I have a great love for gardening, so with watching you on line has helped me over this bump, I want to say to you Laura " thank you so much "...
Hugs to you and your family...
Christmas tree right in the center! Imagine walking up to the Hartley and the door framing this beautifully decorated tree! I can’t even wait!
I loved the one Laura put up earlier just to see how it would look.
@@lynettedaniels1236 me too!! I think that with clear glass ornaments and like rose gold earthy tone ornaments would be phenomenal!
yes!.....tall skinny XMas tree in the center
That's exactly what I was thinking.
Yes, she did that this past winter, but mentioned she needed brighter lights to compete with all the landscaping lights.
Laura, here is an idea for a sink skirt: Look for a really elegant shower curtain,(the outside cloth part of a shower curtain), and cut it to the length you need and sew a pocket big enough for a tension rod. I figure if they are made for the shower area they can handle getting wet or rinse off easy.
Terrific idea!!
excellent idea!
Great idea!!!
That’s what I was thinking
It think Laura's thought about just hiding the plumbing with pots is the best idea
"Who wouldn't want to live in here. I would if I was a plant." Me too, Laura. Me too! The Hartley is beautiful!
Yeah, I don’t get using a hothouse for people living. Seems nuts to me when they have a big house.
I replied "I do!!! to that question.
Polly , I was typing the very same thing and then noiced your comment. Perfect!i
Imagine sitting in the Hartley, reading a book and having tea on a cold rainy day! Ugh ny dream
Not just a “pinch me” moment. I was getting a little choked up for you. You’ve waited so patiently for the time when you could actually set up/pot up plants in the Hartley and here you are! Such an exciting moment. Congratulations!
Yes, I also got choked up a bit! Such a special, heartfelt moment.
"who wouldn't want to live in here?" *Everyone raises their hand, er leaf.* What fun to finally set up the fancy new space!
Me! 🙋♀️🌿🌱🌿
Laura, my mother always used cute, attractive plates instead of the glaring plastic saucers. You can find random plates at yard sales. They could even have an imperfection or chip that won’t be noticed most likely.
I love how you use different formal /semi-formal / cottage / cozy styles in your videos. So fun to see how much you enjoy what you do! Thank you!
Watching Laura's face as she talked about how excited she was to be sitting in the Hartley was such joy. I consider my little contribution each month as well spent. Thank you Laura and Aaron for starting my day with not only great information but with a smile and positive outlook in life.
I feel the same. When I realized this was a mainstay channel on YT, I decided to pay for their content. Nice to receive pinned flowers by our name in appreciation. Thanks Garden Answer❤️🌸🌼🌺🌹🌷💐
Isn't that the truth... I'd rather watch garden answer than anything on tv.
Same here!
I love how the Hartly is coming together. It's beautiful. I think the Christmas tree should be right in tbe middle where the small table is now. Oh how beautiful it would be!
Agree. Narrow tree in center, replacing the table. Could even add a few small ones on counters and tables. :-)
@@paulet990 that would be gorgeous!
How wonderful to be able to follow you from our Nova Scotian home! Just loving every minute of your videos! I told my Mom, "Wouldn't it be super great to have her here for a couple days." Oh my, you are so amazing and all the beautiful work your doing on your property! Every day I watch for you and I say to Mom, "Oh, there's my girl!" Love it, ❤️ Love it, Love it! Keep up the great work 👍 So nice of you to take us on your shopping trips as well! Thanks so much!!! 🤗💞
You almost had me in tears with you on the opening statements. We are grateful you have shared your journey with us. You have taught us so much. We all have grown as gardeners because of you. Thank you! You earned that Hartley!
Paint the pipes under the sink black. Think that will help with overall look.😁
A curtain is in the works.
That's a great idea!
Good 💡 idea!
Christmas tree in the center . Everything looks amazing. One thing I learned is that you can’t rush creative freedom. Sometimes you have to sit in the place and wait until you have furniture in place than add the finishing touches. I love how you don’t rush it.
I'm a visual person too and it's taking me months to decorate my sunroom. Take your time ☺️
Oh Laura, it's SO beautiful! I love how it's evolving and coming together. I'd do a tall, skinny tree right in the center.
Yes! Floor to ceiling
I’m so happy to see you finally able to use your Hartley the way you want to. Your excitement is so sweet!
50 years ago, as all good brides did back then, I registered for “good” china to use on special occasions….I’ve almost never used it. So I now use the different size plates for pot saucers and the coffee/tea cups I put succulents in and don’t water very much. Now I get to enjoy my china along with some beautiful plants! Love your videos and thank you for teaching and entertaining me. I’m so privileged to have you as a part of my on line family! 💕
I think one tall skinny tree in the center of the Hartley would be beautiful! So happy to see this video today, I know you’ve been looking forward to adding in plants for a long time. We share the excitement with you in this big moment, and it gets me in the mood
to put some pretty potted plants around in my kitchen! ♥️
Hi Laura,
Greetings from Hampshire, England. It was such a pleasure watching the evident joy you got from putting plants into your lovely greenhouse, like a child at Christmas! You asked for our thoughts on decorating the space for that season, since I stopped having cut trees in my conservatory (the underfloor heating just crisped them!) and moved to artificial I started a new tradition of bringing a live 3/4ft potted Norway Spruce into the house just before Christmas and decorating it with collected vintage stuff from my earliest memories, rich glowing incandescent C7 lights, with fragile looking silver tinsel and glass decorations shimmering with reflected colour. The tree sits on a table in front of an upstairs window and It is very much the traditional tree that you can sit and stare at and is the first thing I see when waking on Christmas morning. I think a version of this would also look terrific in your very traditional greenhouse!
Sweet! It was wonderful to see the absolute joy and excitement on your face. I feel like I speak for many when I say it made my heart smile to see you so happy! Thank you for sharing the beauty you so flawlessly create!
The space is calling for a collection of herbs that you can use for cocktail garnish. Sitting around that table with a Lavender Lemonade or a
Cucumber, Basil & Lime Gimlet cocktail would be divine!
The tantalizing aroma alone calls for a YES❣️Great idea.
This would be a restart to your cocktail garden that pregnancy put to a kibosh. Good idea!
@@pat9604 and container she planted that in would look good in the space as well
I had the same thoughts🍹
Time to bring Mom and sister over for a cocktail open (Hartley) house celebration.
It’s “garden love glue” you send things out (lessons, laughter, and garden beauty) it comes back and sticks to you. Thanks for many years of sharing. 😊🙏🏽❤️🪴🌻🌹🌞
Yay! Laura deserves ALL the 'pinch me moments'.
I watched Jay Leno mention-
how his father ...
brought home a burlap living xmas tree each year
After December, he planted along their driveway. So they ended up with tons, God's blessing. Creates nice memory to year you bought them.
Also- houseplant personality is fun... closer to outdoors. Kind of different territory, view for them. They are cute about being taken care of, fussed over...not as wild as perennials. Clean the air too.
Neat dining area set up, beautiful arrangements.
Love how the Hartley is coming along! My vote is a tall skinny Christmas tree in the center.
Laura, you and Aaron work so hard to fulfill your dreams and are so giving with your time and abundant crops, whether they be flowers or food, you deserve the Hartley and every bit of joy that you feel! Your exuberance spills out of every pore of your being and fills us viewers with such happiness not only for ourselves but also for you and your family. I’ve learned so much over the years while following you and know I will continue to. Even if I didn’t, I love being on this journey with you and watching your property expand and develop! You have made it BEAUTIFUL! God truly has gifted you with all of the talents you possess! When you talked about this being a “pinch me” moment in the Hartley I thought of the Bible verse, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen”. Ephesians 3:20. I’m certain you have thought of that verse many times… May God continue to bless you and us through you❣️❤️
That 'power' that works in us is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Bible scriptures are written for the saints' edification. To become a saint, one must obey the directive of Jesus the Christ to be born again of water and of the Spirit. Water is baptism by full emersion at an age of understanding and Spirit is to receive Gods gift of the Holy Ghost and Fire with the Holy Bible scriptures evidence of speaking in an unknown tongue as the Spirit gives utterance just like on the day of Pentecost. God is a Spirit and He seeketh such to worship Him. Repent, be baptised and sincerely ask God for His gift of the Holy Ghost and Fire. Simply think about God with your whole heart, mind and soul saying hallelujah over and over until you feel your tongue wanting to change and just let it. It is your spirit praying making intercession for you because the natural mind is at enmity with God.

Yes to ALL the Christmas trees in ALL the places!!!! Lights!!!! ❤️❤️
I've only seen you smile this much when you introduced us to Samantha Grace. Each time you were walking through the doors, you were carrying a plant, a pot, and a smile! Even with all the unexpected Hartley glitches, I'm so thankful you've shared this joyful journey with us. (ps...I vote for a Christmas tree in the center, but not as big in diameter as last year's.)
Credit where it is due. WE would not be here if it were not for your and Aaron's hard work and diligence. The quality of your channel has improved throughout the seasons and that is what keeps us here (and the babies 🥰). You are a blessing for many of us and I pray many more blessings on you and your family.
You have earned the Hartley !!!! Enjoy it.
The Hartley Greenhouse is so beautiful, I would love to have a room like that. Love Love.
I think a large tree in the middle of the Hartley as a center piece would be stunningly gorgeous!
I pick up glass plates at thrift shops to use under house plants. They are cheap and look better than plastic. It is not a good solution for bigger pots but works for small and medium size plants.
I’ve found some chargers that seem to work for bigger plants.
The Hartley is absolutely wonderful! For Christmas, I would put a full size tree in the center where the little table is. I think it will be beautiful decorated. Also have you considered painting the pipes under the sink black? Then you wouldn’t have to use a “ skirt”.
Black duct tape around the pvc
The Hartley is a crown jewel. Love the addition of the plants and table. For under your counter top I would have a white wood front built with sliding doors that open up to shelves for storage. You could put a mini fridge for drinks and shelves to put disposable eatery, napkins and drink ware. That way you could bring out sandwiches or whatever and gather the things you need to enjoy that outdoor experience in the Hartley. Would be so fun to do that. I think it would make a lovely addition to the space matching the white in the Hartley. Keep up the good work!
What a magical moment seeing the first plants placed in the Hartley ✨
My vote goes for tall/slender in the middle.
Laura, I just discovered your channel this past fall. You have inspired me so much that I rearranged and redesigned both my front and back yards. I have been gardening for 50+yrs, taken several community college classes during that time, but I've learned about so many different new plants, short cuts and techniques (auger bit!!) that have helped to take my spring and summer gardening to a whole new level. Your passion, enthusiasm and encouragement are absolutely contagious, a gift to us all.
BTW, I'm a viewer from San Francisco N Bay Area, zone 9b
This mornings video of seeing you bring in plants etc into the Hartley was very special!
Thank you for all you and Aaron do and for taking us along your journey!
Happy gardening, I’m in Melbourne and retired a few years ago and spend all my time on gardening, lovely to be part of such a large gardening community.
We are all living vicariously through you Laura and so your sheer delight at the Hartley makes us so happy too! If it were me, I would not put any Christmas lights anywhere near the Hartley and then do a full tree (remove the small table) and see what that turns out like. Make it the centrepiece!! Looking forward to all of that 😃. All the best from the Cotswolds, England 🧡💚
You two are inspirational!... and your Mom!!
You have given so much of yourselves you are so welcome and paying it forward is such a joy thank you.
It's been fun to see you two realize your opportunities over the last almost 10 years. UA-cam is the only source I use for "reality" tv - since "shows" like yours are very organic (ha!). You both deserve all the success your hard work has brought you.
I'm loving how this looks! I would totally do a tall skinny tree right in the middle for Christmas. I think the tree would be such a show stopper right in the center, and a table top just wouldn't have the same impact. You could even use the ornaments you hand made, using flowers from your garden and all natural elements. I can't wait to see the space come alive!
FINALLY! Thrilled to see you enjoying your beautiful Hartley at long last! I LOVE everything you have done and thank you Laura for the heartfelt acknowledgment of your viewers part in making it possible. It is such a LOVELY space, the realization of a dream 😊
Hello, my name is Rebecca. I am 69 years young. I would say keep the tree in the middle floor so you can see it from every point of your green house. Use a real tree. Maby a real potted tree.
May I say how much I enjoyed you video on your green house. It is such a blessing to be a part of your gardening. It makes me so happy. I have a mobile home with very little area to plant. I love gardening. It makes me so happy. I am trying to garden and plant in the small places I have.
It is a learning experience for me to watch your videos. They are so inspiring.
I also am a Christmas fanatic. I love Christmas, its my only and favorite holiday. So I love your videos on Christmas too. Thank You.
Good morning everyone! This is so fun!!! I’m so happy for Laura, seeing her having such a great time decorating and outfitting her Hartley is wonderful and a day we’ve been looking forward to🥰 My wish for you all out there is that you will or have a fun garden space to enjoy like Laura is enjoying hers!🌸
What a kind & loving thought from you, Angela. 💓 I'm happy Laura & Aaron have good people following them.
@Angela Engler ~ Thank you! Good morning to you also! May you enjoy your little piece of garden joy too!
Laura I'm so happy for you. So many people get stuck in the wishing, hoping, 'someday' stage and never move on to the 'action' stage to make their dreams come true. You and Aaron are 'do-ers' and 'action-takers' to ensure your hearts desires become reality. I find that so admirable. Life is too short to wish & hope.
Well said, and so true.. 💜💜💜
I love the idea of a tall skinny tree in the middle and a couple smaller trees or plants with lights. Beautiful!
Your humble and grateful attitude is so refreshing. I love your Q&As and shopping trips with your mom especially. You and your whole family are truly a bright spot on the Internet! Thank you!
Oh,Laura it’s wonderful seeing you start on the interior of the Hartley! We’ve waited right along with you for this day. Your excitement is contagious and your humility touching. I realize this is a business, but you still make us feel welcomed and keep it as personal as possible. Thank you! My suggestion about the Christmas tree is, take out the small table and have a floor tree. 🥰🪴🎊
I wonder if you could keep a blue hydrangea in the Hartley! I know they don’t do well in the landscape but it might be a chance to have one! Maybe in a large blue and white planter.
The Hartley is looking so cozy and wonderful with all the plants in it! Maybe just paint the pipes under the sink black and call it a day!
Just watched your Mom's Q & A part 2, mentioning her love of glass/crystal items and reminded me to suggest a thick glass dish or platter for your concrete pots as a saucer. I've reused old and chipped china dishes as a pot saucer, too! We are amazed at watching all the improvements you've made along the way to your lovely house and garden, especially this Hartley. I agree w/ most people here about placing a skinny Christmas tree in the middle as the focal point entering the grand greenhouse, the Hartley. Keep up with the great idea, we love em!!! 🪴 💓🌱
I am building a Hartley greenhouse too. I'll send pics when it's done.
I love to see your joy.
Congratulations! Awesome. We are all inspired by GA.
How exciting! 👏Congrats!! We all want a Hartley--thanks to Laura!
Congrats!! So exciting!
“This is a philodendron, right?” Is actually a Monstera deliciosa, Monstera and philodendron are not from the same family. Even here in Florida where we are usually more familiar with tropicals, sometimes I see them tagged incorrectly.
Laura, it was SO much fun watching you bring your plants into the Hartley. Your patience has been just amazing to me.
And they can get very big and Wild
It looked like she had a Monstera Deliciosa and a Philodendron in that same pot. The big leaf one the Monstera and the small leaf one a Philodendron?
@@daniellefolker2519 , could be, I didn’t notice a philo leaf, just saw the Monstera. I’ve heard her call it a philodendron twice before in videos taken at her parent’s store when she was looking at houseplants.
Such a joy to see your happiness with your Hartley. I vote for a tall, skinny tree in the middle.
Your sweet humility is so charming. You are living my dream, and it is satisfyingly fun to watch.
I love seeing peoples dreams come true. You've wanted this for so long and to see it come to fruition is amazing.
A tree in the middle would be perfect. Love the furniture and the bee pillows. It’s all so beautiful! Now the Hartley is screaming for a garden party.
Are you kidding me, FINALLY !!! ooohhh so perfectly beautiful 🤩🫠👏👏👏♥️🫶🏻🫠🙃🕶😎🎶🎶🎶
Agreed, no need for a skirt. Maybe just paint the white pipe black so it disappears behind a stack of your beautiful pots. I'm inspired by your updates of the Hartley and so enjoy watching Bejamin "help" you with projects :)
For the concrete planters get some terra cotta saucers and paint them with a stone look spray paint
Laura - just had a ‘lightbulb moment’ for covering the front of the sink area in the Hartley! Heard you mention needing towels handy - so instead of a curtain, why not add a small tension rod across the top of the counter legs (just under the sink area) for hanging towels? Or you could use wooden closet rod and stain it to match the wood on the counter legs! If the towels aren’t long enough to cover all the mechanics underneath the sink - you might even be able to add a second rod down lower (which could hold shorter hand towels or washcloths). As for the Christmas tree - definitely put it in the center of the Hartley! Can’t wait to see it lit up at Christmas!
I agree with every one of Mary Lynn’s suggestions.
Spray paint the pipe and bottom of the sink to match the wood- all will disappear.
How thrilling to be working in the Hartley! It is almost surreal!
Enjoy as you have earned it!
Yes Christmas tree in center!!!!
You have waited so long to bring the Hartley to life. You did exactly that today. It's absolutely stunning. It's not even mine and I'm excited.🤣🎉💗
You are so sweet to thank us for you being able to get your beautiful space. We should thank you for allowing us to be in your space everyday. I’m so excited to see this Hartley transform with the flowers and pots. I’m just smiling from ear to ear for you. Beautiful beautiful just love it. ♥️♥️Well deserved!!
This video was so exciting! We can feel your enthusiasm right through the screen! I was smiling the whole time! 😊
You deserve it Laura (the Hartley that is) - you’ve worked so hard to get it. A wonderful achievement and your excitement is infectious. You’ve got me excited about planning for fall/winter inside and what my setup could be. Your tree last year in there was gorgeous but I like the idea of a trio of trees on the counter so that they sit in those beautiful tall windows at the end of the Hartley. Enjoy the new space- it’s shaping up nicely!!
I am so happy for you Laura. I can imagine the happy butterflies in your stomach.
I have a suggestion at the sink, put a stair stepped standing towel rack, underneath the sink, put your towels on it that. This covers up the underneath side of the sink, and allows you a place for your towels! I think it would look pretty!
I love the idea of the towel rod in front to the sink. Maybe anchor it to the table. Make it as long as you want. A distraction from the pipes. Paint the pipes black, white screams look at me.
This is so exciting 🥳 I’m so happy that you’re now able to really see the Hartley come together. I was watching an old video from a few years ago and you happened to mention in it that having a Hartley where the gazebo was at the time was a pipe dream for you. Fast forward and here you are 🤗 I’m loving watching this come together
Tall skinny Christmas tree in the middle gets my vote! With simple wreaths on the doors! Oh, how pretty and festive that would be!!
I have to say that this video was one of the best in a while. You are just glowing!!! Here's to watching the Hartley and surrounding garden develop. How exciting!
Loving this space! I love the idea of just stacking pots around the sink drain to take the focus off of it. I would have a hard time not finding a reason to spend a lot of time in here! I would buy a tall skinny tree and put it on the floor in the middle. Thanks for all the inspiration!
Small tree in the center , no table … and maybe a vintage small table fan for when your working on the sink end 🌻love it all ♥️
Yes, no table in center
If you listened to her … she did say they are planning on having some breakfasts and dinners in the Hartley.
@@leslieollerhead1114 yes, at her new table she just received . I was speaking of the table that has the smoke bush arrangement on it in the center 🌻
I’m voting for the Christmas tree in the center. It would be so grand and balanced there. It’s so exciting to see this space come together! So happy for you!
A grouping of poinsettias in the shape of a tree would be spectacular in the Hartley! Congratulations! Thanks for this lovely video.
Hi Laura, just warning about that antique table, the wood on top will absolutely fade with it being in direct sun. Also, it looks like it's a veneered top. With the heat from the sun, the glue on the veneer will fail and the wood veneer itself will dry and you will find it will warp. Not the best place for it, for its longevity.
She could add a plexiglass tinted top to protect.
Or have another top made like you did in the studio. You had two tops made, one dark and one light. This would protect the original table top.
I love how you're blown away by the greenhouse still. I don't think you'll ever quite believe you have it. You have it Laura, it's yours fill and enjoy at your leisure x
I am so happy that you have the beloved Hartley and that you love sharing with us. What you ate doing is really pretty!
I think a Christmas tree belongs in the center, on the floor, tall & narrow! Congratulations! The Hartley is beautiful!!
For Christmas, the tree needs to go in the center. When viewing from outside the symmetry of the tree in the center is going to be very pleasing. And, it will not disrupt the use of the Greenhouse. You will only have to move the center table during the Holidays. Also, after watching you sweep up dirt etc. on the stone floor I would suggest that you get something like the Black & Decker "Dust Devil." It will pick up the dirt that gets stuck in the valleys and edges of the stone.
Try using a dustpan with a long handle. That way you do not have to bend down. Save those knees and back as much as you can now.
So happy for you. The Hartley is beautiful.
I would paint the white drain pipes black and stack baskets in front instead of a curtain. So glad you ordered 2 more chairs. You won't regret it.
You might consider commissioning pottery saucers.
It looks beautiful! I love all the new plants. It was very kind of you to thank the viewers but please remember that we watch because you have worked so hard to create great content. You deserve the joy you receive because you put so much joy out into the world.
I’m a few videos behind, but just seeing the inside of the Hartley puts such a big smile on my face! What a dream. :)
Instead of plastic dishes under pots, I love to find single cut glass plates and saucers at the thrift store. They look nicer than plastic and usually no one wants the single plates because they’re looking for sets. I like the amber glass and green glass for my plain pots, but clear is really beautiful under more decorative ones. And the thick glass serving plates work well under heavy pots. It might look really pretty to incorporate on the wood table :)
This is a wonderful idea! Cute floral tea saucers would look nice too…. So many possibilities!
@@alystodola I was thinking the same tea saucer’s, are usually pretty reasonable, and so pretty.
Love to see you moving into the Hartley!.. that huge silver trophy from the potting shed would be perfect to hold the smokebush limbs!!!
A tall thin tree in place of the center table is my vote. So lovely!
I'm so happy for you it makes me smile to see your joy ,and also I really enjoyed your interviews with your mom, what a sweet mother and daughter relationship. I feel like I know you both.
Blessings to you and your family.
Oh, I also wanted to say, your genuine excitement about the Hartley is so warming. Your appreciation for it is so obvious. No jading going on there!!! All your hard work deserves the positive vibes the space gives you.
Finally seeing things coming together in the Hartley!! I’ve been so anxious! 😉 I envision a tall skinny tree in the center decorated in a Victorian style with dripping bead garland, tinsel, and shiny glass ornaments. Surround it at the base with poinsettias.
I agree!
I have learned so much from your channel and have watched almost every video and my gardening mindset has changed so much. I now feel so much more confident in my gardening choices and feel so lucky to have stumbled on your channel many years ago. I am always entertained by your content and continue to learn. Thank you to you, your family and your team!
I got so excited watching you pick and pot and placing plants in the Hartley! I have been waiting patiently just like you to see it come to life, So happy for you Laura,
