@@cs.adventures feels great! Sometimes I wish I went with the s4 (only on the gnarly descents). A good friend of mine has the s4 stumpy evo expert. We traded bikes for a whole ride and it was nice! But when it comes down to my riding style and fitment, the S3 is my preference. My buddy with the sj evo expert is actually 5’10 as well. And before he made his S4 purchase he rode my bike for a week and then came to the conclusion that he definitely wanted the bigger size of the S4.
@@cs.adventures for sure no problem! I hope you get one! It’s a fantastic bike and I rode a lot of different mountain bikes when I worked in the bike industry. The different geo adjustments you get with this bike is amazing. Good luck with your search! 😃
I just picked up my Evo Pro yesterday. I picked this bike over; Pivot Firebird, DeVinci Sparton, Orbea Rallon M10, and Yeti SB TC 150 mainly because 70 % of my trails are blues, and single blacks, with about 4 rides a month on blacks, and double blacks. Also, the Evo is highly adjustable 6 geo settings, and with the WRP yoke, and Cascade link I can get it to 158mm in the rear and the Factory Fox fork can easily be set up from a 160mm to 170mm. My bike came in mixed wheel but the bike came with a rear link to set it up as a full 29er. Plus it was on sale from 8k+ to 6k+. I'm really looking forward to dialing it in.
Hell yeah that’s good to hear!! The sj evo is such a versatile bike that it can be set up for almost every type of riding. Glad you got one and I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do!! It’s been much loved and I have a smile on my face every time I ride it as I get blown away by it!
Here’s the latest one I use for my bike. Keep in mind it only works with the current model of the Fox 36 or the Fox 38 forks. It has to have the air valve release buttons on the lowers. A buddy of mind made that mistake.
