I totally needed this lesson…a few months ago Eric!!! I’ve spent the whole summer chicken winging the hell out of everything … and I spent a good month or better SHANKING WEDGES after a big drive. I can only assume I was standing too close and not gripping down enough to allow some space while trying to get the flight down. Even now that I’m not shanking I’m still living a little too close to disaster on some strikes.
Knees shaking knowing what is coming over a wedge shot is not a fun way to play this game.

I’ve been watching Eric‘s videos for years and this is one of the best I’ve seen. I have struggled with the chicken wing and pulled wedges, and this extension of the body through the ball allowing arm extension could be the key. Can’t wait to try. Thanks, Coach!

I pretty good with wedges but I’m going to work on these tips. I tend to hit up too much and need to hit the ball first then compress it.

Hey! Yrs....you can play around with it a bit. He was hitting too high already....so slightly back of center to help lower the fight slightly and make sure ball first contact!
