- Doctor Who Trading Cards have a long and storied history, from early Dr. Who and the Daleks cards coming free with sweets to the ever iconic Battles in Time, to the latest Magic the Gathering set.
This is an in depth history of every Trading Card release to date.
Special thanks to James ( / battlesintime_ ) who was gracious enough to give me his time, and whose website (www.battlesintime.co.uk) was genuinely invaluable in the production of this video.

You prompted me to dig out my trading cards to see what I had... I have all four of the Cornerstone sets, along with the 7 prism cards of the first series, the promotional cards for the first three sets, and the Premiere cards from the third (9 cards which combine to display a portrait of Hartnell on the back). I have a couple of the Strictly Ink cards that came with DWM, and a small selection of CCG cards. Great video.
Love it! Alien armies is criminally underrated in my opinion! Great video. PS love james' beanie 🤣
Thank you for having me, and allowing me to ramble on about the series I love!
Great video
Love this and big ups to James
