Shymkent is a vibrant city in southern Kazakhstan, known for its rich culture and lively atmosphere. It’s one of the country’s oldest cities, blending modern development with historic charm. The people here are incredibly warm and hospitable, and you’ll always find a sense of community in its bustling bazaars and cozy teahouses. The local cuisine is a highlight - traditional Kazakh dishes like beshbarmak and plov are must-tries! With its green parks, historical landmarks, and proximity to stunning natural landscapes like Sayram-Ugam National Park, Shymkent is a city full of energy and diversity.
