Almaty looks wonderful! This video came at just the right time. I have a Mongolian friend who lives in Almaty, and I just booked my flight to visit next Spring. It's a long way from Australia, where I live, but it looks like it will be 100% worth the trip.
Wow! Very nicely made video! The pace is very pleasant and calming. I've met some people from Kazakhstan living here in Norway and they slightly mentioned that it is nice there. They were holding back for sure!!😅 This city is something out of a Final Fantasy game or something. The background music also helped giving me that grand feeling. I have a new destination on my list thanks to you! 😊

10:29 man, you wouldn't believe but it wasn't pedestrian friendly just ten-twelve years ago. but thanks to huge investments by the municipalities, pre-existed wide streets and pavements, and lots of greenery, it had the potential to receive such a compliment from a traveler someday. which it did now. cheers from a local and im glad you had great time in my hometown =))

Astana has a bad mayor now. He cuts down trees and replaces new curbs and roads. But the city is still beautiful and rich. Come to the capital.
