Ken Nordine also narrated Levis and Flair commercials.
In this 1974 commercial for Taster's Choice, the announcer says that fresh perk flavor comes in a tin, so you haven't tried Taster's Choice, which is 100% freeze-dried coffee in a jar. Taster's Choice looks and smells like ground roast, and tastes fresh perked. And for decaffeinated drinkers, use Taster's Choice Decaffeinated; which comes in a green label, with the same fresh perk flavor.👍
VO sounds a bit like Dick Cavett?
As it says in Bionic Disco's description, it's the great Ken Nordine, the deep-voiced "word jazz" guy out of Chicago. He also voiced a lot of memorable Levi's commercials.
@@brentmann2988 thank you. (there was no description when i posted)
@@toronado455 But you are absolutely right, it does sound a bit like Dick Cavett. Both Cavett and Nordine had super deep voices and did a lot of commercial VO work. :)
*Does anyone know who the man is on the jar? Taster's Choice used his image from 1974 - 1980. Thank you for any help*
Ken Levine. He narrated many commercials. Levi's, Flair pen, and, of course, Taster's Choice. I had no idea he was the man on the regular Taster's Choice label. I wonder who the lady on the decaf label is.
